BUG: Apex 4 cached Pages lost DOCTYPE

Hello

It seems that when you cache pages, model DOCTYPE on the page is lost.
And this of course break usually layout.

I did create a single page and copy it to new id.
I've defined hide the page to the new page.

You can see samples here
No cache
http://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/OTN/f?p=28111:2
With cache
http://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/OTN/f?p=28111:3

At least for me second sample page area is sift left when the user opens the page with IE.

Same phenomenon also produces versions 3.x Apex where I test.

Kind regards
Jari

  • CFCACHE IN CF9 - can't find the cached pages!

    I used CFCACHE in earlier versions of CF and the cached page would be kept in the directory I specified.
    Now when I use the tag in CF9 page seems to be cached, but I can find all the pages cached in the directory I specified?

    Here is my code:

    < cfcache timespan = directory ' #CreateTimespan (10, 0, 0, 0) # "=" "C:/inetpub/sites Web/ssl/dev/page_cache /" stripWhiteSpace = "true" usequerystring = "true" > "

    The page seems to be cached because it loads quickly but I can't find where CF puts the cached version.

    It is a problem because when I need to clear the cache I don't know what directory to rinse.

    No idea where are my cached pages?

    CF9 added set cached in memory and is the default behavior for the tag.  See the docs for a more detailed explanation here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusion/9.0/CFMLRef/WSc3ff6d0ea77859461172e0811cbec22c24-7d 5a.html

    If you want to cache on the disk instead of memory (which is not as fast as the caching in memory), I think you need to include the 'repertoire' attribute and specify the absolute path to the directory that you want to cache the content.

  • Clear cache page after deletion to avoid errors ora-1403 Apex 5.01

    Hi all

    Always 'new' at Apex!

    I'm getting ORA-01403: no data available error after deleting a line in a 5.01 Apex form created from the interactive report + model form.

    After searching the forum, I found a direct reference to this situation:

    ORA-01403: no data available on the deletion of a record

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    After deleting a record, you must clear the page cache. If you do not have the primary key item session state can keep the old value of the deleted record. The page loading process will try to retrieve this value from the table and meet no data found.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Unfortunately, I do not know where or how to " " " clear the cache of the page ' after deleting a record.

    I saw the reverence to APEX_UTIL. CLEAR_PAGE_CACHE but I don't know where to use

    Others say still set the value of the key null column.

    The documentation of the Apex is said to use the URL:

    2.9.3.2.2 example: clear cache on a Page and passing an element value

    This example shows how to implement a form of update. It erases the existing information and sets the value of the element (usually a primary key).

    f?p=6000:6003:&APP_SESSION.::NO:6003:MY_ITEM:1234

    This example:

    • Runs the application 6003 6000 page and uses the ID of the current session

    • Specifies to not show debug information ( NO )

    • Clears all values maintained by the current session for the items on page 6003 cache

    • Sets the State of an element called session MY_ITEM value1234

    But I do not know where or how to do that in the context of the key Suppr.

    Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm learning the Apex using as many integrates native as possible features.

    If clearing the cache of the page, that's what needs to be done after the removal of a line, would not these features have been integrated to the Delete key?

    Thank you

    Mason

    OK, after wandering in the desert for a while, I tried this approach to clear the cache once you press the button Delete and it doesn't seem to work.

    I created a new process called "Clear the cache" after the process of "line process of...» »

    The process to clear the cache was of type PL/SQL Code with the section of Code PL/SQL, the value 'APEX_UTIL. CLEAR_PAGE_CACHE (2); »

    I don't know if it's a good way to do this, or if the accepted practices, or what side effects will rain down on me that they are, but at least I got a result that has solved my immediate problem.

    So nice to click on delete and not greeted with an ORA-01403 error!

    Thanks to everyone who helped me in on it!

  • Bug apex 3.1.1 in the development environment on the interactive report page?

    This may have been fixed in 3.1.2 so please ignore if it is.

