  RTMP connections are theoretically limitless.

  Oh! You can save in WSSF. It is possible with FMIS or FMDS (development server).

  Maybe you need to buy a new license in case if you want to use the recording feature.

  I'm new to FMS and have worked on Flash Media Development Server.

  My configuration:

  I have FMS and HTTP server on the same machine. I developed an Application with Flex Builder 3 Chat room on the machine online. In this regard, I used the SharedObject FMS technology to implement a function to the user online list. When debugging, I found there is no SharedObject had been created and there is no err an exception has been thrown.

• Flash Media Streaming Server and audioSampleAccess

  Before all sorry for my English. I am trying to program a direct mp3 player in AS3 for a radio streaming via Flash Media Streaming Server, can I use the function of soundMixer.computeSpectrum () and (after diving along a lot of forums) I realized I need to uncomment the line p_client.audioSampleAccess () in applicattion main.asc in direct folder. The problem is that we have a license of Flash Media Streaming Server, not a license of Flash Media Server, so we can only use signed Adobe applications.
  
  I also tried to put the AudioSampleAccess tag in the file Application.xml under this < AudioSampleAccess enabled = "true" > / < / AudioSampleAccess > but still does not work. Is it possible to do this with FMS, or do we need a FMS license? Thanks in advance for your answers

  But how do the 2 steps under linux?

  Also, there are still a thing that you can do - if you're not so special by using the Console but wants just the Admin commands to work. You can use the commands Api HTTP Admin place - you will need to configure your Users.xml to allow the HTTP Admin API commands and then read API Admin on how to use it.

  I suggest try everything in my previous post and see if it works for you.

  'Open flash Media Administration Console' from start-> all programs-> Adobe-> Flash Media Server... and then sign in using your credentials that gave you when installing. After login, click on "Manage servers" and then click on 'License', you will be able to see which version and which edition of FMS is installed.

• Using Actionscript 2.0 classes in Flash Media Server

  I am using the new Flash Media Interactive Server 3.
  I have written quite a few classes to make a game in a nice object-oriented medium. Each of them in the style of the Actionscript 2.
  
  Now, when I'm in my "main.asc" (the file actually executed by FMS. I can't find a way to import these classes.
  When you use:
  Import the package. Class;
  The server cannot resolve the name of the package.
  When you use:
  Load("dir/file.asc");
  The server does not allow me to use the keyword "class".
  
  Does anyone have experience in this field? And it is even possible to use this kind of classes (that work well when they are used in a SWF client side)

  FMS does not use AS1 but Javascript 1.5 Customize Adobe :) SSAS (Server
  Side ActionScript) isn't AS1 ;)

  But in SSAS, we can create the class of OBJECT-oriented programming and use implementations as AS2 or
  AS3 with class, design patterns, etc...

  You can upgrade Adobe Media Sever by simply adding the key to the series through the Administration Console and the license will take effect immediately.

  Currently, my company uses FMS 3.5 and uses fairly regularly for the video stream to clients on the web. I am currently the only user with access to the FTP root to place the video files on the FMS. What we would like to know; Y at - it an easy way for others to download videos on the FMS without giving them direct access. That is to say a download tool that puts a video on the server.

• Flash Media Server 4.5 fails often when I log onto the service as administrator on Windows 2008 R2 for x 64

  I recently installed the Flash Media Server 4.5 on my Windows 2008 x 64 R2

  Whenever I try to restart the service as an administrator he starts giving problems such as making connection authenticated with Flash Media Encoder Live (I installed the x 64 plugin for authentication which is with v3.2 FMEL)

  Please can someone guide me why FMS 4.5 becomes unstable and buggy once I restart the Apache Server and Flash Media Service as an administrator! I need to host files on network drives so I need administrator access... If adobe don't like the administrator name then whats the alternative workaround, for example create usernames?

  One of the solutions I've found is it's to say try doing all the three Services of Windows FMS ( Flash Media Server (FMS) ,Flash Media Administration Serverand FMSHttpd) in the few controller domain or at least the same administrator account.

  After doing this first manually stop Flash Media Administration Server. After the Administration Server stops now run the Flash Media Server (FMS), which should automatically launch the FMSHttpd (Apache) Service. Once the two are started, then try to start the Flash media Administration Server.

  To make sure that Flash Media Administration Service always begins LAST you can either use the manual Batch file in the boot sequence or can set the "Delayed start" option in the settings of Services.

  However, when I'm testing my player with other remote streaming servers, I notice the bugs because of the transmission of lower bandwidth between the server and the player.
  
  Is there a simple way to simulate lower bandwidth with FMS4 on localhost (with config, application.xml, programming...)?

  Have you tried using Client.setBandwidthLimit () API available in SSAS? He can probably help you with what you want to do.

  Beside that, you can use NetLimiter or shunra utlitiy to choke BW like client-side.

  I do not think that 9.3 update will be updated to FMS 4.5 +. Connect is built on a version of FMS, and which usually does not change between versions of full version.

  The FMS instance that belongs to Connect is fully supported by Adobe as part of your Connect & maganga. If there is a security problem you have with it, apart from the version number, I would recommend that you raise these concerns with the Platinum support to see if they apply, or can be solved.
