• Menu button highlight color is out of proportion with button

  I was wondering if someone can help me. I just compiled a DVD but I have a problem with the navigation buttons highlight colors.

  I posted a picture with the overview highlights button enabled so that you can see what is my problem.

  Act 1, Act 2, Extras are all the buttons, and as you can see when the button is highlighted is upward and to the left of the actual button.

  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem.

  I use Encore CS4 and Photoshop CS4

  I always use layers for highlights and had not even thought about it.

  You probably have 'Create text subpicture' selected (by default) for your button.  To do this, what you are describing.

  However, if you apply a drop shadow, still believes that and create the subpicture shift downward.  I checked if you use the option 'Create subpicture', but it has the same problem with the shadow (and probably other effects).

  If you want to have the text effect and text highlight, I suspect that you can do in photoshop.

  LOL - I don't even think to try it.  Just click right and saw nothing, so had a hunting quick tour and found other people had problems with it.

  Hi guys.  Looking for advice on how best to implement a button with a text label.  Initially, I created a rectangle object on a lower layer and with the text in the upper layer through the text tool.  When I group the two objects, and create the button, the text is readable in my InDesign (document) computer screen, but the minute I've put it on my iPad button becomes unreadable and pixelated.  I tried different approaches by moving the text outside the Group of button layer does not display the text at all.  Has anyone experience this problem?  If Yes, what is the best practice?  Thanks in advance.

  If the text is contained in the button, it will be rasterized at the correct resolution to be beautiful on your folio of target dimensions. Unfortunately we do not support vector in option for buttons.

  I do not know what your button design, but a common approach is to put the text of the button on the background of your page and put a transparent button on top of it to trigger the action. That way your text will be vector (in the PDF which forms the background of the page) and the button is just a transparent top hotspot.

  You might want to look at hiding and showing form fields by Thom Parker. You can also clear the text field when the radio button is changed.

  It is possible to create Rich Text signatures, but it requires a HTML file.
  I recommend you search the Internet for "create the signature outlook express" for more information on creating Rich Text signatures that Microsoft provides no support for the creation of HTML documents.

  Using Flash Pro CC and in the canvas of HTML output.

  I create a button with 2 layers; the background color and foreground text label.

  To publish, in position is correct but/lowest still shows black text.  Basically, if it changes, changes correctly, but the text is always black little matter what color I say that it is.  If I change the font style Over or the content happening correctly, but the color is always black.

  It happens even on a new project.
