  You can do indeed using Flash/Animate. SITA Sings the Blues was animated in Flash/animate and many other movies have been made this way. It is true, you can't much composite with (yet) but After Effects fills this gap well.

  After you have created a simple animation in Adobe animate CC, I want to export to a video file. Given that the export will result in one. MOV file, it requires Quicktime.
