  For this model of laptop, it is quite complicated because the STRANGE is from both sides. First you must remove the small screw placed in the Middle near the coverage of memory in the lower corner of your laptop (also near the cooling rack).   Try these steps and see if it helps.

  Delete the history of updates

  a. go to the start menu, then all programs, accessories. Right-click on "command prompt" and select "run as Administrator".

  b. copy / paste the command below:

  net stop wuauserv

  c. valve on register.
  Note: Wait for confirmation that the service is stopped.

  d. to remove the file, copy the following command at the command prompt:

  del %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\Logs\edb.log

  e. restart the service with this command: copy and paste the command below:

  net start wuauserv

  f. valve on register.
  Note: Wait for confirmation that the service is started

  g. restart the computer and check.

  Note: Updates cannot be uninstalled, but only the entries will be taken.

  Uninstaller for each update folder no longer exists in Vista and the uninstall information is stored by the Volume Shadow Copy service.

  So with Vista, it's a differential backup, rather than a full backup files for uninstall
