Bug using a Wacom Intuos graphics tablet with iWork?

Hello

I use a small Wacom Intuos Pro for a long time. But since ca 2 weeks in Pages, Numbers and Keynote I can not keep the selected text by dragging the cursor over the text. Right now I have raise the pen, the text is deselected. Using the trackpad works fine. Or just the arrows + Shift.

I installed a few weeks ago, the new Numbers, Pages, and Keynote versions. I think that after that the bug occurred. But perhaps after installing a new driver from Wacom.

MacBookPro late 2007, the most recent operating system.

Greetings,

Claus

Check if Wacom has updated drivers tablet again after the version you have installed. Otherwise, you are using an input device with third-party drivers tablet, and it will be difficult at best in order to determine if it's an OS X, Wacom, or the problem of enforcement capability Apple. If you have MS Word, selection of pen you describe works properly it?

Are you trying to make use of Panel preference ink system Apple which is only displayed when a Tablet and stylus are detected?

More recent OS X is 10.11.5. Update to that though, not to this version, then update the Wacom software if more recent (and compatibility with 10.11 is specified). Repeat the test.

  • How to make an anti-aliasing not vector rectangles in Photoshop CS5 using a Wacom Intuos 4?

    Hello

If you use Photoshop CS5 to draw a vector using the Wacom Intuos 4 rectangle, the rectangle out of anti-aliasing, but when I draw a rectangle by using a mouse on the same computer, there is no anti-aliasing.

What can I do to get the vector of smoothing sharp, not rectangles?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

The choice of the mouse or stylus is not serious.  Form of layers in Photoshop are embattled, but you can reduce that by creating exactly on the pixel grid (look at the tool options and set it to hang on to the Pixels.

  • My Wacom Graphire4 graphics tablet works only with the pen pressure, OK in CS5 but not CS6...

I am Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and still have the CS5 and CS6 64 bits loaded.  I've used my tablet with stylus Graphire4 with CS6 will detect all problems.  All of a sudden it only works with the pen pressure even if the stylus pressure is off.  I'm trying to use it as a mouse and frequently use shift/click when you change a mask.  I can do it no longer.  If I run CS5 the pen works as it should but not CS6.  When I first open the CS6 with visible brush the brush palette shows a hard brush, but when I open a file it turns into sensitive pressure without measure by me.  I have reset the brushes, re-installed the driver and finally downloaded a driver more but the problem persists.  Because it works very well in CS5 but not CS6 it must be a problem to Adobe.  It's very frustrating.  I enclose a composite image showing what happens to the CS6.  The right side shows what looks like the brush palette until I open a file.  The left side shows what happens when I open a file.   Even if I do not open a file and make changes within the brush palette, it immediately turns to pen pressure.  It's very strange.

I would of course someone can provide information that could help.

    Kind regards... Ralph

No answers, but in the meantime, I have come into contact with Adobe.  Problem has been resolved by phone.  Resolution is to delete the preferences file reopen CS6, date at which the PS automatically creates a new preferences file.  It was she, corrected a problem... Ralph

  • Small graphics WACOM Intuos 4 Tablet

    Hi all

Brand new to this technology and I need now of a Wacom tablet. I searched on google but could not find the answers to my two questions. So I hope that someone using this product might.

What is the main difference between the Intuos 4 small and medium Intuos 4 (outside the size and price?)

Do you need a screen that has a usb port or any connection to use this product?

If you have not all connections on your screen, can buy you an adapter for it?

Sorry, realized that was three questions and not two.

    Thanks in advance

    Josel

The main difference is that the average size has two extra

the buttons and they lit labels next to them.

The small version used a representation on the screen of the switches with labels.

In fact, it could be better because without doubt already wanted on the screen when using the tablet.

  • Use of the external graphics card with Satellite A205-s4797

Also, can I use this external graphics card, it's "Asus XG Station", with my laptop, Satellite A205-s4797?

    Why not???

If it s possible to plug this card into the laptop, then I see no serious reasons why you shouldn't t be able to use it.

But as much as I know as the external card can only be used with the external display (monitor) because the portable computers internal display is already taken by internal graphics card.

