  Trees are 'suppose' to send their drivers for MS for reasons of 'testing' and 'compatibility '. The only thing is that they are supposed to pay for the service, which some do ' t like to do and think it's a hassle anyway.

  So if a driver is not signed digitally by MS then, it does not matter, you can always install it. If you access the website of the manufacturer of your computer, download and install the latest audio driver for yout particular machine. It may or may not be digitally signed. No matter what. Just install it.
