Bundle manifest editor Exception

Following the advice of WDS, we just migrated to EB 2.1 (using the trial version so that the problems of authentication team releases patches for the standard version via the partner portal) and on importation or by opening a 2.0 EB existing project in FlashBuilder 4.6 and attempting to access the Bundle Manifest editor throws an exception and displays the message "could not open the editor of» : An unexpected exception was thrown. "(The event log is included below.)

Is there a way to edit externally manifest to correct whatever the editor has problems? (We hope that the only solution it is NOT to create a new project and import sources.)

Looks like you should be able to work around it by editing the manifest.xml file.

  • Impossible to make changes in bundle manifest Editor

    Nice day!

I guess that there is a simple oversight on my part, but perhaps someone can indulge in a newbie Builder Extension.

I want to add MinSize and MaxSize to an existing project, but when I start the Bundle Manifest editor I can't enter or edit the display text.

Any likely error come to mind?

    Hi Pfaffenbichler,

manifest.xml view is not editable - you can use the relevant tabs, such as:

Or use a text editor and manually change the manifest.xml.

  • Self-signed Extensions in Adobe Extension manager do not appear on Windows > Extensions in Indesign CC tab after update to 2014.2Release, 10.2.0.69Build

I updated Indesign CC as the cloud has suggested. After the update, I've compiled my extension developed in Eclipse new self-sufficiency signed (by creating a self-signed certificate) using ZxpSignCmd. I exported my ZXP format Extension.

I couldn't see it in Windows > Extensions in Indesign CC tab.

I tried all the XmpSamplePanel.zxp example further

I couldn't see it in Windows > Extensions in Indesign CC tab.

It was working fine until yesterday before update.

any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hello

    I found the reason.

I'm working in Eclipse with Extension builder 3.

The reason in my case was manifest.xml

    ''

I changed the version in the Bundle Manifest Editor. but unfortunately, it is not enough. You must create the folder named CSXS on the root of your extension folder and manually the manifest.xml file

In this file, simply copy the full xml of the Bundle manifest editor and save it.

sign (by creating a self-signed certificate) using ZxpSignCmd, export the ZXP format Extension, install with Adobe CC extensions Manager

    FACT!

  • How to configure the zxp so that he will place the related files for the Panel in one specific folder other than the folder "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common files \Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\extensions\ ' usual?

    Hello

I'm working on a Panel for Adobe Premiere pro CC, now we have a group set on foot which will install all the files that are part of the Extension and associated content files folder in the

Folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common files \Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\extensions \Panel\CONFIG. But we have to change this location to C:\Users\USER\APPDATA or any other folder specified for the user during the installation itself.

Is it possible to do Builder extension?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Anoop NR

    Thanks guys,.

I have it! Extensions of the hybrid.

I use Adobe Extension builder 3 in Eclipse to code and create the zxp for Premiere pro panel.

See the hybrid extension HTML panels advice part: #10 packages / installers ZXP | Photoshop, etc I added a hybrid extension using the manifest editor Panel within the extension Builder. It creates an automatically mxi file with all the properties, I have to change the maximum version number of host in the mxi file to make the extension in the first pro CC 2014. Using the hybrid option in the Bundle manifest editor you can choose a set of folder paths to put the files during the installation itself and can be used later using "csInterface.getSystemPath (SystemPath.CODE)" of javascript functions to edit.

    Thanks for your relpies,

  • Creating custom using Extension Builder 3 Panel icon?

How should we do about adding a custom icon for extension set with Extension Builder 3 signs?

The default icon looks like Lego (see below)

    panel-icon.jpg

I would like to replace the generic icon with an image which can visually identifies the Panel even when it's minimized.

    Found.

    1. In Eclipse, choose window > Open Perspective > other > Adobe Extension Builder 3.
    2. Right click on your project, and select Adobe Extension Builder 3-> Bundle manifest Editor.
This editor allows you to change the properties of your extension
    3. Bundle Manfest editor > leg Extension (bottom) > tab User Interface (back to top).  Images used .png and it worked.
  • How you resize an Extension after creation

    Hello

I created a panel that is 200 x 200, but now I want it to load to 400 x 350, how I changed the size of the control panel loads. I have seen that you enter a height and a width when the first creation of the Panel (using the Wizard), but I can't change the height/width in the manifest.xml.

    Stephen

You can change the width and height defined in the manifest using the manifest from the Bundle Editor.

Right-click on the project and go to CS Extension Builder > Bundle manifest Editor, then in the editor to click the Extension downstairs.

