  I have a few buttons that are in the shape of cloud. When I import from photoshop as png they some with a square transparent background.

  This makes the 'hand' appear outside the cloud forms, as well as inside them (as it should).

  So, I ask y at - it a way to reduce the button hit the region in flash.

  If they are symbols of button, you can draw a shape in the image clicked in the script for the button to define the area that will interact with the mouse.  An alternative for a button symbol is to simply use change it-> Break Apart command on the image and then use the eraser to remove what you can of the transparent part.

  If they use movieclips as buttons (not the symbols button), then you can only use images as backgrounds and have another alpha = 0 movieclip above it in the form of cloud do you use for the button.

  I'm new to layers. I'm sure that I understand, but I think I'm missing something...

  I want two layers for a button: layer Comp 1, I want the size of the text of the button for pt 20 and on layer Comp 2, I want be pt 15 the text of the button size.

  For some reason, the font size seems to affect all layers and not only the layer Comp 2.

  Am I missing something?

  Weird, but I don't think that record sized layers. If you want to do this, you most likely to have two layers of text and control by visibility.

• Custom for survey/quiz buttons?

  I'm new to Captivate by using C9 on 10 to win. I searched the forums for this issue, tried some things, but I can't always seem to get the results I need.

  Is there a way to customize the buttons in a poll/quiz slide? I want simply to be a rectangle with rounded corners, and on the steps of button control. (Something easy to do with objects in the content slides) There are custom image buttons that come with Captivate, but even when I find one with the right shape, I can not change the color or text at all. (Please correct me if I'm wrong here.)

  I tried the workaround solution I found on the forums, where you put the desired under a transparent button shape. The only problem was, there was no way to make the steps button works. Since I had to keep the real button size same-ish on the top of the form so users would click the transparent button or form (transformed into a button that does nothing) would allow key steps look good.

  Is there a way to make custom in polls/quizzes buttons that allow the stages?

  Buttons on question slides partition cannot be replaced by form buttons that's too bad. However, it is possible to use the other normal buttons: go to Manager of Style of the object, in the objects of the category Quizzing and replace styles by default current button that you want to. You can check on the slide master Quiz what it looks like, because the little insight in the OSM will probably not sufficient. The buttons are used right now, depends on the theme you are using (Object styles and master slides are always elements of the theme), and they use the same type of button.

• By reducing the window of Firefox, it totally disappears and cannot be enlarged again.

  After an unknown crash of Firefox, I restarted Firefox.
  The button appeared in the tasbar, but the window was never to be found.
  By clicking the button did not help.
  I used the windows Task Manager to maximize the window, which worked OK, but...
  When you click on the button 'size down' (upper right button medium), the window disappeared again and could not resurrected again in the normal way.

  So for now I'm stuck with a maximaized window, and I can't resize and move more...

  I am now using "Pale Moon" and since then I have not seen the problem again.

• How to convert a c# executable to an executable LabVIEW

  I have a program that was created in c# by an engineer who has left the company.  C# is not widely used among my company, but is LabVIEW so I would like to convert the c# program in a LabVIEW program somehow.  I worked with C language before, but not as .NET, Java, or c#.  I downloaded Studios Visual c# and I can compile the program, change the executable window button sizes, etc..  I'm starting to learn a little more about c#, but I'm starting from scratch.

  I am, however, quite familiar with LabVIEW programming and have been using it since version 6.1.  I heard that there is an easy way to access a c# program using LabVIEW, but I had no luck find out how it's done.  In the past, I've created a dll with a C program and consulted the DLLS in LabVIEW, so I might be able to do this with a DLL that I created in c#, but I don't know how to create a DLL in c#.

  Could someone help me please to find how to compile a DLL with c# code in Visual Studio 2008 so I can use it in LabVIEW?  I searched online and I always find something that asks me to enter a line at the BACK from "SCC" command prompt, which is not a recognized command.  I was expecting something simpler and more user-friendly.  Otherwise, I would like to know all the shortcuts that are easier to access my c# program through LabVIEW.

  I do not understand why you are doing a .NET library instead of a .NET application. I thought that the original goal was to deal with a c# executable. A .NET library is, well, a library, not an executable. Therefore, it does not (normally) a forms or user controls, then there would be controls and management functions to events for controls such as click on the button.

  As for your other questions: the controls would be adjusted in the same way as the code that indicates the text box. Simply change the node property to an entry instead of a reading. With regard to the definition of "sender" parameter, in my example, I just created a generic, empty sender. If you want to set this specific control, you need to get a reference to the control (like I did with the text box and use as first parameter of the table build).

  What about AutoIt: this is not intended to be used for access to .NET. The point of this is to completely ignore .NET and simply focus on the application as soon as it runs. It uses the low-level Windows API functions to simulate clicking buttons, text boxes setting, reading text boxes, etc. You can write a script and call it from LabVIEW or you can use the ActiveX of AutoIt interface to program the code in LabVIEW. For example, using the example that I had posted, a script that launches the application, click on the button and gets the value of the text box would look like this:

  Things '[class... '. ' is the ID of the access controls that are acquired using the AU3Info tool that comes with AutoIt. (In the documentation it says there are several ways to specify the ID.) The method of 'CLASS' is just one of them.) The same thing in LabVIEW would look like this:

  

  Note that this example uses ActiveX because it is the interface that exposes of AutoIt.  It seems a lot easier than .NET stuff.

