  in the .xml file, what are the parameters that I need to change... how I can create SID_hostname.env

  In my case, source db have jre in the appsutil file, because while getting DB Upgrade failed to create jre.

  If I use quick clone it will throw error:

  So I opted to go to caraa clone...

  Cloning Oracle Applications version 12 with rapid Clone (Doc ID 406982.1) under the section "Option 6: cloning the database separately. It's the way supported cloning if you want to update the database manually.

  Open a session on the system target as the ORACLE user

  Configure the [RDBMS ORACLE_HOME]

  $ cd [RDBMS ORACLE_HOME] / appsutil/clone/bin

  $ perl adcfgclone.pl dbTechStack

  Create the database target control files manually

  I took the alter database controlfile to trace, stop the db target, copy all the files of data & houses in the init.ora target.chnage in the target accordingly.

  When I run the trace file, database has mounted with success... He was asked to arhivelogs... Since we have archivelogs in place...

  Target database closure.

  I added _allow_resetlogs_corruption = TRUE in the init.ora file

  start using pfile = ""

  Am now able to open the DB with success.

  Run the script to update the database library

  $ cd [RDBMS ORACLE_HOME] / appsutil/install / [NAME of CONTEXT]

  $ sqlplus "/ as sysdba" @adupdlib.sql so

  The database must be running and open before performing this step.

  $ cd [RDBMS ORACLE_HOME] / appsutil/clone/bin

  $ perl adcfgclone.pl dbconfig [context of database target file]

  When the context of target database file is: [RDBMS ORACLE_HOME] /appsutil/ [nom_du_contexte target] .xml.

  A permanent solution for this is RC-20200: Fatal: Unzip is not found. For the moment only decompress Native 5.X is supported (Doc ID 1410514.1)

  Workaround solution:

  Since we Unzip verion 6.0... It is not supported.

  I've uninstlled Unzip verion 6.0.

  Installed Unzip version 5.x...

  Opened the new Session

  I added/usr/bin/unzip in the path.

  Perl adcfgclone.pl dbconfig [context of target database file] took place without the .env acidification

  Finsihed with success...

  We also have a new Linux (Enterprise Linux 4) whereby I wanted to clone the existing Prod on HP UX. I think that it is not possible to clone to a different platform by using the normal procedure of quick clone.
  Would it be possible as a result of any other custom procedure, suggestions, clues, documentation is reference please...

  You are right as the source and the target operating systems must be compatible to the binary format.

  Follow the steps of (Note: 756086.1 - Oracle Applications R12 Migration from Solaris to Linux platform).

  For the database, you need to export/import.

  Note: 454616.1 - export/import process for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 using 10 gr 2
  Note: 741818.1 - process of import/Export for R12 using 11 GR 1 material

  I read a lot of doc on FRD (diagnose forms TIME) then I came to know that I have to install oracle apps r12. So I want to ask I'm following right way to diagnose myself over time oracle forms so that I can know his mistake & where he is and why?

  If you want to work with obtaining FRD newspapers and their learning. You can simply connect to an existing EBS enviornment and the work, if it isn't the only option you have is to install EBS and learn the concept of DR.

  I am completely new in Oracle Apps. I have a lot of experience in Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, .net), but has never worked in Oracle Apps before. Now, try to learn it.
  I installed Oracle Apps R12 on a virtual linux for learning machine. I selected 'database empty' at the time of installation (i.e. no Vision) and connected as a sysadmin. But now I don't know where to start. Let's say I want to use the financial data module to enter false data and then create a report. Where should I start? I searched in Google but as none of the "beginners" tutorial have this info.
  
  Can someone help me or direct me to a tutorial/documentation that will help me get started?

  The installation of any add-on EBS program requires functional knowledge. For example, if you want to start with Financials, you would usually begin with GL. The GL Implementation Guide has the necessary steps - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18727_01/doc.121/e13620/toc.htm

  If you do not have a working knowledge, it would be better to help you install the database example of Vision for you to learn your way through the EBS

  Obligation:

  Disable the option to update - user should not update the quantity fields on the tabs IE (price, delivery, returns, Service, other, addresses) if it meets a given condition.

  If someone tries to update - just pop - up error message "update not allowed here!"

  I think we can do this using the form of customization.

  But I'm not actually (event trigger, Trigger, Condition object) - how to disable particular field

  Payroll run in the Oracle Apps R12 and the need to develop an API to insert data of payroll results in MySQL database tables, it will be for 4.5 months as finance Modules of Apps will also apply for them, so that MySQL will be totally replaced by Oracle.

  You must run Quick Setup again on the application tier node after copying the configuration file 'conf_.txt' from the data base-level node. Please note that the staging area directory which will be used for installation should be accessible by both nodes. Search the manual for 'conf_.txt' and you should get these details.

  RapidWiz does not have the install feature Oracle Apps with RAC of installation/configuration, so you'll have to do a traditional installation then follow the documents to configure the RAC database.
