  Hi all

  I had some difficulty trying to get my landing page not hosted Eloqua to pre-fill with URL parameter values (which I spent an introductory email) in the form of embedded Eloqua.

  I tried the Javascript code that would normally work on the "regular" forms, but I think that since the form in a snippet Eloqua, apparently in error.

  I tried to access entries of form as such:

  document. Forms ["PotentialCustomer"] .field0. Value = "my default";

  Where PotentialCustomer is of the form name and Champ0 is the first input text.  I actually tried other methods of code, but they all fail - it's like I can't access to the Eloqua form until after the page has value.

  The error I encounter in the browser console, is:

  TypeError: document.forms.PotentialCustomer.field0 is not defined

  Yet, when debugging, I can plug a value here and it will BE popluate in the form.  Any ideas?

  It looks like you can run this code before the form HTML has been charged. Is the code called on the document ready event or if it just appears between the script tags in the HEAD section?

  I would recommend loading the jQuery library and ready to determine when the document is finished loading and then fill your form field value using. Discover this violin for an example: change fiddle - JSFiddle

  It's not you, it's the browser security model. You are unable to access details of all the files that the user has not explicitly provided to your page.

  So, if I store that excel sheet using a navigation button in table wwv_flows_files, then automatically all means this sheet file data in the excellent flows_files table must be inserted into the table empty i have.

  If you're on APEX 4.1 create data loading page. Then the end user may download the CSV data to your table.
  Excel can be saved in CSV format.

• Pre-fill the form Registration (Buy)

  I think I'll be really really stupid, but I tried the tips on http://KB.worldsecuresystems.com/654/bc_654.html?BC-partner to allow registered customers to connect just after adding items to their cart without the need to re - register or fill in their details, and I can't seem to do.  I think I'll use method 1, but here are my problems.
  

  Problem 1:

  Where can I add the {module_FirstName}, etc available registration (Buy)?  Everywhere where I tried, is not displayed and disappears when I go back to HTML or is off the beaten path.

  Problem 2:

  Will the button automatically direct connection of the user to the pre-filled form?
  

  Does anyone know of a very good (and I think I need simple) way to do this please?

  In addition, while I ask me questions, when I add the payment gateway, these details will automatically fill their form as well.  I use SagePay I think.

  Hi Lisa,

  (1) all you need to do is to place the module within the field tag.

  

  (2) insert generic login area in the record buy arrangement.  This will simply refresh the page once the client connects.  No redirect is necessary.

Is this something that is done if the designer of the ADF and the business objects? or do you create database tables stay and bind in the ADF and the workflow.   1. Yes, in all first place in the database, we added all the data manually for all research. Its our own schema custom. We plan to provide a few simple administration screens in a different WebApps to maintain these values to search. Note that it is a different simple ADF application, with a layer of EJB and EJB layer calling this and get/update database values.

  2. in ADDITION, we have a few search values we get from system/application totally another as Oracle EBS Suite. To do this, we have created custom schema. In this custom scheme, we have a few stored procedures created by the developers of EBS database (they are more familiar with EBS). Now in our EJB layer, we use architecture JPA, call these stored procedures and get all values for the search and display in the TaskDetails page. These values are maintained in EBS itself, so we have not all custom within our SOA/BPM project admin screens.

  In conclusion, our SOA/BPM applications, we have 2 databases. First database is for components SOA where we run RCU comand and there all SOA_INFRA, MDS, diagrams ORABAM etc. The second database is for our custom schema specific to our application. Here, we have our own lookup tables, custom table and all cutom stored procedures than coonect to external EBS etc. Weblogic console, we have just to create a data source for this second database and use layer JPA (persistence.xml file). For the first database, you already know that in the creation of the field itself, it will create all sources of data also.

• Can I change a Muse form so that it will pre-fill a PayPal transaction?

  I need to include a way for people to make donations on the website I created. I don't know how to use the PayPal widget to add a "donate" button, but I need more than that. I want to have a form that people fill out on MY WEB site, and then when they click on the "donate" button it should bring to PayPal where the info what they entered is already entered in the form of PayPal.

  PayPal provides instructions on how to edit the html code of a form so that the correct variables will be collected by PayPal... However, I'm not sure if there is a way to do what I do without creating a form from scratch in html and then import to Muse in this way (via object > insert HTML code...) I don't want to create the form from scratch if I can avoid it, just because I'm not well versed in the html code.