Then click on User Interface and you can change the default width/height, but also other user interface properties.

  • How to view the user interface created using CS Extension Builder in our menu.

    Hello

I created a user interface that includes a text box and a button using "CS Extension Builder" and as I - CS5.

I enter this in the window-> Extension.

But I want it to appear in my menu.

so I just want to know how can I do this? Any API does it take?

    Thank you

What is not clear with the samples, it is that your CSXS Extension can actually choose not to contribute a menu under window > Extensions.

FreeGrid sample has elements of menu under window > SDK > free grid (who calls in C++ code that fires a CSXS event to open the extension) and the title of the window > Extensions > free UI grid that opens the CSXS Extension, which, in turn, communicates with the C++ plug-ins. If you remove the

tag in the manifest file of the extension of the free grid UI (under .staged-extension/CSXS), then who's going to get rid of the window > Extensions > free menu item grid UI, leaving only the menu item defined in the C++ plug-ins. Appears not to be supported by Bundle manifest Editor Extension Builder (I'll file a bug on this topic now), but you can manually edit the manifest file (in Extension Builder, you will need to click on the arrow down on the upper right of the package Explorer and select "filters", then uncheck the ".") * resources"box - this will make the folder visible .staged-extensions. Then just navigate to the fichier.staged-extension/CSXS/manifest.xml, right click on it and select "open with > XML Editor".)

    Hope that helps,

    Louis

  • The extension name and version

    Hello

I built an Extension of InDesign using libraries in Flash Builder 4 and CS Extension Builder.

Extension works well, I just want to change its name and version that I see in the CS5 Extension Manager (to the title of the Extension column that I see: "com.example.exampleExt"...).

    How can I do?

I tried editing the manifest.xml file, but it didn't work.

    Thank you.

You can also change the manifest file through the editor of Manifest Bundle of Extension tool.

Open the editor, right click of your ExtBuilder project, and then go to Builder Extension CS-> Bundle manifest Editor.

To change the bundle ID and the version, click the Bundle and edit fields in the General remarks.

To change the ID and the version for a particular extension in a bundle, go to the Extension tab and change the information in the General information section.

  • Manifests problems

I'm having a lot of trouble with the customization of the manifest file.

The first problem is that any non-standard customization (such as the placement of menu in InDesign) gets wiped out by the manifest Editor. My solution is to avoid using the manifest editor and manually change the manifest.

My current problem is that I need a different ScriptPath for Flash and Fireworks. I noticed that the Kuler extension done this, and I copied the structure XML (base) from there. I get an error when I try to compile my project.

I'm doing something wrong or is this a bug?

    Here is my manifesto:

InDesign extension is not displayed when run via the option "Debug as".

    Hi all

I worked on an application InDesign Extension for a few months now. I am Member creative cloud. I FlashBuilder 4.6 + Extension Builder 2.1 (both licensed versions) and InDesign CS6 and CC installed on my machine. The application is targeted for InDesign CS 5.x and 6 CS and CC versions. So far, I've tested it via "run as" and "Debug as" options of the FB; and in time, I "export as" ZXP for internal versions.

I'm having two problems, do not know if they are related.

    1. when I try to bundle manifest, it fails with the following error: (at first, I thought it was an installation problem, but I did another test project and bundle manifest works on that one)

Could not open the Editor: an unexpected exception was thrown.

    2. my other problem is, I recently changed the name of the project and the name of the application in the Menu, and since I did that, my extension is not displayed when I perform "run as" or "Debug as" Flash Builder. To enforce as / debug as, the code compiles and appears in the folder "bin-debug", the application is triggered, but when I navigate to Windows > Extensions, my extension is not present here. Although when I export as ZXP and install via Extension Manager CS 6 or CC, it shows my last extension in Windows > Extensions with the correct name.

Any help is very appreciated. Please let me know if I need to provide more information.

    Kind regards

    Swati.

I've solved both of my problems. And I thought I'll post for others.

First problem, where the manifest failed Bundle of FlashBuilder, was resolved by a change in the manifest.xml (who lives at /.staged-extension/CSXS). The change I made was tag. Earlier it was (generated by FlashBuilder 4.5):

    I changed it to:

I did a bit of hit and trial and it seems that FlashBuilder generated 4.5 tag host with the Version with only the specialties of the minimum version while FlashBuilder 4.6 requires that all versions of specialties listed in the Version attribute.

The second problem of debug/run as not to install the extension properly in InDesign, has been set as a result of the software update of FlashBuilder.

