Can I put the label above the text box?

Using the Flex forms for the first time (obviously).

I would like to place the FormItem labels above text areas and not left. I accomplished this with a grid, but it seems that there must be a better way (I can't find it in the docs).

    Not a suggestion, but troubleshooting: you can move with the arrow keys?

    It may turn out to be a sort of corruption, where you can try the list.

    The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file and when it is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media, see below. You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

    If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    Hi all, I would like to do this: make a text caption to display a variable that contains a paragraph of text that the user has typed as soon as possible.

    I created the maximum length of the variable only 1000 and I am able to partially displayed variable in the text caption - only at the end of the first line of caption text.

    ICan someone tell me how to configure the text caption so that it can encapsulate texts? I can't find it in the properties panel.

    No need to shout, even if I'm not native English, I understood your question very well, and this can be done with the enhanced TextArea widget as I mentioned. Here is a screenshot:

    Workflow:

    • Create a user variable, I scored it
    • Insert twice the widget with variable TextArea (Jim Leichliter, CaptivatePro), on the screen, these are the two rectangles on the bottom red and blue
    • Configure the first Widget to be associated with v_text and show this variable by inserting a default $$ v_text$ $
    • Configure the second Widget to display this variable by inserting returns a default $$ v_text$ $
    • You will need a button to refresh, so that the text appears in the second widget. Here I used the button, and then assigned to the action "Jump to slide" with the same number of slide so that the playback head rewound to the beginning of the slide
    • The text in the second widget shows; as you can see, it can be formatted as you wish.

    If you want to display the text in another slide, no need to make the action update, it automatically displays when you get to this slide.

    It is not a text caption that is displayed, but the widget. Is this a problem?

  • Can't draw the text box on MasterPage for the numbering of the pages

    I'm spending PageMaker in InDesign CS4. I have a problem of numbering of the pages in my document of 50 pages. I have facing pages and was able to draw a text box on the left side of my Master Page (A) to insert numbers. I now have numbers, that is, 2, 4, 6, etc., printing on the left side of my document pages. (Not sure why paging was applied only to the left.) I was not able to draw a text box on the right side of the Master Page (A) while I can number the odd document pages, if this is the way to go. The right text box does not consume. I googled the problem and tried several different methods, but can not get to the right page numbers. Any help would be appreciated. Uh oh, I fear the saying "you can't teach an old dog monkey" may be applicable.

    Zoom out until you see Master left and right Page (easier is to hit Alt + Ctrl + 0: 'Fit spread in window' in the view menu).

    Copy the box with the page number, you already have and paste it immediately - it should appear somewhere in the neighborhood of the center of your screen.

    Select it with the black arrow (not the white or the text tool) and slide it into place on the right page.

    Yes.  I find it easier to type text, and then use the move tool (shortcut V) (looks like an arrow) to place it where you want.

    To bring up the character and paragraph panels go to WINDOW > CHARACTER or WINDOW > PARAGRAPH.

  • How can I stop the text originally a bearing?

    I have a card that has the red button symbols.

    When a user hovers over the button symbol, text appears describing the location.

    The problem is that the text placed in the event above the button causes this area of the map to Act also as a hotspot region.

    If you put the text only in the frame and the rest of the content defined for the success frame button, the text should not be involved with the reversal.

    Another approach would be to have the text in an object (MovieClip or Sprite) and its visible property of the rollover and rollout of the control button.

    You can do without the use of background images to create corners in RADIUS. Just change .box to .box_1 (or get rid of all the css for .box and use the below css of course resetting .box rather than .box_1)

  • Why I can't Center the text in the text boxes?

    Hello, I recently got muse Adobe and I use it to make a site for my father and he bought a domain already so I use Muse to make the site. I'm a tutorial (this is my first time using Muse) and the user centers the text in the text box beside where the text options in the top menu. I do not have a text align the button, so I can't focus or move the text in this way at all, and I can't put spaces to make them look centered either... Is there something I can do to center text? Any help is appreciated.

    No problem try Ctrl + Alt + 6 for your control panel and Ctrl + T for your text. If I were you I would get yourself on YouTube and YouTube the donkey of muse, there are plenty of good tutorials that you can follow, not to mention adobe TV / tutorials.

    If you need more help or advice, do not hesitate. Its also a good idea to add images when you try to explain a problem. If you succeed in adding your text editor and Control Panel, it should look like this?

  • How can I view the dimensions of the text boxes?

    The MUSE toolbar (if it is the correct name for it) to view the size - width and height of the text boxes, while I was working on page layout. This is very important with presentations of several columns that are not complying with the grid column - what types of old school like me know that * measures. (Not a description of PC, but that's what they were called in the publishing at least the last 50 years).

    But in the latest version, that happened the next day - it disappeared. It shows the coordinates X and Y, so I can see where is the box (not that I really care). But it does not show the DIMENSIONS which is what I want. They used to be next to the coordinates on the toolbar or Ribbon or whatever this is.

    Am I missing something? I tried several options, but they do not appear. I may be stupid, but I want to just my rear dimensions. Bypass it is laborious: make the first box of the column, and then draw another box above it, and then drag on the second position. And so on. And very tedious if I already have two or three columns of text on a page that I re - works. What should I do? Guess? If they are "similar" to Muse they will even when the site is updated?

    I don't even begin to understand what many new features are Muse - perhaps one day I'll have the time to learn. Maybe my site is boring, but I come from the world of newspapers, is what it is and I know how to do. I want to just my size back!

    Please check layers panel and put in place the menu item in the list, you can use the layers panel and move up or attempt to move the content.

    Hello everyone, I am using Captivate 5.5 and I'm trying to achieve this function:

    Have an area of text entry for the user to type in their responses (can be a paragph and up to 400 words etc.), then the user clicks on the submit button and they will be able to read what they have just typed in on the left of the screen and the response of the sample given by the course.

    To achieve this, I placed a text entry box and make the value associated with a custom variable 'log_1. Then I have two text captions:

    a named 'log_1_answer' and inside her, I put $$ log_1; the other named "log_1_sample". Two text captions are set to invisible at the entrance of the slide.  Then I advanced for the button action send the text box entry as "display the log_1_answer; See the log_1_sample; Hide text_entry_log1. "

    When I preview it, I got all the logistics work. However, the texts that were shown in the legend of the log_1_answer only text were only 15 letters.

    I wonder if there is a restriction on the length of the variables in Captivate that we can display? If so, are there other ways I can achieve what I want to do?

    When you insert the user variable, see the duration in the dialog box. Default value is in effect of 15 characters, you need to change it as I did in this example. Too bad, that you cannot change it after you have inserted the variable.
