  To change the length (duration) of a photo in iMovie 10.1.1 (latest version), select the photo in the timeline panel, and then click the Info button in the toolbar at the top of your screen.  It is one that has an 'i' with a circle around it.   On the right, you will see a box of duration.  Type in the length you want and press return on your keyboard.

  Another way is to expand the line of time slightly with the cursor located above the timeline and right next to the settings button.  Then, you can select the photo and drag his edge to extend.

  I have a Panasonic GX1 camera. I take only RAW images with the camera. I recently took a series of shots in a port with integrated camera creative filters. In particular, I took several shots using the "miniature" filter parameter, which is a tilt-shift effect of nickname for just a central portion of a sudden seem to be to the point, what makes the development of the image seems to be miniaturized. It is a similar creative filter in many popular compact cameras and cameras CSC now available at different camera manufacturers; that is, it is nothing unusual.

  When I import images in LR5 I can see the effect of filter appears in the image thumbnails in the library section. However, a few seconds after that all the images are imported, thumbnails are converted to 'normal' images without any filter effect. LR5 just seems to strip the effects that I added carefully closed. It's so boring.

  The change of post import process also seems to be applied to the pictures taken with other creative filters in camera, as well as the automatic changes to other aspects of the image such as exposure and contrast. So far I was not able to find a way to tell LR5 simply don't process the images automatically after import, or an option to display the version in camera of the images after that that they were imported in LR5.

  Am I missing something here? Help!

  You can not prevent this.

  Lightroom does not display RAW photos with the camera effects included. It simply makes the photo as seen your camera sensor.

  The original appearance of the photo in Lightroom (which contains the effects of camera) is based on the embedded JPG in the RAW file, and as soon as Lightroom can make the raw, camera effects are gone.

  If you want to keep these effects of camera on your photos in Lightroom, you can either shoot JPG or RAW and use the camera manufacturer's software.

  I had the same problem and it took me almost 2 days to find a solution.

  See if that solves your problem (if all goes well it has been resolved since you posted).

  1. in the model Master, click on Page > Page Properties > metadata

  2. remove the small piece of code next to the body tag-{overflow-y: hidden}

  3. click on OK, then get an overview of your pages.

  I just upgraded to 10 64-bit Windows. The version of Firefox that works now on this OS regularly displays a blocking window that told me that "this connection is not approved" when I try to connect to a third-party site. A screenshot of the window copy is attached. How to disable this warning? I can't continue to use Firefox if I can't find the 'off' switch, which so far has escaped me.

  Yes, this is the feature, and it is lit.

  How it works, is that ESET intercepts all your browser connections to filter the content. If it is an HTTP connection, it is transparent. For an HTTPS connection, ESET must present a certificate of 'false' for Firefox site so it can be the "man in the middle" and decipher and read the answer (otherwise, it's gibberish, of course).

  ESET is supposed to insert his signature certificate in both the Windows certificate store (used by IE and Chrome) separated from Firefox AND the browser certificate store accepts the false certificates. But it does not always work. In this case, you can import the certificate manually in Firefox. If all goes well, which has been covered in the manual, but otherwise it's basically along these lines:

  (1) search or save a copy of the ESET signature certificate (it is a file in DER format that usually has the .cer extension). Is your second screen shot what appears when you click View Certificate? Try this:

  • Click the Details tab, click the button "Copy to File. This will start the Export Wizard.
  • In the wizard, choose the DER format and save in a suitable location (for example, your Documents folder).

  (2) import the file into Firefox as follows:

  • In Firefox, open the Certificate Manager to:
    "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > mini-onglet Certificates > "view certificates" button.
  • Click on mini - the References tab, then on the 'Import' button and find the DER file. Note: I suggest allowing the certificate for websites only.