    Try this:

    1 modify a report with an interactive report.
    2. go in the report attributes tab for IR.
    3. Select "back to Page".
    4) click the icon of change in one of the columns.

    I find that it always returns me to the attributes tab of the report instead of take me to the page editor for this column.

    Stew,

    And has now been set for the next release. As an additional note, this bug also affected edition "column groups".

    Anthony.

  • Strange bug hidden when the page is refreshed

    I have a really strange bug in an application.

    I have a report on the table which displays some O/N flags. The columns that display the flags are implemented as hyperlinks, so the user can reset the flags to "n" by clicking on the links.

    It is based on the following post:

    Processes necessary to remove line

    I did this by pointing the hyperlink to the same page and by assigning an item hidden on the page with an id of line, as shown in the above post.

    When the page loads, it has PL/SQL in front header area running SQL to define the indicators of "n" in the database. Right after that I use a process to clear the cache to reset the hidden element.

    It all works very well... when the user clicks on the hyperlink, the hidden element is filled and PL/SQL is running, then the hidden item is reset. If the user goes to another page and back, PL/SQL does not yet (because the hidden element is now empty).

    However, if the user clicks on the hyperlink, and they then refresh the page (F5), the PL/SQL is running again. Whenever they refresh the PL/SQL runs despite the cache for this element during the erasing. It seems as if the page refreshes is somehow the hidden item, remembered when the user has clicked on the hyperlink.

    I guess that by pressing F5 is to return all of the data, it sends the last time... How can I stop this from happening?

    Hello

    You can also use an approach using Ajax as described here: [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=41715:17].

  • APEX 5.0 Bug: apex.server.plugin pOptions is not defined

    When you call apex.server.plugin with just the identifier of the AJAX (i.e. no pData or pOptions) the following error occurs:

    TypeError: pOptions is undefined

    What happens in server.js on line 429...

    if ( pOptions.queue ) {

    As the docs says that pOptions is optional https://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E59726_01/doc.50/e39149/javascript_api.htm#AEAPI29511 , I think it is a bug.

    When passing to a JSON null pOptions, traverse AJAX request object (confirmed this via the logging on the server), however, there is an error on the page via an alert message. Example:

    apex.server.plugin(
      myAjaxIdentifier,
      {
        x01: 'test'
      },
      {}
    );

    The following error message is displayed in an alert message: error: parsererror - SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected end of data to column 1 of line 1 of the JSON data

    Hi Martin,

    Thanks to and for reporting this bug. I entered a bug and we will try to fix it in a version of the patch. For now, labour is about to pass an empty object to pOptions. Regarding the error you get when you do this, take a look at the answer. It cannot be valid JSON. If the response data are not JSON or there is no response data (204 no content) then you will need to use pOptions to specify the response format using the dataType pOption property. See the jQuery for this doc.

    When I tried passing an empty object I don't have the parsererror.

    Thank you

  • APEX 4.2: Page Transitions do not seem to work

    APEX 4.2, you can set the Page Transitions on the topic and/or the Page level. But everything I get, the transition is still the same (right blade).
    Is this a bug or a parameter missing in a model - or something else...?
    Ideas, advice, tips are welcome!

    Hi Roel,

    Try http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=10757:200 and click on the link to the customer.
    What I did is to change the default transition from the sample application (topic 50) to use the "Flow". This transition could work only in Safari/iPad.

    But you are right that the level of page setting works only if it is the first page. I'll take a look if we can change this for the production version.

    However, change in the body of a function that returns a SQL query and it is allowed on two pages:
    return q'{
    select lov_value lov_label, lov_value
    from
      (select 'Mens' lov_value from dual
      union all
      select 'Womens' from dual
      union all
      select 'Accessories' from dual)}'
    And the SQL of origin is recognized as a local of LOV definition to edit the Page item (page 4311).

    Hello

    I filed bug # 13520001 to change the checking logic of the wizard named LOV to use the same controls that we do on "Edit Item Page" (4311).

