Camcorder to transfer the tapes video 8mm Hi8 to DVD

Hello
What best models of camcorder Hi8 CCD - TRV or Hi8 DCR - TRV (stereo) can use to transfer on several tapes DVD video 8mm Hi8 recorded in a Hi8 CCD-TR805? I hope that your quick help. Thank you.

None of the older Hi8 range products from Sony, the two camcorders or stand-alone bridges should do a great job. However, if your original camcorder is in good working order, you should be able to do a direct transfer in real time without having to buy an additional playback equipment.

Any camcorder without a USB output or i-Link can be connected via RCA video and audio of the catch to a card entry TV capture on your computer. You can save the result in real-time and then create DVD with the software on your computer. You can also use a DVD as the VRD - MC6 DVDirect recorder to record output directly to a DVD without a computer.

  • How can I get the best video quality on a DVD from .avi files?

This first effort with elements first 13, I had a company to convert my movies to 50 (8mm) in digital files (.avi).  But the company cannot know how their sequence so I will try to make the DVD 'movies '.  I want to make for parents to use (so they work in most consumer DVD players).

I tried to make Blu - ray movies, but (using M-record) they wouldn't even play in my Blu - ray player.  Then I tried to make AVCHD movies, but 31% of the process, I get a "transcription error."  So I made DVDs with the program, but the quality is (I think) even worse 8mm films they came.  They appear more grainy for me until I discovered the files on the computer.

Question 1: Can I do better?

1a: If that AVCHD would be better, is my problem only to use the right type of disc?

Question 2: Each film PREL only 30 minutes and uses less than 2 GB to the drive.  Assuming that better quality images would use even less than 4.7 GB, is there an easy way to combine two movies PREL?  Making each .avi files has been a challenge...

Very well! This is a video of good quality, editable file. However, this is a standard definition video file and it will not produce a good high-def or BluRay video.

That said, when you add the video to your timeline first 13 elements, the program should implement your project according to the specifications of your video. And, When you do, you should be able to easily output a very nice DVD to research.

  • How to make the tapes to convert VHS to DVD on my computer?

I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC - dv7-3165DX.  I am trying to convert to DVD VHS tapes, but my DVD player is not compatible with the PC connection.  If not, how can I enter those VHS tapes in the PC to burn them on a DVD?

    Clincks, welcome to the forum.

This is a capture device that should be what you need.  If you need more assurance that it will work, I suggest contacting the Service customer of Diamond.  Simply connect it to your laptop through one of the USB 2.0 ports.  There are many other features available, that seemed to be one of the easiest to use.

Please let us know if this solved your problem or not.

While moving recently, I came across my old digital camcorder Sony TRV620E and strips. I thought it would be a good opportunity to transfer the contents of the tape on my Mac I-... It is not as simple as it may seem however. The Mac I will not recognize the camera, which I have connected via an out DV link and a usb connection.

I also downloaded software HomeMemories of Sony, which seems to be as good as a chocolate teapot. In any case, I could not download the content, so I've been in conversation with Sony about it. Bit of a waste of time really, after about 3 months of back and forth emails they say that:

    1. 1. digital Camcorder (DCR-TRV620E) is not compatible with OS El Capitan.
    1. 2 PlayMemories House 3.1.00 or later version is compatible with OS El Capitan.

However, performance is not guaranteed for all computers.

As a result, please try another PC with a different OS.

I don't have access to another PC, only I have a Macbook Pro with exactly the same software as my Mac. They run El Kapitan 10.11.5 and I - Movie10.1.2, HomeMemories 3.1.00.12180 and I also have an old copy of the Toast Titanium 11.

Is it likely that say a DV FireWire or link Thunderbolt will make a difference?  The latest version of the film I is also not compatible with the camera, according to Apple.

This camera needs a Firewire cable.

  • Transfer of the old videos on DVD with Satellite M70

Is it possible to connect a VCR to a Satellite M70 in order to transfer the recordings on video tape to DVD? If this is the case, should what cable I?

    Hello

Since your laptop is only equipped with a TV OUTPUT, you cannot just plug a VCR on your machine, because to do this you will need a video in.
The only chance you have is to buy an external video acquisition for PCMCIA or USB card.
With these you´re of video capture card capable of receiving video signals outside and check/change their.

