  • Cannot burn audio CDs of 80 minutes in Media Player

I have a playlist that is 77 minutes.  I drag it to the burnlist and the last 2 songs are automatically moved to the disk "next".  How can I burn 77 minutes on my 80 minute cd? Any suggestions?

This is talking about the so-called "over burning."

    Vista burn Cd

'Hold more music on the disc by converting to a lower bit rate. If you want to fit more files on a CD or data DVD, you can convert the files to a smaller size before burning. In addition to be converted to a smaller size, the files are in MP3 format or WAV will also be converted to WMA format. If you burn files that are equal to or less than the speed of transmission that specify you, the files will not be converted. Note that the time required for burning will increase when you convert files, and audible audio quality can be diminished".

WMP (or any playback device) must support the file types that you add to the disc, such as WMA, MP3, JPEG, or Windows Media Video (WMV).  As long as Nero produces this type of output file (it will be in all file copy and burn them), you should be good.

  • Satellite A110-178 - burn audio CDs including CD-text

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite A110-178. I would like to create an audio CD (.wav files) including cd-text (Yes, data such as artist, album, etc.).

I tried to add cd-text using several different programs (Nero, to Acoustica CD burner, etc), but when I burn the CD, cd-text is not available.

Now, I have learned that your cd burner must also be able to burn cd-text. apparently, not all cd burners have this ability.
Do you know if the cd in my Toshiba burner is capable of burning these data?

    Thanks & best regards,
    Oliver

    Hello

As far as I know it of not possible to include the CD-text on Audio CD. That s me don't know.
On MP3 discs - it possible to s, s no problem.

In any case, to check this function you mean, it is important to know the exact model of the DVD/CD player. You can check in the Device Manager. Then you can ask Google for detailed specifications. :)

Uninstall Sonic. I recommend that you only use Revo uninstaller to uninstall.

Try another brand of support and if it still gives you this error, it is probably a hardware problem.

  • Media Player 11 will not burn audio CDs. He will prepare the burn list, write the first song on the disc then finalize the disc then error code appears and the disc is completely clean

    Hello lauraleeshook,

Since you've already tried the FIXIT, I suggest that you reinstall Windows Media Player 11, as seems to be corrupt. You can reinstall it on top of the old installation, except if the installation requires that you uninstall.

  • (Redirected) Burn audio CDs from downloaded files

Hello all: I have an Inspiron 2014 3647. The drive is a TSST corp DVD +-RW SH - 216DB. I'm considering buying a program that is sold as downloads of MP3, 21 CD and he's too good a deal to pass up. With beyond DELL desktop computers, I have burned a certain downloads. It's been a while and I don't think as intuitive that I used to do, I don't think now that I can handle the job without your help, although I could call the DELL technical support and ask for their help. I teach you rather your advice to deal with someone in another country who is not clearly understand. I don't have a problem with that when they take possession of my pc to fix all that and sometimes you get a tech that focuses on the task and rarely speaks. Then you get a curious tech that peppers you with dialogue while it works. This is nice 'n' quiet! (Sorry for the hike).

If I remember, I first create an empty folder on the desktop where will be placed the downloads from the link provided. Then what? I remember something about zip files that require a decoder to decompress the files. That's all that I can remember. Please fill in the blanks with the technical jargon.

I'll wait for answers prior to ordering when a response contains details, I should ask the seller. Thanks in advance.

  • Problems with audio CDs, burning on Windows 7 with VMWorkstation 9

I can not burn audio files with my current setup using VMWare 9.0.2

The host OS is Windows 7 (x 64) and the guest operating system is Windows 7 (x 64). On the host, I can create audio CDs using Windows Media Player or Nero 9 Essentials.  When I try the same operation on the client, both programs cannot write to the audio CD.  The host drive is a SATA Blu - ray burner.  I connected it to the virtual computer as a SCSI disk using these settings and Legacy Emulation is turned off:

    SCSI1.pciSlotNumber = "224".

    SCSI1.sasWWID = "50 05 05 6 d 66 52 4 b 50.

    SCSI1. Present = 'TRUE '.

    SCSI1.virtualDev = "lsisas1068".

    SCSI1:0. Present = 'TRUE '.

    SCSI1:0. FileName = "G:".

    SCSI1:0. DeviceType = "cdrom-raw"

I tried writing files of data of the virtual machine on a CD in the drive to Blu - ray in the host using either Nero 9 Essentials or directly with Windows 7 and do drag characteristic and files data write and verify correctly in the virtual machine.

As a test, I borrowed a USB DVD drive and plugged directly into the running virtual machine.  After Windows 7 it is detected in the virtual machine, I tried Windows Media Player and Nero 9 Essentials to burn audio CDs from the prompt and it has worked.

What should I do for the virtual machine to make it work with the internal drive to the SATA controller when creating audio CD?

This is certainly a bug with Audio CD burning.

I have re-installed Workstation 7 and 8 of the workstation and verified that the problem did not exist in older versions.

I tested with 9 Workstation, workstation 10.0.1 and fails audio CD burning.

This was reported as a VMWare bug (13403576911 application) to build 10.0.1 and although it might not be replicated at VMWare, they have managed to fix the problem and I confirmed the fix works on my hardware.  The fix should be in the next update of VMWorkstation which I guess will be 10.0.2

  • Windows XP Windows Media Player 11 won't burn Audio CD from Playlist but Windows Media Player 9 burn playlist

I'm trying to burn an audio cd using a playlist and the Windows Media Player built-in burning capability. I already went through the standard elements, changing CDs, shift etc.  The problem persists.

When I try to burn an audio cd from a playlist I get the following message "windows media player has encountered a problem when burning the file to disk"

I uninstalled Windows Media Player 11 and it is reverted to the version 9, version 9, I can burn audio CDs without problem and they play.

OK, I GOT AN UPDATE, these WMA files are sitting on a shared folder on a server.  Windows media player 9 is able to burn them without a problem. Windows Media Player 11 cannot until I have copy the files to the local disk.

Until Windows Media Player 11 changes forcing him not to work?

    Hi SupportTech2010,

    Method 1

Check if the problem persists in mode safe mode with network mode and post back with the details.

A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

    Method 2

If the problem does not persist in mode safe mode with networking mode, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. Click Start , and then click run.
    2. Type msconfig , and then click OK.
The System Configuration utility dialog box appears.
    3. Click the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services , and then click OK.
    4. When you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

    Method 3

If the previous step fails, then I suggest that you create a network drive in Windows and check if it helps.

I uninstalled my audio, without realizing that I have no sound. I know, stupid, however, that I did. How can I get that back? I tried to download but nothing seems to work.

VIA, as in the audio embedded... If the audio, is an expansion card, we could simply

move the map to another location of MB (stop), xp reinstall on

start-up... Being on board, System Restore should work. If the restoration is not an option,

then click on run, type: services.msc services.msc in msc, scroll down to the double line audio-mfg

Click the 'auto start' value the service starts, exit. Then, scroll down to windows audio,

do the same as above, when to exit.
