  The Sync tab appears only if the Firefox Sync add-on has been installed, or you are using the Firefox 4 beta builds. Looks like you need to install the add-on Firefox Sync on the work computer.

  Hello bbyford, 29A firefox introduced a new system of synchronization (with email + password) which is incompatible with the old accounts put in place in earlier versions (with username + password + sync key).