Here´s a link that shows you an example of what I mean:

  • Download the digital video from a camcorder using Windows Live Movie Maker

Tried to upload digital videos from a camcorder using Windows Live Movie Maker. To plug my camcorder, a dialog box "import video" appears. However when I name the video, and then click then I get an error message "there is no tape in your digital video device. To continue, insert a tape with recorded video you want to import. I tried eject Strip and re-integration, restart the camcorder and PC without success.

OK, I found my problem. I was getting the same error "There is no cassette" who you were. Here's what fixed it:

    1. Right click on my computer
    2. Properties
    3. Device Manager on the left
    4. Find the firewire card in the list (mine was the only thing listed under IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers)
    5. Make a right click, properties
    6. Driver tab
    7. Update driver
    8. Browse my computer for driver software
    9. Let me pick from a list of device on my computer drivers
    10. Choose one that has '(legacy)' at the end
    11. Click Next until it is done.

After that the error has disappeared and I was able to capture video with success.

    Hope this helps,

    -Brett.

  • Transfer the 'Image' settings between video clips

    Hello community

    Concerns: First items 12

If I have a project with various clips in my time line and you want to transfer settings (color, tone, gamma, brightness, contrast, etc) from one clip to another - how can I do? Rather than address each item one by one, I'm looking for an easy way to transfer the settings of other clips. I am aware of the fact that it works with effects and I also know that I could use a track of effects affecting the full clip - but I'm specifically looking for a solution concerning the adjustments only (i.e. seetings for photo quality).

Sometimes, I cut a clip in various parts only to find out later that I would like to adjust the image quality. Instead of a single source file, however, I now have various clips in front of me and I therefore apply the same settings identical to several clips (there is more no 'a source file")

Does anyone know how to do? Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks and regards /abel

Right click on the clip you want to copy attributes, then select copy.

Then select the clips on your timeline that you want to apply these attributes for, right-click and select Copy effects and settings.

    Easy cheese!

  • Satellite R630-13R - HDMI output only for the audio/video receiver?

I have the opportunity to play the DVD on my Satellite R630-13R with the release of his passing through the stereo jack to my amp, but now that I have to buy a new amp, I've been watching AV receivers that have the HDMI inputs and pass through the image.

I won't have a TV screen connected for a while (until what it comes to upgrade), but can I enjoy the HDMI sound transformed in the audio/video receiver in the meantime?

    Hey,.

Yes, you can use the HDMI connection to an AV receiver as HDMI transfer its too.

I found a thread similar to the receiving subject audio/video HDMI. Maybe it of useful for you also if you have any problems with correct configuration:

  • How to transfer the movie to the flash drive

I am trying to transfer the video I made using imovie on a flash drive, but it cannot be copied, the film is the 5.62 GB and Flash drive is 32 GB.

Probably, your USB is formatted for a PC and not Apple. Most of them is set form in format FAT 32 PC, or something similar.  This format limits any file size to 4 GB.   It must be in MAC OS extended (journaled) format. Order/Get Info lets you know how it is formatted.    If it's not MAC OS extended (journaled) Apple, you can reformat the drive to MAC OS extended (journaled) using the utility disc on your Mac application.    You must first remove all files from your USB drive to a different drive, because reformatting the flash drive will delete all the files it contains.  Once the flash drive is reformatted, you will be able to tailor your movie on this subject, assuming that other files do not use disk space.

  • How can I use the audio/video Sockets front?

I have a desktop Pavilion HPE - 480 t and can't find documentation anywhere on how to use the autio/video taken before.  When I plug in a device no software will automatically load.  Is there a bundled program that recognizes them?

Hello azbard, you might be able to use the recording feature in Windows 7 to save from the back Line In jack.

Plug your tape on the back Line In jack, and then go to the Control Panel, sounds and in the recording tab, check if the Line In Jack shows any connected device.

If so, you can go to start ORB, all programs, accessories, Sound Recorder and see if you can save the tape.

It can work either, but may be worth a try.

  • Transfer the DCR-vx2100e on computer

How I would approach transfer MiniDV DCR-vx2100e cassettes to computer? I tried to plug in the firewire cable, even if the computer will not read anything.

Please I'm in need desperate help and I passed the age trying to get this to work.

Thanks for your post and welcoe on the forum for discussion of use.

