Burn disk elements 9.0 images

Hi, I just upgraded to 7 elements 9 elements. I am confused on how to burn disk images. E7 made it easy but the option to burn a disc in E9 is no longer in the menu "file". Can someone help me? Thank you.

Try the following steps: -.

1. Select the images you want to burn.

2. go to "File"-> "copy/move to a removable drive.

  • where my Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 images are stored?

I feel like a fool, but I used Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 for years on my PC.  I put the software on an external hard drive that is separate from regular hard drive of my computer, thinking that if my computer goes down, my photos will be safe, assuming that the images were where I put all the software.  Well, my computer is dying, in preparation for a new, I wanted to "Save" my photos, I never tell Photoshop to do when he asked in the past because I think that the pictures ARE saved by being on this external drive.  Anyway, when I looked at the amount of memory is on this external drive (where I also copied my non-critical files from the image), I've seen some photo files but there is no way (depending on which is rated display and the amount of memory used) files of the actual image of my k 10 photos are on this extra external hard drive.  I then tried to 'save' in Photoshop, but he asked me everything first to search for the missing files, which gave rise to a lot of research and then Adobe "not responding."  FYI, when I opened my Gallery of Adobe Photoshop, I can see all my photos, including those that I have edited and saved in the catalog, I can pull things up by tag, etc., as if everything is 'there' and ok.  So, where the hell are the actual files for images in my Gallery of Adobe 'put' when I download in Adobe Photoshop?   I want to assure you that I have back up on something before I get rid of my current computer, but now I don't know where they are in order to save them!  Thanks for any help you can offer.  Sincerely, Luddite

Lots of questions here, let's go step by step.

To be precise, you put the 'library' (your image files) on your external hard drive. The 'software' is the program components itself. And Yes, your library is not affected by a failure of your main internal drive.

Well, my computer is dying, in preparation for a new, I wanted to "Save" my photos, I never tell Photoshop to do when he asked in the past because I think that the pictures ARE saved by being on this external drive.

Sorry, another definition of the word: a backup is necessarily a copy (in various forms, but a copy; for example, instead of a pure copy, you can have a zipped copy). This means that if your original disappears, your copy (backup) is available to restore the original. Regardless of the definition of the word, for you, this means that your external hard drive crash has no backup. You lose your entire library.

Anyway, when I looked at the amount of memory is on this external drive (where I also copied my non-critical files from the image), I've seen some photo files but there is no way (depending on which is rated display and the amount of memory used) files of the actual image of my k 10 photos are on this extra external hard drive.

You should be able to see your files of images from Windows Explorer. Your image files are probably under a single master file; This main folder has probably many folders full of files with the extension jpeg. Note that I recommend to set the properties of the files in Explorer to display the file extension. When you select the main folder in Solution Explorer and right-click to select "Properties", you will see the number of files and disk space for these images.

I then tried to 'save' in Photoshop, but he asked me everything first to search for the missing files, which gave rise to a lot of research and then Adobe "not responding."

It is a common situation when the files have been moved, deleted or renamed from the Explorer instead of the Organizer himself. It is strongly recommended to check periodically if the files are missing instead of wait for the moment should be safeguarded.

    Photoshop elements (PSE) knowledge base.

Anyway, even if you have "offline" files, the backup should work. The first step in the backup, calculate disk space needed to contain the copy of image files and the catalog (database) itself.

FYI, when I opened my Gallery of Adobe Photoshop, I can see all my photos, including those that I have edited and saved in the catalog, I can pull things up by tag, etc., as if everything is 'there' and ok.  So, where the hell are the actual files for images in my Gallery of Adobe 'put' when I download in Adobe Photoshop?

When you "import" photos in your catalog, image files are "downloaded" to your computer if it is copied from a card reader or the camera. No copy, if they are already in the drive of your computer. In both cases, an entry is recorded and listed in the catalogue with the location (path) of the file and a very small "thumbnail" is created and included in the vignette "cache" of your catalog folder.

When you browse your pictures, you always have the opportunity to see the "details", "information" for a given file, you know the location, the drive and the path where it is stored.

Just a comparison: a catalog in the Organizer, it's like the brochure catalog used for a Museum of painting. It tells you where to find a painting and shows a small image. If some tables is 'missing' at the Museum because they were absent during the restoration, you will continue to see the small images in the booklet. Ditto for the Organizer: moved the photo from the Explorer files will still show in the catalogue, but with a? sign.

  • I want to remove an undesirable element in an image PS CS5

I'll take a photo of a storefront.  I know that this photo will have poles in front of the store, I want to remove.  Not knowing how to do I searched and found info on ' Content Aware Fill '.  This is what I should use or are there more effective ways.http://ntt.cc/2010/11/12/25-so-amazing-photoshop-cs5-video-tutorials.html

    Thank you

    Mike

Content Aware Fill can often do an AMAZING job helping you remove credible of the elements of an image.  The other day, I removed a floor lamp that was more in addition to the top of a car, I photographed.  It has saved me a huge amount of time, fill in the trees and the clouds very credible.