  Hello, I have basic experience with InDesign and you want to do something a little intimidating (not sure if it is still possible).

  I'm coordinates a scholarship competition where people fill out a form and I want that data to fill an Excel worksheet. I also have these forms available so I need a way to "lock" the process of edition form.

  I want to my form layout in InDesign and give him a few data fields (e.g., name, contact information, etc.) and radio buttons (for example what price category would you like to participate). There are some fields of data (for example, to provide information on your presentation) that I didn't need to fill my Excel spreadsheet.

The Web site legitimately refuse my password. I can't replace my username pre-populated because the second I hit enter to open a session, the initial username is rewritten in its field. Or user names is registered by firefox anywhere in the "Tools"; Options, security, advanced, or fields from the privacy menu.

  I noticed that this Web site has installed a cookie on my computer called "_rememberme" that contains the user name plaguing me.

  This is a Web site that I have access to very sensitive and important information, and I have to have two accounts available at different times.

  Using the cookie can still cause the pre-population of the returning visitors who are browsing organically.

  We have implemented a step name on some forms in 2010 in an engagement with a simple javascript function that has entered the URL, deleted the elq querystring, and then set the location.href to this URL.

  It is a block of starting point below. It removes all querystrings so if you want to keep the campaign id or drive the source of the e-mail, you must add those in the new URL.

  I'm trying to provide a resource using the IOM API, which I am able to do successfully, but I also have a requirement to update the shape of a CSV file process. When I try to read and update CSV, it cancels the values populated pre-fill adapters even when they are not provided by the WB.
  
  Here's the logic I used:
  
  (1) read the CSV data
  (2) user of MSN search
  (3) resources available
  (4) treat the value form data after reading process values form a CSV.
  
  As soon as the data of the form process set the task runs, it updates the other fields (i.e. which are not provided by CSV) with a null value.
  
  Please let me know if there is another way that I can put a few of the fields in the CSV process form without destroying the remaining values.

  I hope that you send only a few attributes in your card, not all of the attribute (attributes that were part of prepopulate).

  If so, it should not happen.

  Workaround solution:

  You have processInstanceKey
  Retrieve existing data in the form getProcessFormData
  Make a card with existing fields and values and add your new fields and their values, and call setProcessFormData

  After little help! I have created a web form for a company to use for travel. It has specific fields for location, accommodation and date of travel.

  I would like to know the best way to pre fill these fields if someone clicks on through a list of availability on a page of the accommodation?

  For example, if there is a link "Book now" on 11/17/2012 at the hotel of new in France, how I would make only if someone clicks on 'Book now' they then go to a form where they can fill in their details relevant information pre-filled for the date, they chose.

  All you have to do is have parameters in the URL and fill them according to the options.

  So... nextpage.html? country = & date =.

  And with jQuery that populate these settings on hover/click/change etc.

  Just make sure that they have values before going to the next page.

  On the next page all you do is use module_url.

  So for an entry for the country field you get the value {module_url, country} where the country is the parameter in the URL and the system will fetch its value.

  So the last part is simple, simply to get the url parameters defined when you click on through the following page.

  If it's a form, just add at the end of the action of the form.

• Is it possible to create a form that allows users to import data from an excel spreadsheet

  I was not able to start my reading on writing scripts or other features of livecycle to try to understand this, but I was wondering if anyone else had already created a form with this feature or had any ideas on how it would be possible.  Currently, our company uses and Excel form that have a variable number of rows of data for each time it is filled and we it would be replaced with a form of adobe.  I would like to know if users who will use the new form in adobe reader adobe, might have the ability to imort lines of the previous form of excel in the new version of adobe.

  You can configure a data connection with an Excel spreadsheet. However, for the data connection caring for users of Reader, you need to activate Reader with LiveCycle Reader Extensions ES2.5 (server component) form. See here for the summary: http://assure.ly/etkFNU.

  However, if you just try to get existing data into shape, you should have a look at some of the posts by Stefan Cameron: http://forms.stefcameron.com/ (try a search). You can start a new form by using the wizzard and select import into Excel. This will allow you to paste your spreadsheet to a new form. This should help to put in place the structure/data schema, which you can then reproduce in a new form. I've not done this before, but it should be possible.

  Also make sure that you are not Firefox running in permanent private browsing mode (don't remember history).