The DCR-VX2100e is equipped with S video connections / V connection in addition to the iLink connection. You can use one of these methods to connect and transfer the content depending on the video card in the PC.

  • Aspect wide photo after you transfer the images from the camera

Original title - aspect wide photo after download

After you transfer the pictures from my camera to my PC, subjects are not as the original photo taken.  People who are really thin show also stubby. I used another PC and downloaded normally photos.  I used the photo of different programs, from Kodak, Roxio, windows Photo Gallery. I put my card directly into the PC with the same results. I tried to change my video setting and updated my NVIDIA card driver. Change the size of the photo doesn't do any good change just the measure of perimeter. I know that I can edit the photos, so people watching more thin but can you imagine doing that in every pic I take. I hope someone can help

I finelly solved the problem by playing with the resolution until I found the appropriate settings. How to change the setting, I don't know, but as long as it works I can live with that.

If your computer has Bluetooth installed, there will be a label on the bottom of the system with the word "Bluetooth" and the Bluetooth logo on it. If the label is not present on the system or not Bluetoothlist, it is not equipped with a Bluetooth module.

  • Add the YouTube video poster

The DPS documentation recommends to place an image of the poster for the embedded YouTube videos:

    • In InDesign CS6 or later, you can use the command insert HTML code to insert a clip from YouTube embed code. For best results, edit the YouTube embed code to include "scr =https:/ / www.youtube.com ' instead of ' src = / / www.youtube.com.» The overlay set to Auto Play and add a picture of the sign in front of the overlay.

Can someone please explain exactly how to do this?

When I put manually the poster on top of the overlay of YouTube, it simply disappears on the device once the overlay is loaded. And using a DCL of two States, as Bob advocated in the tips of DPS, means that the user must click twice: once to move to the State second of MSO and reveal the YouTube video and a second time to play the video itself.

Is it possible to place a poster that users can simply tap to play the video?

    Steve

Right, you want to leave autoplay works to start layering. Otherwise, the user will need to type to start the overlay and view YouTube poster and then tap again to play the video.

Another way to think of it there are 2 posters: a poster of load and a poster of YouTube. Load poster prevents the screen black while Flash as the superposition of loads (and it is displayed in navigation mode). The YouTube poster with the red arrow is that users press to start the video.

If you don't feel like it, stream videos to a Web site rather than from YouTube.

  • Premiere Pro 7.0 passing random images of the original video

Here is one of the many problems that I am running. When I import original video in Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0 it still leaves a few images in random places throughout a clip (I guess this is what is referred to as loss of images).

I first noticed this when I went to sync the files mp3 audio, which are imported separately, music videos and found that the audio clips are a few more pictures of time; and the audio and video do not match upward.

I was hoping someone could shine a light on why this is happening and what can be done to remedy this. I've tinkered around with different parameters when loading a new project without success.

I import the video original of a folder on my desktop. It is the MPEG-2 format and came from my Sony Handycam DCR SR45 camcorder. Here are the properties of the video according to a video player on my computer.

    Video:

    MPEG-2 video

    720 x 480 (16:9)

    29.97fps 9100 Kbps

    Audio:

Dolby AC3 48000 Hz stereo 256 Kbps (this audio does not appear with the imported video files, that's why I import separate mp3 audio)

    P. S.

I have recently been informed that the MPEG-2 files are not ideal for video editing. I also heard that Premiere Pro does not recognise AC3 audio, that's why I import the audio separately as mp3 files that I've created in another program. I also was told that the camera I use is not ideal for for editing.

So if someone sees no reason to disagree or agree with these statements, please let me know. But, as for now, I currently have an existing video from this camcorder that I MUST do work in Adobe Premiere Pro, so please help me work with what I got. Thank you.

The only thing I see wrong with this DV - AVI file is that the Audio is 44.1 KHz and there should be 48 KHz, but all eyes of another good, and CODEC is installed on your machine, so that's not the question. The Audio is not a problem with the playback of the video, and PrPro can work with the 44.1 KHz. just for next time, bump that up to 48 kHz.

OK, now let's step back and look at the source of MPEG-2 - one that has been converted to the DV - AVI file. There must be something before the DV - AVI, which is a problem.

You have the ability to download both MPEG-2 and DV - AVI to a website, I would like to download and experiment with them?

    Good luck

    Hunt
