By clicking a link once generates an infinite stream of tabs that I can't stop without closing Firefox
If I click on a hyperlink in a message on Thunderbird, I opened an infinite flow tabs on Firefox. What is going on? Yesterday, I was able to tabs close to close and stop the progression. today I had to close Firefox completely.
This can happen when you set Firefox as the program to open a content type, it can actually handle. Please visit this help article on how to clear this setting: Firefox opens several times empty tabs or windows after clicking on a link.

Opening links in a new tab will also load the link on the problem of temporamental currnt tab that comes and goes. Sometimes using links from google as well. Never had this problem before. Also the SafeSearch feature on google has itself locked on strict, not too much problem, but has happened at the same time my links and tabs not working like I want.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

I am trying to open a link from an email and get a box that says "can not be done, check with administator.
"operation can not be performed, check with administator.
I bet he has not said who and what he says is "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.
If this is the case a Google or Bing on this error message would have given thousands of messages all ask the same question and all with the same answer...

Please a) quote the correct error when you post here and not a paraphrase and b) Please use Google or Bing (or another search engine) first of all that most of the questions have already asked and answered.

Thanks for the help, but it's a good answer was not the solution, after a search much more, I discovered that somehow (someone?) changed my default provider form IE, so it would not connect whenever I clicked a link and nor was he running modules. This changed and viola, I now have access once again, Mike J.

Due to vision problems, a long time ago I changed the background color for the yellow poster like stark not white. The old system of color choice was fairly easy to change, and one time in a whike I let the colors of the site work like some things were hidden using my colors.
Several months ago an update of Firefox threw all access learned and now I can not for the life of understand me. I'm more able to perform any color choice. By clicking on the MACHINE shows content but everything is yellow and there is nothing to change.
An update?

Adding a patch complex to solve a simple function seems to be gilding the lily. Firefox you address the simple check box to change the colors.
Hi John, here on the support forum, we work with the version of Firefox that we know today. You can submit proposals for amendment of functionality for future versions of Firefox here:
https://input.Mozilla.org/feedback
It took several years for Firefox to get full support for users of high contrast themes, so I do not expect this choice to be removed. However, if you think it might be facilitated so that everyone can understand, please do not hesitate to use the entry site to suggest another way to implement the selection.

I use the Bing search engine, and when I click on the Bing images section in the search results page, I'm redirecteld to google images. How can I stop this from happening?
You can also check for suspicious extensions or recently installed unknowns.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

Hello
I bought a used desktop computer. After setting it up again to what I had before I find the computer comes on every Saturday night at the same time. How can I stop this from happening?
If anyone has an answer for me please give him in singles and not "computer language".
Thank you
GunterYour best course of action would be to do a complete new installation of Windows. Not sure how this computer has been maintained or used. She could have anything whatsoever thereon against malware of illegal material.
Although the automatic turn on every Saturday night is probably trivial (for example, some application checking to see if there are updates), it could be malware "phone home" with your personal information (bank accounts, passwords, etc.).
This TechNet article provided by 'Support' engineer is not likely to be useful for you. For Windows XP (you posted your question in a Windows XP forum), open scheduled as follows:
Click Start > click on all programs > point to Accessories > tap System Tools > and then click scheduled tasks.
Review each of the tasks listed to determine what they are doing. You can then decide if you want to remove one of them. You should consider, however, that there may be other mechanisms that cause your computer turn on as you describe.

Will someone please send me an email address I can send screen dumps to. Photos with descriptions are much better than anything I can write here. I really want to use FF, so please help me.
PS: I updated the exceptions in the firewall and Antivirus, then restarted, but still no luck
I now go to bed until my wife wakes up and repudiate me. It is 02:19 hours here.

This problem began only after I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox.
Hi Doug,.
Sorry about that. It might be this time your home page and the Firefox start page are defined as your home page.
Here's how to reset your home page:
- Open your home page and close other tabs
- Click on the
menu button and click on Preferences
- In the Preferences window, click on general
- Click the use current Pages button
I hope this will fix things. Let us know if it works!
Best,
Jayelbe

Neither pc had this problem until after the update 3-4 weeks ago.
I don't know if it's still causing a problem, but the McAfee site Advisor has been reported to cause problems with the back button, the Advisor site disabling or uninstalling it can solve the problem.
I had the Counsellor installed but site that you do not at the present time.

all others so far seem to fill. KB 2530548 tried to install several times. shows that I need to be updated after every stop.

I had a lot of difficulties recently after the installation of the CC 2105 - which I didn't.
I had to darn well all remove, then reinstall and all my settings were lost - despite specifying that I needed.
I have quoted me a page that does not give me the correct information on the CS6 restoration.
Currently, the acrobat program I have is total xxxx and has been for weeks.
I don't have time to continue to try to do things to work as changes to adobe.
Today I planned some time to export a bunch of files with Bridge, however, and here, fuction of export is no longer available in the version I have--well, it's a great way of really & & & & & someone immediately.
What I would like is a simple link to a Web page that allows me to re-download apps CS6. Please don't tell me that these are available in previous via CC versions because they are not.
I don't want the last acrobat and I want to be able to use the bridge in the way I want - I don't want to use photoshop for this purpose.
Can someone from adobe please just give me a link to download the CS6 apps, especially to fill, so that I can use the software that I pay correctly.

Thank you and my apologies for the tone.
