  I'm trying to implement a tree with drag and drop functionality that:
  1. does not allow a file/branch to drag in a different folder/line
  2. does not allow a branch not to drag onto a branch and in the root
  
  Basically, I'm trying to preserve a State that looks like this:

  Well, I found something that works and it has not even force me to abandon the automatic brake and drop the control functionality (even if I don't know that it belongs to the category "shameless hack").

  The method calculateDropIndex() in the class Tree gets its data from the _dropData of the class member. _dropData.parent contains the item - in my case XML - index that points to the dropIndicator. If it is null, I know that the dropIndicator lies at the root and in my case, it is enough information. I access it from my long MXML tree as follows:

  Hopefully this quick fix can be useful to someone.

  You need to carefully examine the results when you disable a base like the Drag and Drop feature.

  Some examples of functions that may be affected:

  • In many programs, you would be no longer able to drag and select a block of text to copy.
  • It would be impossible to drag a window to another location on the screen.

  In my view, it is not possible that you are trying to import images from one application to another.

  • You will need to first export of photo images in a folder on the desktop or any other location
  • Then open LR, click Import and navigate to this location in the source Panel and import the images in LR.

  It would not seem like an audio CD, as a drive in this way is a data disc when it contains mp3 files. You would need to access the file menu in iTunes, manage files here. If you manually manage music, you will need to access it as a regular folder on your computer. In iTunes, go to file > add file to library, and select individual files.

  Under Finder/shared, I see the TimeCapsule 'airport', and when I click on it it is a file called "Data".  I was expecting to see my two partitions here.  Under 'Features' is a ' Zissou31 MacBook Air (3)"sparsebundle file and I can also create folders here and drag and drop files on the TC here.  I can see the partitions in disk utility, but how do I see/use the partitions I created in the Finder?

  I fear that this may not be set up correctly and I'm either losing on an entire partition I created or these files dragged/dropped may be at risk of overwriting of TimeMachine.  How can I make sure that the file analysis is on the appropriate partition?

  I disabled TimeMachine and go back to see if I could 'point' to one of the partitions, but the "Data" folder is the only thing that TimeMachine seen.  How do I point time Machine for one of the partitions?

  What happens when you try?  Make sure you drag the icon image and not the text of the name.

  If it still doesn't work there are some registry changes that can try to alleviate the problem.  But because the changes to the registry are tedious and dangerous, I recommend to leave the system to repair it for you.  Here's how:
  1. Type of restore in the search box of the start menu to find and open to restore system files and settings from a restore point.
  2. Click Next, choose a date before the problem started, then click Next once more.

  • This process only takes around 2 minutes and only restores your system files/settings: it will not affect any of your files, documents, photos, emails, or anything else.
  If the system restore does not resolve the problem try this to replace missing or corrupted system files.  Here's how:
  1. Type cmd into the start menu search box, and then press Ctrl-Shift-Enter to launch as administrator.
  2. At the command prompt to start the File System Check, type sfc/scannow .

  I have a bat file, where I run a powershell script passing one argument which is a folder name. I added the file beats in my office, so I could just drag and drop a folder in the Explorer on the bat file.

  Yes - just change the name of the model table in the script (t_name = "table_template") then save this new transformation for later use.

  I don't know how to apply only some of the tables. Seems like something you could do to a secondary view level?

  Perhaps someone else on the forum can advise how to change the script to work on a subview only instead of the whole model.

The "update" column displays the original date of the email... which is what I want to do with Thunderbird.   I think the reason what OE is the original date because each message is stored in a single file, while TB stores all messages in a folder in a file, an mbox file. Thus, when you save a message as a single eml file, its 'modification date' corresponds to the eml file date was written in the mbox file.

  You can find the ImportExportTools add-on useful because it allows you to add the date of the e-mail eml file name when enamel is exported ("Save selected messages" of the message right-click menu).
