Can I reorder the list of style?

I spent some time updating the style names in a file of provision related to the theme of Captivate built-in Cap 9 active. The vast majority of style names referred in the name of the font, the size, the definition of provision rather than to use. Now my list of styles makes sense from the functional point of view, but is terribly organized, making it confusing work with styles.

Is there a way I can reorder the list of style? I hope that by modifying the exported file .cps would work; However, it is not a text file. I was expecting a file in xml format.

Any suggestions? While I can browse the styles, I'm afraid less experienced developers have a hard time with it.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Hi Mary,

You tap one of the weak points that I am cursed as well: some lists do not have a logical order, may not be re-arranged and the most important: nice filtering (that you have in the settings dialog boxes and advanced Actions) does not work. I had to recently get a list with more than 600 shares advanced for consultancy work (cut up to about 50). This list in the advanced Actions dialog box has the same disease, my PC did hear a lot of curses.

When I created a theme (styles are part of a theme) I try to define the styles more used as styles by default for different types of objects, because they appear at the top of the list. If you save the theme as a custom theme (with its Color Palette of theme custom, styles, master slides and skin) you do not violate the default styles of the original theme, which is included in Captivate. It is not an answer to your question, which I believe has no right answer. Crossing my fingers that some users inventive has an idea.
