Camera Raw with Mac OS Yosemite

My Camera Raw works on Mac Yosemite with Nikon D810

Never mind. After further consideration, I decided not to get such a costly device (which in addition to a high price, I would have to have an operating system update as well as a subscription to software dependent on Internet connection). I rather shoot on a good old camera walked for a while and work in a darkroom in the former. Thanks anyway.

    Hello

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 installed on OS X Yosemite and many people use without problems. Your best option would be to use the first Pro CC or higher for flawless performance.

  • Camera RAW with the new computer?

New computer with Win 8.1... I use Photoshop CS5 and I have a Canon EOS600D. Please can you tell me what DNG Converter I should download. Also it will combine with PS automatically or I will introduce in plugins for example?LEA

In fact, you should be able to use the camera raw 6.7 (plugin) in photoshop cs5, which is expected to open these files in photoshop cs5.

Camera Raw plugin | Supported devices

Applications of camera Raw compatible Adobe

If in photoshop cs5, you go to help > about plug-in and click on the words of Camera Raw, which version would you say?

If it is a version number less than 6.7, you get the update to camera raw 6.7 from here:

Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows: Camera Raw 6.7.1 update

You can also try help > updates inside, photoshop cs5, but that may not work.

  • Use Camera RAW with the Sony Nex-3

    Hey guys!

I want to get more details on my photos.

    I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS5

Sony NEX - 3 camera Compact (listed in the camera raw compatibility list)

First, I changed the photo cameras to jpg in RAW format and made some photos.

At home I tried to open the files with Camera Raw. Does not work. The sony camera recorded images as ARW file.

So I downloaded Adobe DNG Converter. I've converted the ARW in a RAW file and opened it with camera raw.

So far so good! I opened the FIRST photo with Photoshop. Just to test with 8 & 16-bit also. My camera supports 16-bit?

I compared the RAW file with the jpg created again.

Normally the quality of the raw file should be much better than the jpg compressed, I think.

I took a quick glance at some other pictures of jpg (I shot in JPG Mode) and compared with the FIRST Images (RAW Mode).

I have seen absolutely no difference between RAW and JPG.

I also tried an exact correction of the tonal value at the two images.

Even with the other image corrections. More details, noise, sharpness... even.

With the Sony NEX-3 there was also a program included RAW that opens the ARW files.

I do not see too many differences between RAW and jpg here.

    What I a m d INGO evil ?

I must say that I am a beginner camera's gross. I tried for the first time. I thought it would be easier!

The screenshot below see you an image on the left and a 16-bit DNG on the right.

I have not found any difference!

I would greatly appreciate your help and some good advice.

    Best regards Andi

You have a lot of questions, and you will get countless different answers.

Firstly, raw images are generally images 12 or 14 bits.  Your camera doesn't have to support that, because it's one of the benefits of shooting in raw.  Camera Raw opens the images in a 16-bit workspace.  Due to the additional bits and other factors as well, you're able to do a lot more with images.  If you have deep and strong or extremely brilliant shadows highlights overexposed, you will find that you can recover a lot more detail in these troubled when areas you work with raw image data.  The fact is that if you have perfectly exposed image and you're not overexposed areas or mitigate the shadows, it will be difficult to see the difference.

If you really are not a bad thing.  You must do some experiments more and some studies to better understand yourself the advantage for the filming of raw images.  If you're like most people who contribute here, once you realize you has all the benefits of shooting raw images, you will probably stop shooting JPEG in total.

  • How do update you camera raw with Photoshop CS5

I own Photoshop CS5 and cannot get the camera raw update. Is Adobe allowing bullies updates camera for the software that people own. I'm not in the cloud.

    Hi Jerryh,

CS5 is several versions back and does not the recent Camera Raw updates in native mode, you can, however, use the converter DNG (Digital Negative) to convert your images to DNG and CS5 format should be able to open those. • Adobe Camera Raw with CS4?

Finally had time to CS4 installation (don't laugh) on a laptop computer that I own. Normally I use Nikon View NX2 and Nikon Capture NX2 for the development of the NAVE, so I can't live without ACR.

No problem with the installation of the PS, but cannot open my Nikon NEF RAW files. Thought that I could download and install RTAs, which then wanted to Adobe Application Manager, but this path leads nowhere.

Can I get a version of ACR that works with CS4? I guess Lighroom would be an option too. Thoughts?

Understood, but the basic question is really "but cannot open my Nikon NEF RAW files."

The best starting point is the model of the camera, then the required CAB version is clear.

CS4 is not compatible with the version of ACR to support your camera.

I try to install a package Adobe CS 6 created with AAMEE 3.1 on a new yosemite running from the i - mac. The Setup program stops always display an error with no useful information.

The package installs fine on older Mac running the mavericks. Is it not possible to use this package on yosemite?

I could not find information on the compatibility of amaze 3.1 and yosemite.

I advise to use Creative Cloud Packager, JEAN is no longer supported.
