Can I change my aspire Windows to Android

I have an Aspire 10th swap and find widows too swollen for the memory capacity. Is it possible to switch to Android which I think is better suited for tablets.

Not really, there are emulators Android for Windows, but nothing that would run natively. Android requires a bit of development in the port to new hardware and Windows models are simply not suited to her terriblt.

  • How can I change the settings Windows XP Pro so it stops completely rather than go into sleep mode?

I run Windows XP Pro and am fed up with my PC, switch to 'sleep' mode when I told him to stop.  How can I change the settings so it stops completely instead of sleep mode? Please do not assume that I know computers - a complete manual would be better. Thank you very much.

    Hello Cosmicbbb,

Thank you for your message.  If you want to withdraw your option set to the option "Turn off computer", you can make the following registry edit.
Click Start > click Run > type regedit and press "Enter."
    Navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ACPI\Parameters.
Right-click in the empty space in the right pane and select new | DWORD value.
    Attribute value name
    Then, double-click attributes
Make sure hexadecimal is selected by breaking 70
Click OK, close the registry editor and restart.
Now when you choose to stop the computer in the start menu in XP, you will not be able to choose the day before by accident.
Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.

  • Can I change the default windows folder explore in the registry? No shortcuts fixed please.

How can I change the default folder, windows Explorer opens in just to run and type "explorer". I know that I could type in extra stuff, for example "explorer.exe C:\somedir\stuff\" but I prefer to be able to put it permanently in the registry so that when I type explorer.exe (no extra stuff) it should open where I want. Is this possible? What registry entry be? I do not use desktop shortcuts or shortcuts, start changing them, that's not what I'm looking for.

If it was going to be everywhere, so it would probably be somewhere in this multi key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer branches, but that the use of parameters on the end of the "shortcut" probably is used to send instructions from command line directly on the .exe, it is more likely it is that stored anything in the registry?

Many setup programs accept command line parameters yet Windows will have no knowledge of these programs, so that they are installed it is why I think that it would be futile in the search for a registry location?  I could be completely wrong of course and bow to the superior knowledge.

You could use an article like this one to make some changes and use the following (RegShot) program to see what has changed in the registry, if anything.

How to customize the Windows Explorer views in Windows XP
    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;307856 & SD = Tech #AppliesTo

If you want to really dive in and get dirty, you could take a snapshot of your registry before you make the change and the other afterwards and see if you can pick up any changes.  This little freeware program can help you achieve this goal.

  • How can I change RWIN in Windows 7 Home Premium?

I contacted my ISP at slower speeds, when I promised 100 Mbps. I have 100 Ultra Charter, and after contact, they said I can have incorrect MTU and RWIN values. They recommended:

    MTU 1500
    RWIN of 1048320
I already changed the MTU, but how do I change RWIN?

    Hello

Windows 7 changes the RWIN (TCP receive window) dynamically. However, sometimes the auto tuning feature does not work correctly.

  • Can't change color to yellow back [Android] contrast

Sorry if it has been asked before,

Android tablet, I was highlightinng in yellow. But I wanted to then change the color for a short paragraph to stress it. But now when I want to go back to the yellow, I can't see it in the color list. What can I do?

    Thanks in advance.

With the latest version of Adobe Acrobat DC, the previous color palette has now been replaced by a new palette. You can choose the new variant of yellow by tapping the nail, choose 'color' from the options and then choosing the new color to the palette. Please let us know if you have problems with the same.

  • How can I change "open new window" tab behavior?

I used to be a long time Firefox user and then switch to Chrome for a while. Come back now, and I notice some strangeness with tabs and "new windows". Can't understand how to work around.

My "Home Page" is set up to open three tabs. A MSN, the second is my email, and the third is Google Calendar. It works fine, except...

    (1) if I choose 'New window' (Ctrl-N), it re-opens those same three tabs. When I open a new window, I don't want to reopen these three tabs. They are already open in the main window. How can I stop Firefox to do this? I can't find a way to get there.

    (2) the other door on the 'Home' button If I push the home button it loads all three of these tabs. In Chrome, there is another parameter for the 'home' vs the tabs start button. Is it possible to replicate this? Sometimes I hit the home button only to load MSN. I don't want all three of these tabs when I hit the home button. Any way around this?

    Danke.

    It is not possible.
A new window opens to the home page (s), so you should set the home page to about: blank or create a bookmark to the defined location: virgins and hold the Shift key and left click to open this page in a new window.

You can add these three pages to the command-line of the desktop shortcut to open the page when you start Firefox Firefox.

  • How can I change location in Windows?

Windows I'm in Winfield, Ala., when I'm more than 100 miles away.  Everytime I open a Web site (map, weather, etc.), it assumes I'm in Winfield and I get emails and popups on transactions near Winfield.  How can I fix it?

What tool do you use to display your position?

Unless you use a device such as an iPad, which has a built-in GPS, these services are trying to deduce your location from your IP address.  For most people, the location of the IP address is the location of the servers of their ISP.

  • My Windows 7 computer updated automatically to IE10 and now I can't "change colors of window glass. Why is this?

I used to have the ability to "change the color of glass windows", but since the upgrade only option IE10 disappeared.  My Start menu and taskbar is now a clear blue color with white txt which is difficult to read.  Any ideas?

    Thank you!

If you have updated your Windows then uninstall the update of platform for Windows 7 (KB2670838) and your problem should be solved.

Before I updated my Windows this month I just checked if Microsoft still offer this update. This is in the optional list. I installed so I thought to manually upgrade to IE10 because he wasn't in the IE9 update list. So I did manually and after that check updates again and to my surprise this update has disappeared completely. I have an old PC as well, and after installing all the updates I still have no problems so far.