This is what brought me to do:

I retraced my steps and realized last thing I did before the "Debug as Adobe InDesign Extension" of in FlashBuilder broke on my machine has been updated InDesign CS6 to the latest available version, which probably ended up with flash/flex versions of InDesign and FlashBuilder. Therefore, perform a fixed update debugging.

  • java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.vmware.vise.usersession.UserSessionService

I want to use the class UserSessionService my java service project which the project of the UI uses via the proxy.

    My budle - context.xml contains

    < name of the bean = "TestInterfaceImpl" class = "com.acme.TestInterfaceImpl" >

    < Ref constructor-arg = "userSessionService" / >

    < / bean >

and the context bundle - osgi.xml contains

    < osgi:service id="TestInterface" Ref='TestInterfaceImpl' interface='com.acme.TestInterface' / >

    <osgi:reference id='userSessionService' interface='com.vmware.vise.usersession.UserSessionService' />

    I am getting following error

    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.vmware.vise.usersession.UserSessionService

I even tried to add the vsphere client - lib.jar server folder and pickup. Still the same error.

EDIT: The mistake of higher level, that I think is

Departure failed to bundle '< my bundle name >' release ' 1.0.0 '. org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: error creating bean with name 'userSessionService': initialization of bean failed; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.TypeMismatchException: could not convert the value of property of type "java.lang.String" necessary "java.lang.Class []" type for the property "interfaces"; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: cannot find the [com.vmware.vise.usersession.UserSessionService] class

See this article in docs/FAQ.html, it looks that you add com.vmware.vise.usersession to the list of import-package in your package MANIFEST. MF.

How to solve most of the ClassNotFoundException or similar errors?

In most cases a ClassNotFoundException or similar "not found" error, is caused by incorrect packets or missing in import-package your bundle manifest. For example if your java service uses all the packagecom.vmware.vise.data.query SDK API, this package should be listed in the manifest (that's how Virgo manages dependencies between dynamic libraries). We recommend using a tool like bundlor to generate the manifest with your build, you will avoid a lot of mistakes!

If the 'not found' error always happens when you call a remote web service of your java plugin, another thing to try is to add the packet missing in the plugin UI initial call MANIFEST to your java plugin. For example if you get a popup with the com.ctc.wstx.stax.WstxInputFactory provider not found error, you must add com.ctc.wstx.stax to the import-Packages of the MANIFESTO of the plugin of your user interface (in addition to your Java plugin).

  • Android.cfg file not created - BB10 Push Notification

I'm enbaling push notification in my android app BB10 runtime. I'm following this doc to implement the push. I developed the Android using Novell project. I tried different ways to create the file cfg under bar.

    1. Before you create the apk, added the cfg file in the root of the project name of the application (tried naming as android.cfg also).
    2. Using this apk, I generated the .bar file, but Android folder, res folder and apk file do not exist, cfg file is not exist.
    3. Then I tried to add file cfg under bar file after you have created the apk but before signing bar leader, but I started getting the following error:

  • Y at - it a video editing software that I could use.

I was asked to edit a video together.  I have Windows 7 and Office 2010.  Is there a simple video editing software in there?

I have add more details to your previous thread if you want to further diagnose your problem with Movie Maker.

As for your current question on AVS4YOU, my guess would be that the VPS is a project file that is unique to this program.  In other words, the person who would continue to edit your project should have the same editing program, the project file and all the source files in the same places on their PC.

All video editing software are probably very similar in this regard.  For example, in Movie Maker, when you add items to your project, add transitions, etc. that they will appear in your project file.  In the case of Movie Maker, it's a .wlmp file.  A project file contains no actual video, photos or music, just the current state of your project.  It will contain a list of all your source files (the folder and the name of the relevant media file) and the details on the changes, transitions, effects, titles, legends added, etc.  But this isn't a file that can be understood by other video editing programs.

To share the results of your changes, you must save the film resulting in a video file.  There are many formats of your choice.  For example, the latest version of Movie Maker can record in MP4 or WMV format.  That can be used in other programs.  AVS4YOU lists a number of formats too.

However, which would result in a single video file with all your changes incorporated.  He would split points, individual videos/pictures, transitions, etc.  So basically, once you start editing in a video editor, you can't transfer this session to another video editor except as a completed film.

There are exceptions, for example Adobe makes it so their other products include Photoshop files and Illustrator, or part of a project of creation may be related to an After Effects project.  Another example is that a Movie Maker project can be imported into Nero video 2014 for further processing. But it must be designed for and is not common during the passage to other video editing software.