  • Possible bug in implementing caching query ColdFusion 10

    I have stumbled upon a bug in caching of queries in ColdFusion 10.  I wanted to see if anyone else had seen this before as I've submitted a bug report.  It will be difficult to set up a full test case, so I hope that a description will be enough to confirm if this is reproducible.

    First, I create an array of structures.  Each structure is a set of key/value pairs of the arguments that will be passed to a query.  The first two keys contain numeric values, the third a string value.  I asked a Microsoft SQL Server database.  My query is inside a loop of table.  The query contains the CachedWithin attribute to 1 hour. In the query, I pass values in the structure in the clause WHERE using CFQueryParam.

    If two sets of numeric values are quite similar, but not identical, ColdFusion will jumble the values and hidden bad back the query result set.  For example, values in my table:

    [{BookNo = 97, NUMPAGE = 1, match = 'Card of the evaluator'}, {BookNo = 212, NUMPAGE = 50, match = 'Card of the evaluator'}, {BookNo = 250, NUMPAGE = 12, match = 'Card of the evaluator'}, {BookNo = 97, NUMPAGE = 1, match = 'Card of the evaluator'}]

    When I run the page for the first time with an empty query cache, this is what I get:

    1. Search results for BookNo 97, NUMPAGE 1. (non-cached)
    2. Search results for BookNo 212, NUMPAGE 50. (non-cached)
    3. Search results for BookNo 212, NUMPAGE 50. (cached)
    4. Search results for BookNo 97, NUMPAGE 1. (cached)

    What should I get:

    1. Search results for BookNo 97, NUMPAGE 1. (non-cached)
    2. Search results for BookNo 212, NUMPAGE 50. (non-cached)
    3. Search results for the BookNo 250, NUMPAGE 12. (non-cached)
    4. Search results for BookNo 97, NUMPAGE 1. (cached)

    See the problem with the third iteration, it's pulling the same results of the second iteration.  If I remove the CachedWithin, achieve the desired results.  If I create my own CacheID, I get the expected results.  It's only when I let ColdFusion handle the cache on its own I get incorrect results.

    Someone at - he seen anthing like that?  This look like a bug legitimate which must be filed?

    -Carl V.

    @BKBK,

    It's too complex for me to say. I have these questions, for example:

    (1) when the loop is processed, ColdFusion treats 4 queries consecutively?

    (2) a comparison of SQL statements is one of the controls that ColdFusion is running to decide whether to perform a given query or use cached data. Data using cfqueryparam binding has an effect on the SQL statement?

    (3) place a cfdump of the request as the last statement in the loop. A query dump tells you if a query is cached. You see what queries are cached?

    1. Yes.
    2. Oooh!  I've been using cfqueryparam.  I removed the cfqueryparams, and now he behaves as expected.  Seems that there is a bug when combining cfqueryparam and caching.
    3. Already had this and it was the results cached for the second query processing allegedly the third query (see the original post for the expected and actual results).

    -Carl V.

    Update: and it seems that it is a known bug, after all, with the layout of the query cache and cfqueryparam: https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3369530.  I'll add my vote, and perhaps others can also.

    Update 2: and looking more closely, it looks like it has been fixed in an everything-to-be-released version.  I hope that we will get it soon.  A suggested workaround solution was to place the values of cfqueryparam in a SQL comment, which seems to help CF recognize the single request instructions and cache correctly.

    Yes it can be funny like that.

    I lost count of the number of times I got to reregister APEX as a UNIQUE partner authentication app and then relaunch regapp when everything looks ok.

    Happy that you guessed it work.

    You may want to look at creating a schema called APEX_SSO and the ssosdk running in this scheme (that is to say he will be the owner of the table of $ wwsec_enabler_config_info). The advantage of this is that you shouldn't have to worry about anything whatsoever when you upgrade to a future version of APEX that is when the schema changes from FLOWS_030200 to APEX_040000 for example which means normally run the ssosdk in the new schema and run the regapp.

    Hope that helps.