  • Problem with lines in Illustrator using the Wacom Tablet

    Hi all

I have no idea why I'm having this problem in Illustrator. I use the small Intuos Pen Tablet (CTL-480), and my lines in illustrator is really strange. Even when I turn off the pressure in the brush settings, there is a gap in the line (it takes just one line of the same thickness). The Tablet works perfectly in Photoshop, but because I use the tablet to create art using plates (typography), it is easier and better for me to use illustrator. You are not sure that someone else had a similar problem or know maybe a setting I could change or try to fix it?

I have attached a picture of the problem.

    Thank you for your help.

    This is a known issue.

If all you want is a line single width, do not use brushes. Use the pencil tool and a simple blow

If you apply a calligraphy brush, apply the effect zig - zag to it with a value of 0, then a setting of about 100 (turn on the preview to adjust)

  • Remove the effects of training of slider Windows 7 using a graphic tablet

I recently bought a HP Pavilion p6-2260ea PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Creative Suite CS6 to use with my Wacom Intuos 3 tablet.  It seems to be a bit - spoke about problem that Windows 7 highlights some rather irritating effects of return of pen in the form of wavelets animated that eminate from the cursor when using the Wacom tablet.  I was able to change the settings of the tablet in the control panel to disable the "click and hold right click =" effect, but by removing the effects of return of ripple/pen themselves are proved to be much more complex.  It seems that I need to change the registry key by adding a new line of turning off pen feedback, or change something in the "Local Group Policy Editor", whatever it is.  Apparently I access it by running "gpedit.msc" - my computer doesn't seem to have this file on it!

Anyone know how this problem can be solved and be able to explain it to me in simple terms?  I'm not an expert in computers and would require a solution step by step in detail.  I very much hope that this can be resolved.  I have spent a lot of money on a new PC shiny with a beautiful HD display great to use a package of Adobe very expensive to do my work, and I find that pesky Windows 7 has a daft feature that means tablets are as useless for actual drawing!

Adobe have been useless and not forbear (surprising really, you would have thought the use of the Adobe on Microsoft PCs with a Wacom tablet would be a fairly common combination they would have answers to problems with Windows 7!).  A forum for Microsoft told me

"Group Local 1) open the policy editor: run... gpedit.msc.
    2) access cursor components - Tablet PC - Windows User Configuration - model of administration.
"(3) the setting of pen input, turn to" which is useless because I don't seem to have a Group Policy Editor locally on my PC.  A forum for Wacom spoke about changing the registry key, but not sufficiently clear, and so far I have had no success.

Can anyone on the HP forum troubleshoot?

    Yours hopefully, etc..

    Hello Toastcartoons1,

You spoke of this thread of responses Micorsoft?

Feedback: Dynamic Pen in Windows 7, cannot turn off

If he had more than a few suggestions in the list that I'm not sure if you've tried or not

The first modification of the service to say that it runs

-> Panel-> administration-> Services tools scroll Tablet PC Input service (not TabletServiceWacom)-> Service Stop.

The second was to change the program to prevent it from launching

Now, I think, I'm finally rid off them, I hope at least.
I turn off the wisptis.exe which can be found under Windows\system32... and I renamed it to wisptis.exe_ so it is not start again. This makes the trick for me, so far...

  • Can't drag sliders in photoshop using a big pro of wacom intuos Tablet

Hello! I'm having a problem that's already happened where I can't drag the sliders in photoshop as for opacity, hue, etc. I can on my house build, but this is a new configuration of working with photoshop CC and an intuos large pro on a thinkpad running windows 8.1. Is there any sort of "use the graphics tablet" option in photoshop that will arrange? (you must enable such a thing for cinema 4 d) I disabled windows ink already and my drivers are up to date. Thanks in advance for any help!

But the latest version is the 6.3.10w2 Multilingual Version. And if you run the center of office of Wacom, it could offer a later version.

  • Bug in Lightroom CC with Wacom Intuos Pro curves

I have a Wacom Intuos Pro and LRCC on my Macbook Pro i7.

I can't move the curves in the module of tone curve using my pen and tablet.  If I use my trackpad, it works fine.  I had this problem with LR5 and had to roll back my driver on my Wacom to 2 older versions to repair.  Now that I've upgraded to LRCC, the problem is back. I also tried the newer and older drivers. I can't to the pass smoothly.  In fact, sometimes if I just click on a point on the curve and hold the pen firmly, he will start creeping to the right and top... even without moving.