Then, I refer to the following method in the FAQ:

Q:bundle installation will fail because "One Import-Package can be solved": This means that Virgin can not find any package installed exporting the missing package: (1) Metadata Import-package bundle manifest are bad (but this is very unlikely if you used a tool like bundlor to generate), (2) or the missing package is a library which itself contains no correct OSGI metadata (see how to package a library as an OSGI bundle) (3) or simply as the bundle export the package in question is not yet deployed! See the list of status bundle in the Publisher of the Virgin. Select the package and check the list exported packages.   (4) If you have checked the previous points and the deployment error persists, try to remove your work/Server directory where the beams are cached, and restart the server.

    Step 1. I'm done.

Step 2. Even if I use "Virgo/Run MANIFEST generation. The MF FILE"to get the file MANIFEST. MF, virgo still does not start.

Step 3. There is no package called 'com.fujitsu.evwcphtmlbridgeui.mvc' in the overview of the bundle.

    Step 4. Do not work.

    2. after the construction of java code, I get a warning. If it leads to the first question?

BuildFile: C:\sdk\workspace-sts\evwcp-htmlbridge-service\build-java.xml clean: [delete] removing directory [mkdir] C:\sdk\workspace-sts\evwcp-htmlbridge-service\target Created dir: C:\sdk\workspace-sts\evwcp-htmlbridge-service\target\classes compilation-java: [javac] 10 compilation of source C:\sdk\workspace-sts\evwcp-htmlbridge-service\target\classes [javac] WARNING files: [options] bootstrap class path is not fixed with - 1.6 source [javac] 1 WARNING BUILD SUCCESSFUL Total time: 2 seconds

By referring to the method in the FAQ, I need to install JDK1.6, but step "Add jdk1.6.x/lib/rt.jar javac-bootstrap option' makes me confused, I don't know how to do."

    BTW: my software environment
    Win7 x 86
    Java JDK 1.7.0_17
    Apache Ant 1.9.2
    Eclipse JEE
    M 2.9.2.RELEASE
Eclipse Virgo tools I can't find version
    vSphere Client SDK Tools 1.0.0.201402061353
    Flash Builder 4.7
    Flex SDK 4.6
    Flash Player 11.5 +.
I put the Java compiler option - target 1.6 in my build script.

    > "

Version 0.0.0 is a sign that the MANIFEST is missing from the jar to this bundle (the default version is set to 1.0.0 in MANIFEST. MF)

This means that the build Eclipse or STS was not clean.  The workaround is to make "project > clean" and force a redeployment to this package.  The Java console must demonstrate that the 1.0.0 version has been deployed.  You can also see that in the complete log of the Virgin.

    Karl Diewald

I can get you a file you can enter organizing items 12 and also import (with no defects) in the first of 12 items Editor. But, it is

    with workarounds...

    1. your original MPEG2.ts must be fully compatible with the editor first of 12 elements. But I can't hold a MPEG2.ts my organizing items 12.

Besides, I see a problem integrating the organizing elements 12 of any MPEG2 file while I'm not having this problem with organizing items 9, 10 or 11.

Solution 1. Simply import the MPEG2.ts in first 12 items editor for your project. No thoughts of organizing elements.

    2. I've found that I can produce a very good quality AVCHD.mp4 of the MPEG2.ts using Movie Maker 2012 in Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

I find that I can take this AVCHD.mp4 in the first elements 12 without any problem. However, I can't take this AVCHD.mp4 in

First 12 items editor except IF I rename the .mov .mp4 file extension.

Solution 2. For goals in first 12 editor and organizer elements 12, convert your .ts in .mp4 with Movie Maker 2012, change the name of the file to .mov .mp4 extension and then import the .mov in first 12 elements or elements Organizer 12 or both without problem.

    3. maybe one step may be eliminated by converting the .ts in .mov directly with a program such as MPEG Streamclip.

    http://www.squared5.com/

Problems of Organizer 12 elements seem to go beyond the excuse of the lack of codecs. Still considering what to do with the organizing elements 12 in

in general. My old troubleshooting shall delete the settings file and create a new catalog don't work... as well as the flexibility to rename

extensions of files involved and right-click the thumbnail of the elements Organizer and select thumbnail update.

Please consult the bulletin and consider the foregoing and then let me know if everything above worked for you.

Right now I'm looking at your ts VLC for conversion .mp4 to try to determine what happened to you with it.

    Later.

    RTA

Add on... No matter what I do with your VLC H.264.mp4... the file import in first elements 12 change nuanced green or green video. I feel

the problem is in the video codec used. Replacing the file extension of .mp4, .mov here does not change the situation.
