I am looking for a way to do it, but after registering the PL/SQL in the table of this way of working always returns: "Page not found".

    I need to create lines to two or three other table also when a new line is created in the main table. What is the best practice for this feature?

    The 2 options that I know:

    1 create a trigger on the main table and the appeal of trigger for inserting rows in other tables.

    2. call a PL/SQL of EntityImpl procedure after the permanent data is committed to the table. (If this is the best approach, could you please let me know how to get there)

    I am cretaing a file in a directory but would like it to automatically write to a directory to archive as well.

    Could use either 2 utl_file.put_lines to 2 separate directories or 1 utl_file and cal script to archive files in another directory. ?

    Hi all:

    I have a report with a link in a column, which you take to another page and passes the values to this page, but also need to link, run a stored procedure before you go to the other page.

    In the Forum, I found a case similar to this one, but none of the examples is clear to me that I'm doing this. It seems that the target of the link must be URL, and also I have to call the stored procedure with a javascript function.

    My questions are:
    -Is the best way to do what I need?
    -How should be the syntax of the link that takes me to another page and run the "procedure".
    -How and where I put the "javascript" function to execute the "stored procedure".

    In your case, then you can only have a page based on conditions request = expression1, expression1: NAVIGATE... then a branch of the page to go to the desired page, also with the same conditions

    I'm not sure what examples you're talking about, that you provide no link; but you mention calling the stored procedure of javascript, so would probably involve some AJAX, but is not necessary IMO.

    What is a PL/SQL Package?
    A package is a schema object which includes subroutines, variables, and logically related PL/SQL types. Packages have two parts: a specification (spec) and a body. Sometimes, the body is unnecessary. The specification is the interface to the package. It declares the types, variables, constants, exceptions, cursors, and subprograms that can be referenced from outside the package. The body defines queries for the sliders and the code for the subprogrammes.

    Benefits of the PL/SQL Packages
    Packages have a long history in software engineering, offering important characteristics for a reliable, maintainable, and reusable code, often in team for large systems development efforts.

    Modularity

    Packages allow you to logically encapsulate Associates types, elements, and subroutines in a module named PL/SQL. Each package is easy to understand, and the interfaces between packages are simple, clear and well defined. This facilitates the development of applications.

    Easier application design

    When you design an application, all you need initially is the interface information in the package specification. You can code and compile a spec without his body. Stored subprograms that reference the package can then be compiled as well. You should not set the package body entirely until you are ready to complete the application.

    Information masking

    With packages, you can specify which types, elements, and subprogrammes are (and accessible) public or private (hidden and inaccessible). For example, if a package contains four subprogrammes, three can be public and one private. The package hides the implementation of the subprogramme private so that only the package (not your application) is affected if the application changes. This simplifies maintenance and improvement. Also, by hiding the implementation details of the users, you protect the integrity of the packaging.

    Feature added

    Sliders and packed public variables persist for the lifetime of a session. They can be shared by all the subprogrammes that are running in the environment. They allow you to manage data in any of the transactions without storing in the database.

    Best performance

    When you call a subprogram packaged for the first time, the whole package is loaded into memory. Subsequent calls to related subprograms in package require no disk i/o.

    Packets stop cascading dependencies and avoid an unnecessary recompilation. For example, if you change the body of a packaged function, Oracle does not recompile other routines that call the function; These routines only depend on parameters and return value that are declared in the specification, so they are recompiled only if the specification changes.

    I've seen several links and options for calling a PL/SQL shell script. I was wondering if there is something like DBMS_SCHEDULER. CREATE_PROGRAM-> executable that calls an external program in 11 GR 2.

    Here's what I have to. I have 11 GR 2 database with Dataguard. I have START triggering who begins a DBMS_SERVICE when the role becomes PRIMARY. In the same instance, I would stop the VIP on the former primary database and start the VIP on the new primary database.

    Hi, I'm calling a PL/SQL function that inserts data into a table from a BPEL via the DB adapter. The process, when I test it, get an error runtime as follows:

    * Exception occurred when the link was invoked. Exception occurred during invocation of the JCA binding: "JCA binding run operations reference 'EmpRegister' have to: connection problem component binding JCA.". JCA Binding component is unable to create an outgoing connection of JCA (CCI). AddEmployee:EmpRegister [EmpRegister_ptt::EmpRegister (InputParameters, OutputParameters)]: The JCA Binding component could not establish an outbound connection of JCA CCI due to the following problem: BINDING. Error of JCA - 12510 JCA adapter localization resources.     I know, it looks like a mistake to JCA adapter, but when I do a synchronization of the table DB to DB with this factory of connections, no problems occur. Is there any procedure I should follow when mapping the input with db schema data?
