By clicking a link once generates an infinite stream of tabs that I can't stop without closing Firefox

If I click on a hyperlink in a message on Thunderbird, I opened an infinite flow tabs on Firefox. What is going on? Yesterday, I was able to tabs close to close and stop the progression. today I had to close Firefox completely.
