Can I run Photoshop 5.0 on Windows 7

Can I use an older version of Photoshop (Photoshop 5.0 limited edition) on Windows 7? If this is not the case, what is the oldest version of Photoshop, I can run on Windows 7? I know that it's really old. I was in the graphic industry for many years, it is an older version that I had, and he will do everything that I need now that I use it not profesionally, just really like the program and want to use it for personal stuff at home.

Long answer: no the first version to be officially supported on Windows 7 was CS4. CS2 and CS3 can work too, but with limitations and possible problems.

  • Can I download Photoshop CC on my Windows 7 and also on my iPad Apple Pro under the same Adobe photography Plan?.

I currently have the Plan photograph of Adobe, Photoshop and Lightroom. I downloaded on my Windows 7. However, I just want to buy an iPad Pro and can also download Photoshop CC on an iPad Pro and is it possible to do so under a Plan of photography.

Please forgive me if this is a question that is simple for the most part, it's just that I am new to the CC from Adobe and I want Photoshop CC on a windows system 7 and an iPad Pro, so the plan allows me to download Photoshop CC on several platforms (PC and Mac).

You can download on a Windows PC and a Mac OS x, but not an iPad. Who uses iOS for which there is no Photoshop for this.

However, there are Adobe Mobile Apps for the iPad. Mobile applications

  • Can I install Photoshop 7.0 for Windows on my new MacBook?

Centuries ago, I bought Photoshop 7.0 for Windows. The death of my laptop, I decided to change to a MacBook, not even considering that I might not be able to reinstall it.

Well, I put the CDROM, knows something is there, but I can't seem to do anything.

Is it possible to install it on my Mac or I have to buy some kind of upgrade?

    What are my options basically.

I have for personal use only, purchased the version education student, so I don't want to spend hundreds of replacement.

I tried some other apps like photoshop and one of them has been implemented almost the same as Photoshop (Pixelmator I think it was), but it has stopped working now and crashes just on me.

I use layers a lot so I need something with this ability.

    Thank you

  • I can't get out of safe mode when starting, and can not run the Setup program from windows XP in safe mode.

I have a XP box that would only start in safe mode.  I needed to repair windows, so I started updating reinstall option but to reboot it says it cannot run in safe mode then it tries to boot into normal mode but crashes - which is what I am tring to solve.  Now I'm stuck because the computer is now making a loop and I'm stuck.  There is no available recovery console, it shows just the installation restart then goes into the shot.  If I try to launch safe mode, that it says cannot run update in safe mode then restarts in normal mode, which hangs then.  I'm stuck.  Boy the days where I wish I could just make the prompt C:\.  Thank you.

You can connect your problematic hard drive to another PC to copy your important data, using a device such as:

    or

I'm still not 100% convinced that you boot from the CD. Your Dell has the option of F12 to select a boot real-time device (as soon as you turn on the PC)? Also, remember that you have to "press any key to boot from the CD" when you see this screen! Of course, during a reboot, you start from the hard drive.

Even if you did everything by the book, a repair installation could easily 'loop' as you describe. But as long as your hardware is healthy, a clean install is done.

  • Can I run explore 32-bit on Windows 64-bit?

    Hello!

Compatibility and testing, I want to launch a 32-bit version of Windows Explorer on Windows Vista 64-bit. Is it still possible? And if yes, how do I do that?

I looked in the System32 folder and it contains the explorer.exe but it seems to be the 64-bit version. Is there another EXE stored in another place I can run, who is 32-bit?

Just to be clear, I mean Internet Explorer. I'm not interested in the answers that are interested in Internet Explorer. I'm afraid that with Windows Explorer, also known as the file Explorer in versions of Windows that came after Vista.

Correction! The explorer.exe is stored not in C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows. That's what I wanted.

I'll answer my own question here. I found the site with a tip on how to start the 32-bit version of Windows Explorer on 64-bit Windows.

    http://MDN.Morovia.com/kb/HOWTO-launch-32bit-Windows-Explorer-64bit-Windows-10610.html

He suggests creating a shortcut on the desktop and pointing to the following text:

    % Systemroot%\syswow64\explorer.exe/separees/e, {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

I know SystemRoot (environment variable) sent me to C:\Windows and SysWOW64\explorer.exe apparently is the 32-bit version of Explorer on 64-bit Windows. But do the/separate switches and / e? Can you explain or give me a link to the article in TechNet library or something where it is explained?

    Update

Apparently the switch/separate is undocumented. But the /e switch may not be relevant for Windows Vista, for Windows XP only.

    Here's what I found:

    Microsoft KB130510
    Microsoft KB314853
    Microsoft KB307856
Superuser - Explorer command line switches?

For Windows Vista, this should be sufficient:

    %systemroot%\syswow64\explorer.exe/separate

The separate switch is required to start explorer.exe as a separate process. If the 64-bit version is launched in any case, even if the 32-bit version of explorer.exe is stored to syswow64.

Where should I click to accept my own answer...? Well well... anyway... I accept my own response!

This is not quite accurate. 64-bit Windows 7 (which must be what you)
have) does not 16-bit, but Windows 7 32 bit programs.