Anyone else having this problem, and you have set?

    Thank you!

I revisited this and I think I see what you are referring. It is a bit subtle, what is happening, but I would like to explain my results and see if you experience the same.

Everything by moving a point on the curve of tone autour with my Wacom pen, sometimes point will refuse to move or move a bit erratic. What I discovered, it's my cursor and point move together. This is especially true when you move to the top or to the right. Down and to the left, have a lesser effect. To illustrate this, click on a weak point on the curve and move it to the top. When you release the cursor will reappear and there will not be above the point. Instead, the cursor will be moved higher. Now click on that point and move it to the bottom. When you release this time, the cursor will be much closer to the point, if not directly above. The same phenomenon occurs when you move to the right compared to moving to the left. The movement to the right is really important because the cursor will hit the edge of the screen very quickly, preventing you from moving the point further to the right. The same thing can happen when you move the point up, especially if you repeatedly move the point up and down. This limitation of the movement to the right or upwards may make believe that the point is not to do what you want and it only gets worse the harder you try. This can also make it likely that you will eventually move the point in any direction that causes the point of becoming disabled and are deleted (move the chart or another point on the graph).

If you can verify that this is the behavior you are as well, so we can get this reported to engineering for repair.

The solution is to move only the points a little bit at a time before letting go and re-clicking the point, especially when moving upwards and to the right. Big, sweeping movement of the stylus while only clicked on one point should be avoided.

  • Photoshop CS5 with Wacom Intuos 3 - problem

I recently upgraded my PC and therefore reinstalled Adobe Design Standard CS5 and my Wacom Intuos 3. But on my first attempt to draw something, I realized that the pressure of the stylus is not always recognized correctly. So, I get a few lines with and without pressure:

    pspinnt.jpg

No idea how can I fix? The Tablet works correctly with open canvas, so this should be a problem with Photoshop.

    Thank you in advance.

Make sure you have Photoshop installed updates.

Then contact Wacom.  Photoshop uses only pressure information it receives from the wacom driver, and they sometimes have bugs like this.

  • Trackpad unusable after using the Wacom Tablet

After using my graphics tablet pro Wacom Intros to edit images, the trackpad becomes unusable. Even when not frozen it will not properly work without a reboot. This happens every time, so it becomes a bit of a drag.

I use an iMac of mid-2011 and OSX 10.11.4.

Would like to know how this can be corrected.

The tablet pen and wacom are known causes of interference.   Move them well away from your computer and try again.   With no improvement, move them temporarily out of the room and try again.   You need to establish that it is the culprit.  Once it is proven, you will need to find a way to work the problem goods because you can not blame the system for causes of interference.

  • Windows 8 wacom Intuos tablet problems

So I found wonderful Windows 8 but then I plugged my Wacom Intuos 4 after installing the drivers 'new' for Win8 and what happened? My tablet is useless and cannot work with it, it has a long delay in response, as it begins just randomly click and hold, lose clicks, these boring "feedback" as the feedback of pressure, the key based on your comments and all these 'useless' feedbacks that I can't just turn off I have I used to do with Windows 7.

Up to Microsoft, any solution? I know, blame Wacom but also Wacom does not give an answer...
Please I need a solution because I need to work and I paid for that I ask for a solution!

I just wanted to add that 6.1.3 - 5 driver works perfectly with Windows 8.  Is a former Windows 7 driver, but all performance issues appear to be fixed, and all the stupid Windows waving animations disappear.  In addition, the Wacom properties panel opens and works correctly.

  • Tableta Wacom Intuos

    Hola!

Ask yourself if the Intuos can be used to draw in Photoshop? Yes. (But be aware of the learning curve associated with learn to know Photoshop paint tools. It is not difficult; involving only.)

  • What Photoshop Fix capable of working with Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus 2 on Ipad?

I'm ready to buy a Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus 2 for use with my Ipad. I wonder if I'll be able to make the photo editing on Adobe Photoshop difficulty with this on my Tablet wacom pen!

    Hi there lysolol,

I apologize for the late response. I think that the pen will be able to interact as any other stylus, but I do not think that there is any variation in the width or the pressure sensitivity because there is no option to pair with the app. Let me know if I can do anything for you!

    See you soon