• XP does not start on the first try to start

  I just reinstalled XP Pro SP3 on new 250 GB HD HD partitioned C - equal D. DΘmarrage initialization stops and I have to hit reset in order to get Windows to load. Any ideas on what I should do to correct so machine will start on the first try.

  If the CMOS battery on the motherboard is dead, it may take two or three attempts to start re-namely configuration of the BIOS of your system.  If your time is incorrect immediately at startup, this could be another indication.  Look on your motherboard for a button size battery shift.  Check the documentation for the computer from the manufacturer of your Web site.

  You can also try a chkdsk with the repair operation (/ R) option if you have problems with your file system.

• need to add virtual memory according to my computer, using XP, 32 bit, except 3 Pk

  My computer has been running really slow despite usin a system cleaning program. I went through and deleted a large number of * I didn't need this use to be my desktop computer which was connected to a file server. Now I use it at home as a stand alone PC. I've done everything I can and it is now telling me that I have to add virtual memory or more RAM. I have not studied the cost of more memory RAM, but money is a problem for me at the moment. How can I add virtual memory at this time? I have 19GB of available storage memory, that's not the problem. Sincerely, Joyce

  The amount of physical RAM you have (right click on my computer, then select properties)?

  What applications are running when you receive the warning "low virtual memory"?

  Check if Windows manages virtual memory (which should be) or if this parameter has been "twisted" to try to "tune up" your computer.  Right click on desktop, select Properties, and click the Advanced tab.  Click the settings button in the box of 'Performance '.  Click the Advanced tab, and then click Edit in the box of 'virtual memory '.  Make sure the system drive (generally c :)) is selected and then make sure that the option to "System managed size" button is selected.  If the box is unchecked, let and click Set and OK your way out.  If the managed system option button size is already selected, simply cancel your way.

  As a general rule, it is best to let Windows manage virtual memory, but you can read the material here to get some to understand what is going on:

• How to hide data in the table?

  I'm using LabWindows/CVI 8.5 and I have a question about the use of tables.

  The problem is this: in my table, I have 8 columns.  I have columns of chains, whole, and a column of buttons - so there is a button on each line.  I have some information about each line I don't want to display in the table, however, I would like this information to be associated with other information on this line.  Each line represents a high lack of information from a log file - level when the user clicks on the button, I want to be able to go to the specified file and extract more detailed information about this flaw and display it on another Panel.  "Hidden" information are (1) file identification number, and (2) seek-card value... or 2 integers.  My problem is how to have these 2 pieces of information available for each line, but they have to be seen by the user.

  There are two ways I see this, but I did not really understand how to make no more.

  (1) I could have each key also contain a string that includes the 2 pieces of information (for example, "32:125567"), so that when I click the button, the application can retrieve the string value of the key, analyse and extract integer values from two...  I've done this work - BUT the button actually displays the string containing the numbers!  Is there a way to "hide" this information contained in the button?

  (2) alternative... Is it possible to include columns 'hidden' in a table that can contain information - but these columns are not displayed.  For example, my table is currently 8 visible columns.  Could I somehow add a column for file identification number and a column for search-map and have these columns be hidden from view (but still accessible to the application)?  I don't see a way to do this, but I'm still very inexperienced using tables in L/CVI.

  Or you guys maybe you know a better way to do...

  Regarding your question 2, although it is probably replaced by my previous post, don't forget that a table can have more columns than those displayed on the screen.

  You can configure your table to have 10 columns, but only 8 shown (button ' size/scroll options' in table in the IUR editor properties); given that you can hide the horizontal scroll bar, even in this case you can store information in the table that are not accessible to the user.

• Lack of window adjustments Office

  On my Vista PC, I used to adjust variables Office when required, but now the icons and formulations have changed and this window is too absent.

  On the desktop, right click and click on customize and I used to get this window go appearance and advanced and many adjustments were available. Now this window is no longer available. The size of the scroll bar and the top right 'x' close button size could also be adjusted, but no more. The desired window is a bit the same as in on my XP Pro laptop.

  How can I get it back? Also, I think that the 'view' of PC has changed as in "Classic view or something, that may be the cause.

  I may be wrong here, but it looks like you may need to reinstall the driver of your video card.

  If you do, go to your manufacturer's Web page and download the latest version of the video driver for your machine.

  See if the settings you are looking for once you install it.

• How can we make the greatest Windows 7 calculator keys?

  It would be great comfort that we have the possibility to enlarge the buttons of windows 7 calculator. Personally, I'd rather have each button size 2 cm by 2cm.

  Most of the people not to click on the buttons, they just type the numbers on their keyboard instead.

  You can increase the size of all the buttons, including the Calculator buttons, if you want to.  To give this a try and see if you like, follow these steps:
  1 type dpi in your Start menu.
  2 - Click on the option that appears called make text and other items more or less
  3. fix the size you want, then click on apply to test.  You can always cancel it if you don't like it.
