  In case anyone is wondering why not * convert the file to PDF format instead of print to PDF, it is simply because the conversion to PDF does not apply the margins of custom page and custom page breaks.   Apparently, the Adobe PDF printer relies on (default?) web browser print settings. In my case, since I use both FF and IE, I open the file-> Page Setup in both browsers and set all the fields blank/Empty. Now, Adobe PDF print without headers/feet of any non desired.

  Personally, I would say a pilot error or a problem with the program you are printing from, as the cause of printing problems you encounter.

  I suggest that you run the print and Scan of the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. Send me the results.

  Also, try printing from another program and let me know if print jobs will print correctly also.

  I could do this drag-and-drop in Acrobat 9 Pro, but it doesn't seem to work in Acrobat Pro XI.

  As try67 said, I have not found a way to have the use of the A9 a different name. On a Mac, because the destination folder is "just there" the most straightforward approach is to highlight the file Untitled Pages.pdf extracted, press ENTER, and then type (or paste) the new name.

  I find that if you open the fragment and select one option other than the first item and go to an another jsff by clicking on a different link, then navigate back, still the previously selected item is selected, as opposed to the question that I would be default.

  I've been Googling away, but did not found a snippet of code that allows me to reset, or return to the first element in the set default control.

• Headers and Page numbers

  So, I'm super new to inDesign and layout in general. I'm doing my first book and learn a LOT from my mistakes.

  So here is the current problem. I don't think page numbers and headers before doing just about everything else. I'm almost done about everything else. I have the project as "spreads" because I had no idea who was a thing to differently than a few 'pages '. I did not masks, and I'm under the impression that it's too late to do it now. So I'm imagining having to manually in a little box of text in a line at the top of each page to put the header and page number. But, I can't imagine how to do this when there is already text in the text box full main page. Is there an easy way to take care of this? I have even how this the hard way?

  Oh yes, I use CS3.

  It's never too late to add the automatic numbering of pages to a master page. Most likely all your pages use currently the Master has, so add your text block and add the current page marker. That's all it takes.

  I've created a simple interactive report. I also deleted for the end user to modify the "lines per page' in the interactive report. How can I change this report (as a developer) to display only the 10 lines per page. I've been looking around but can't see where to change this setting.

  First enable end user can define lines per page. (that you have disabled)
  Run the page. The lines per page value to 10.
  Save the default report in the action menu.

  Then clear that end users can set not lines per page.
