  Yes, usable only between the same dynamic link versions products. You can complete rditing and export a first Pro CC and take it to After Effects for further editing, but dynamic linking is not possible in this case.

  Hi Mike,.

  First of all, it can normally be done, but it's not simple (and much more complicated/difficult {to the point where some people will say "no, it cannot be done"} if it is an image backup full rather than a full backup; and even with a full, more complicated backup but just more effort if differential backups indivdual also play a role, since you may need to check each of them also).

  That said, the answer will also depend on what you used as backup destination.  If it was and external HARD disk or a separate internal HDD or a network location, then you will probably be OK.  If you used a set of DVD or CD, it of extraordinarily difficult or, if the drives are not the RW types (but guys R), impossible (since you cannot make changes to them once they are written).

  In my case, since I the backups periodicals full image as well as weekly full backups (with daily differential backups) AND maintain multiple copies as "backup backups' so to speak, it would be even more complicated.  If I felt the need to do (but I don't see a good reason, it would be NECESSARY that desperately and leave just the time to cure the problem), I would probably remove the file from the system and just launch a new series of backups that although a lot of time, maybe more simple in the end.

  I have a problem of AE with Dynamic Link compositions.

  I have Master Collection CS5 installed on a Mac oSX 10.5.8

  When I try, for example, to import into Media Encoder an AE composition happear the window where I should choose the composition, but for a few minutes, stay "Connect to the server of dynamic links" and "unable to connect to the Server Dynamic Link.

  I could never use Dynamic Link since I installed CS5.

  I also tried to create a new admin user and with this new user, it worked, but only for maybe a week... He did it again to say "unable to connect...". »

  Change in preferences, I think, something but I have no idea of what can be, I used without problem Friday night the last time and on Monday morning he quit to work...

  I can't seem to get a dynamic link between AE and PP. I have the Master Collection 5.5.1 on a 2 x 2.26 Mac Pro Quad-Core with 12 GB of RAM.

  Sending a sequence or a model two-way opens the program on the right with a link in the tray or the project. There is just no clips of any kind in the sequence or model.

  Operator error. Answered my own question. I haven't used the dynamic links much. It works very well. I was momentarily confused importing a PP vs project a vibrant sequence bound.