But Content Aware Fill cannot do work perfect all by itself, in which case you may want to do some cloning or the use of the healing brush and Patch tool.  A look at the result of your criticism, because there is nothing worse than seeing a Photoshop shoddy or incomplete work in the press.

Sometimes there is not escape with the help of a bit of elbow grease, work out the details.  Do not hesitate to spend the time it takes to do a good job.

    Hello

CS5 is still able to burn disks BD5/9 on DVD - + r discs?

I burn mostly FULL HD AVCHD clips that are only 3-5 minutes.

I don't want to lose the BD media for only 3-4 minutes.

If still not BD5/9 disks, is there a "Preset" for her

or do you just burn the Blu - ray on a DVD - + r disc project?

Any help / advice is appreciated

    Thank you

    Jeffrey

    Have you tried?

    What happened when you tried?

AFAIK, you must say it again to create the structure of the files in a folder on your hard drive, then use something like the free http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download to burn this file on the DVD

On what computer operating system is your first items 11 running?

There's only burn to: ISO Image (25 GB) and the ISO Image (50 GB) only in the first 13 items version.

In first items 11 and 12 Windows, you will need to just burn: Blu - Ray (not burn on file or other) disc.

It is possible to obtain an ISO Image first elements 11 in conjunction with the phantom burner, and I wrote about it.

The foregoing applies to version 11 and such as defined in the blog post.

Please review and consider, and then we can discuss this further. I can simply details if necessary.

  • Disk utility cannot create image

I am trying to create a new disk image encrypted to store sensitive files I get only when I need to use them/it.

I can't get the disk utility to create a new image.  I use "File" > "New Image" > "Blank Image...". "If I leave all the settings in the pop missed up I get the error:"the operation failed with the State-5000.

Ideally, I want to create an image that I will eventually burn on DVD; If I change the settings:

    "image Format" = ' CD/DVD Master '.

    "size:" = "4.6 GB (DVD-R DVD - RAM).

"encryption:" = "128-bit AES encryption (recommended).

I get the error: "the operation failed with the State 13.

    Anyone know what these errors?

The volume I am creating the image is using safe.

As far as I know,-5000 is the OS X value for a permissions access error. Check the location where you want to store your image is writable, and also there is enough free space. Try to create a smaller image to see if the free space is the problem. It might be interesting to try and 'first aid' on the right if the target disk.

  • Cannot burn disk of outlook express emails

I had problems to e-mail for a 1/2 years.  1 my hotmail email went to the outlook.com and my Verizon e-mail went to Apple Mail, they both used for

go to Apple mail and Outlook.com for a few years.  I posted this question a few months ago, how can I get two email accounts to go in the two Outlook.com

and Apple mail? He never responded.  Now, I can't burn emails or folders containing e-mail from Outlook.com on a CD.  I've done several times

with my Mac, now I can't.  Now I can't drag the e-mail or the file out to disk window Outlook.com page empty for burning.  E-mail or folder disappears once I have

move out of the outlook page.  I don't know another way to move an e-mail from outlook.com to the empty disk burn the folder.

I am able to burn the emails from Apple mail to disk.  The problem is that some of the attachments are not Outlook.com to Apple mail transfer.  Documents PDF added as files as attachments and inline images transfer Outlook.com in Apple mail. All other files added as attachments not transfer form outlook.com in the mail from apple.

I can't make sense all that you ask...

Lets start with why are you burning e-mail on a CD?

In this modern era, Flashdrives, your local computer and the mail server itself have plenty of space to store messages.

  • Manually burn the backup of system image on DVD

I did extensive research on the Internet on the subject, but I have not found an answer.

I created several distinct versions of complete system images different windows 7 on a disk external hard usb through the backup utility windows 7 change each time the destination folder name.

I know that I can use backup windows 7 to create the system directly on DVD several images, but I want to do after I created the images on the external hard drive, because I want to be sure to use many DVD burn only a single image, choose the one that it is the best.

Can someone tell me what is the correct way to burn on multiple images of a single DVD that I created on the external hard drive so that I can use these multiple dvds with the ERD in windows 7 to restore the image of the system?

    Thank you very much

    Best regards

    Michele

I can't quite follow your train of thought, but here are a few thoughts of my own:

    • I can't burn images of system for DVDs. There are three reasons:
      -There are too many drives.
      -You cannot reuse the disk.
-Burned DVDs are much less reliable than hard disks.
    • Each machine, I occupy I maintain three images on an external hard drive:
-L'image of 'Factory' (which allows me to go back to square one)
-The most recent image (which I renew once all the few months)
-L'image before the most recent image (which lets me go back in case the most recent image turns out to be defective.
    • Given the performance a little unreliable the ease of creating native images, I use a third-party product. Its features are far superior and it compresses files image by about 50%. The product allows me to burn a CD of 'rescue' that allows me to restore an image on a blank disc.

The above measures I would recover quickly from any disaster, no matter what it is.

