    This could be a software problem I mean it is possible that the system could be confused to you that it is not impossible? In my short life, I noticed several times this dirty registry may cause issues such as

    Well, maybe you should try to clean the registry using some tools such as CCleaner for example before you install the driver if this is not enough, then I would try to reinstall the image of Toshiba

  • Device debugging for the camera application

    Hello

    I would like to perform device debugging for my camera application.

    Problem is that my application seems to work fine on the emulator, but I do not get the desired result on the device.

    But when I try to debug the application I can't access the camera. Whenever I try to access the camera or any other multimedia file I get a warning that I need to first unplug the unit.

    Any suggestions would be very helpful.

    Thank you

    Saket

    Hi, if you want to access a file media, first of all, go to options > memory > mass storage Mode support > power off.

    and now try to debug your application.

    PD: Sorry for my English.

  • How to exit the camera application properly

    I start the camera application by doing this

    Invoke.invokeApplication (Invoke.APP_TYPE_CAMERA, new CameraArguments());

    The camera app starts. I take a picture.

    I am on a 9000 "BOLD".

    You use the camera you will find that you can not close the app until you get rid of the image sets that you have just taken.

    For example
    take photo

    Picture is a static view of the screen

    If you press close (close menu) it does ' t go away.

    If you press the ESC key, then press close he disappears.

    now in my application, I need to simulate this but I can't seem to get out

    I want to launch the application.

    Press the trackball to take the picture

    Save the photo.

    Then exit.

    I inject

    EventInjector.invokeEvent (new EventInjector.KeyEvent (EventInjector.KeyEvent.KEY_DOWN, Characters.ESCAPE, 10));

    EventInjector.invokeEvent (new EventInjector.KeyEvent (EventInjector.KeyEvent.KEY_UP, Characters.ESCAPE, 30));

    And it closes ok

    BUT... when I opened the camera (for the second time) the image is on the screen, the last shot.

    So, it didn't really come out. The user must press the ESC key stupid and then take another picture.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    You test this in the simulator of BlackBerry or on a real BlackBerry "BOLD"?  What version of BlackBerry device software you are using (beneath Options, about)?  Is that you inject events for all the actions in your list or just the ESC key to exit?

  • How to use the camera application

    original title: using the camera application

    According to me, that there is a photo on Metro Screen App.  Is there a documentation or a tutorial on how to use it and what it is for?

    When I click it, I see three small icons in the bottom right...  Camera, Timer and video options.  I don't know what to do with them.

    I see me, looking me in the opposite direction, that seems odd.  I found a folder in my pictures, to my surprise, with pictures of me and two videos! I think that pictures should occur when I click on the screen, but I have no idea how I created a video or how to do it again.

    This looks like a fun app but I need help to use.  I couldn't find anything in the help files.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    MaryLou

    Note: I probably don't not select the category of app so if not, please move this where it needs to go.

    Dena, regardless on the computer because it is an external Kodak camera.  I know how to use the camera itself, but the camera application that appears on the screen of metro is NOT just easy to use.  It shows 3 small icons, one is a timer, the other is for the videos and I forgot what the other one was for.

    In any case, I finally thought to it.  To use the camera, you click on it, then you must click on the screen to start the camera going.   I'm not sure that the timer is for, but again, once you click on the timer icon, you click on the screen to start the timer.

    My camera screen is not screen mode have won 8 metro.  The camera works fine via desktop applications.  I have it working in the version of Win 8 of Skype as well.

    I like to win 8 but it is so lacking in the documentation that it is difficult to learn to use the new ways of doing.

    Thanks for the reply but as I said... has been resolved.

  • Are there plans to add several adjustments of parameters to the camera application?