  • HD images is not burning in HD on PE7 images

    Hello everyone from Adobe,

As background, im running first Elements 7 with a Canon Vixia HV30 camcorder. I posted a few threads before trying to get this to work on my Vista machine. Now that I have these questions included, I'll have another. I am able to capture HD in my Canon PE7 images, edit and do all that good stuff. But when I go to 'Share' the video and burn it to a DVD or even save on my HARD drive, the quality of end isn't in HD as it was when I was seized and editing. I'm not good with the ratio and all the technical things that come play with resolutions and all. I know, it's in my presets for my project, I chose 1080i 30. On my Canon, I'm shooting in the HDV30 (PF30). When I took out the video of the Canon the "COMP". setting was at 1080i. I wonder if there is something I should be doing before burning to a disc to burn HD has anyone else encountered questions like that? Thanks in advance.

    The f

If you burn it to a DVD, you do not burn in high definition. To burn a disc high definition you must burn it to Blu - ray disc... That is to say you need a blue laser Blu - ray burner and player Blu - ray to see the high definition disc. You can export high definition to a file and play on your computer. You must go to share > PC > MPEG and select either the pre-defined 1080i MPEG2 or H.264 preset 1080i.

  • How to use ken burns in a still video image?

I have a video clip. I move the playhead to a point in the clip and split the clip. I then do a freeze frame of the end of the first part of the split clip. This is where I met my problem. During the reading of the judgment on image, I want to zoom in on a region of the freeze frame, for example a face in a crowd, I want to stay zoomed in for a period of time and then zoom out to full frame, and then continue with the rest of the split image.  How can I do this? I tried to use Ken Burns but could not do work, I could zoom in but not hold the zoom, then zoom back.  Thank you.

To do this, use three consecutive copies of the still image.  Implement effect of the Ken Burn to the still picture to zoom in.  Now add a copy of this clip and reverse images of beginning and end of the Ken Burns effect by clicking on the double arrows in the Style far right button (see screenshot).

Now add a copy of a clip between the two clips and adjust the large frame of Ken Burns while she superimposes one smaller.  This gives you the extended break.  Adjust the length of the three clips and you're done.

  • Touch Panel (NI TPC-2206) Compact Flash disk of a computer imaging

    Hello

We use computers touch NI TPC-2206 is running a version pre-installed Windows software Standard 7.

What is the best configuration of software and hardware image and reproduce a or TPC - 2206 s Compact Flash drive?

We have many units TPC-2206, but one or two have become corrupt (we did not EWF until we start to treat about with it off).

We tried using an application called "Active Boot Disk" for a CF Reader image and apply it back, but it fails during startup. We found an article NOR on this subject, but he recommends the use of Ghost, which is no longer sold.

Is there a better configuration of the software imaging and drive to SEE that someone has tried and used and know works?

    Thank you.

It looks like a quick search shows that someone else may have a similar problem and there are things to try on the thread of Microsoft:

  • Startup/recovery disks and file system Image.

I know that DO START/RECOVERY disk can be made only once. But not preventing the system from IMAGE files, or would it be the RESTORATION of the file SYSTEM.

    How is my setup.

The original 1 TB HARD drive came with the PC will be the OS (INSTALLED at the factory) and RECOVERY. And this will be the storage. I'll install a 120 GB SSD to be used as C drive. I'll install the OS from the BOOT/RECOVERY disk on drive C for two reasons. To ensure that it is a CLEAN INSTALLATION and ensure that it is NOT of QUESTIONS if they work or not. Then they will be stored in a place course.

Then I would be able to do a SYSTEM RESTORE/RECOVERY file. And no longer on the internal memory or external storage.

Anyone with knowledge of this and a better solution I don't know.

Disc SSD 120 GB OS 'C '. 1 TB of disk storage HARD drive "D", (OS and RECOVERY will always be INSTALLED)

The question "what is prevented from make the SYSTEM IMAGE files" - image files may consist of training, but with different software.  Several solutions for this by choosing software that makes the image IE files: Norton Ghost, Acronis, Paragon, etc..

System Restore is a feature of Windows and does not make use of the same action, but it is useful in the return of the system to an earlier date.

  • camera disk (how to display disk on the computer images)

How can I get pictures on my computer from my camera drive

A lot of cameras works differently.  Some can be downloaded by linking a USB cable to the camera and then Windows Explorer to view and move the files (the camera should appear as a separate on the system drive).  Some require that you remove the disk from the camera and insert it into a drive that can accommodate everything first and then follow the same steps, once it appears (it must also propose as a different drive letter).  Other than that, the procedure is the same as moving or copying all other files (hold down the CTRL key and select the files you want to move, and then press CTRL-X to cut or Ctrl + C to copy - move to where you want and then press Ctrl + V to paste).

If this does not help, please transfer your question in images and videos Forum at: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistapictures/threads where people who speciallize in picture issues (such as unable to download pictures from a camera disk) will be more than happy to help you with your problem.  Please include any troubleshooting steps you have already tried to get the best possible service.