    Hi, I used Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and the Tech Preview of Windows 10 on a screen multitouch Fujitsu with integrated webcam.  Using the Fujitsu YouCam 3 application, I can get the camera to operate in the right-hand mode only AFTER going in the settings and choosing "FLIP Vertical".  Then he works in Fujitsu's application, but NOT in the camera of Microsoft or any other camera-app app not even when I upgraded to the latest versions of the YouCam App.  The problem is that, although some applications may have horizontal flipping, very few have a vertical flip option. Because if I understand read online (and never a solution to) "How can I get my webcam image to return to the other side, or why is my webcam image upside-down, or how to fix the problem of my image webcam showing upside." I think that Microsoft should solve this problem and provide a PHOTO FIX device for windows 8/8.1 users and make sure to offer a full range of tools in the Technical Preview for Windows 10 camera app.

    Always have a camera that shows upside without parameters to fix it in Skype or other applications.  Camera settings must be available for all areas of the webcam of the person.  The other thing that I see a lot is that while the webcam is working on the side of the desk, the camera is not detected on the side of the metro.  It seems that if a piece of hardware is detected and listed in the Device Manager, it should be available at Metro and office applications to detect and use.

    Hello Martin,

    Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    Generally, you receive a disk with the camera software from the manufacturer of the camera that performs all necessary settings applicable for a particular camera model. Manufacturers also come with various other parameters such as the addition through updates they release. If you have already tried the updates, you can check with the manufacturer about the settings that you need.

    With Windows camera application, I suggest to run the troubleshooter app available in the following link and see if that fixes the problem.

    If you simply need to rotate/flip the image, you can also use Windows Photo Viewer to do.

    Click with the right button on the image > click Open with > Windows Photo Viewer

    Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

    Thank you.

  • Web camera application error message

    Hello

    I get the following message when I try to run my Satellite L655 laptop webcam application:

    "The application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. See the application event log, or continue the tool command line sxtrace.exe for more details"

    No idea on how to solve this problem, because I was not able to have the menu bar of the web camera (for more than two months now) and I wasn't able to use it on the GMAIL chat since last night (it works well in Skype).

    P.S. I'm not a tech pro!

    Have you tried to reinstall the webcam app?

    Remove it system (Control Panel > programs and features), restart your computer and install the latest version you can download from the Toshiba support page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

  • Send via the menu of the camera application

    I'm trying to implement a menu item in my application exactly like send it via the menu which is available after you have taken a picture. I tried to look at literature as citing a domestic demand but also to attach a file to send, but they do not really help us.

    Basically, I want to be able to send a jpeg file to my request as an attachment by email, BBM, twitter, etc..

    What is the best way to address the issue? I want the user to be able to modify the body of the message before sending it. Is it possible to have invokeApplication to allow me to do? Can I send the attachment as an argument somehow?

    Thanks in advance

    I was able to create a menu similar to that of the camera app with just a dialog box with the different shipping options.

    With respect to the fixing, I simplified my code, which worked:

    inputStream = getClass().getResourceAsStream("\test.jpg");

    byte[] data = IOUtilities.streamToBytes(inputStream);

    inputStream.close();

    Multipart multipart = new Multipart();

    SupportedAttachmentPart attach = new SupportedAttachmentPart(multipart, "image/jpeg", "test.jpg", data);
    multipart.addBodyPart(attach);
    TextBodyPart emailBody = new TextBodyPart(multipart, "This is the body message");
    multipart.addBodyPart(emailBody);
    Message m = new Message();
    m.setSubject("This is the subject");
    m.setContent(multipart);
    Invoke.invokeApplication(Invoke.APP_TYPE_MESSAGES, new MessageArguments(m));

    That surround with try and catch MessagingException, IOException and NullPointerException statement. This works with 4.6, and as far as I know and with the file in the res folder of your project.

  • Disable the button or to open the camera application

    Is there anyway to disable the feature that allows the camera to open by pressing the button or on the side of my droid?  I have a dashboard mounting that I use to keep my phone while driving, and when I place the phone in, the brackets that hold it in place press this button and open the camera each time.  It's really annoying!  Suggestions?

    There is an application called "Shortcut button" which will give you the results you want.  An once installed open the app and tap "Select application" under the camera on a long button and then select "do nothing".  You can also set to open a different application if you wish, but apparently you want do nothing right.  I hope this helps.
