Can I use a custom with iSCSI TCP/IP stack?

We have a group of 3 guests identical at each connection to the network through 2 natachasery using 2 vmks SAN. Each vmk resides on a separate broadcast domain so they belong to separate vswitches. No link is used in accordance with the guide of vSphere.

Thus, as the title suggests, should I use a separate TCP/IP stack custom for iSCSI vmks? or leave them in the stack by default (even if it is not an option to mark the vmks as IP storage)

As long as your vmkernel iSCSI cards and their respective iSCSI targets are in the same subnet of layer 3, i.e. you are not routing iSCSI traffic (vmkX<->TargetSPX vmkY<->TargetSPY separate subnet design iSCSI does not, apply as never before the traffic is routed between networks), OR you do not want to configure static routes customized for iSCSI targets in other subnets then there is no point in using a separate TCP/IP stack.

The main point to use the new functionality of ESXi 6 with several TCP/IP stacks is to have a completely separate battery routing table. Most of the admins were not able to handle very basic layer 3 static routing with itineraries dedicated by subnet, so they assigned default gateways on several vmkernel NIC and I wondered why things broke or has never worked.

It also allows better control what interfaces to send data when you have several paths of layer 3 or subnets to communicate with, but it's largely irrelevant and already a point an integral part of an iSCSI network fine grain.

  • Can I use Satellite R630 with Netgear and Intel wireless display technology

    Dear all,

I am a user of a Satellite R630-105 (processor i3 M350). I would use this laptop with Wi - Fi on my plasma on the wall display. Recently, I heard about Intel wireless display technology connected to the Netgear adapter as a possibility for wireless connection to the screen.

Can I use my computer with this technology? If so, what is the process? If not, is there an alternative, using cable is very inconvenient. I'm at the beginner level.

Thank you very much, to come.

  • How can I use the AppleCare with replacements USA helmet in Israel?

How can I use an AppleCare with replacements USA headphones for my iphone in Israel 6plus? Am I covered overseas?

Technically, no. The warranty is valid only in the country where the phone was originally sold. However, that restriction is based on the differences between the models of phones sold in different countries and the availability of substitutes service. You may very well be able to get the headphones replaced here since there is no difference between those who were included in phones AND those that are included with the phones sold in your country. Make an appointment at the genius bar or take it to your local CENTER and see what they can do for you.

  • Can we use emulator ripple with visual studio?

    Hi friend

How can we use emulator ripple with visual studio?

    Thanks in advance,

    Faster

You can use ripple with Visual Studio...

What I do is to create a directory on my machine that has my application in it, then go into Visual Studio and select: «File-> Open-> Web Site...» »

Then I browse and select the directory where I created my app.  It will then open this directory as a Web site in Visual Studio.

When I want to run and debug my application, I press "start without debugging".  This will launch the ASP.NET development for the project server so that I can type in the URL.

I then open the URL in the ripple.  I can just edit the files in Visual Studio, then press refresh (F5) in waving to refresh the content of my application.

Can I use a cartridge with extra flat 564 black ' photo' in a HP Photosmart B110a? Perth, Australia

No, you can't use a Photo cartridge instead a black cartridge. Photo black and black are not the same and that they are not interchangeable. Here a link to a document that I site the prior statement which also goes to explain why the photo cartridges have been renamed and the differences in the picture and Black cartridges. I hope this helps.

  • can I use service Pack3 with Augsburg cloud

can I use service Pack3 with Augsburg cloud

With a few exceptions, you need Windows 7 or 8 to use the Creative Cloud software.

See Tech CC for more details:

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/creativecloud/tech-specs.html

If you do not have the min requirements for CC, you can probably use (also available on the cloud) CS6.

  • Can I use my card to iSCSI existing (vmkernal) to connect to a storage more

    Hello

I have ESX 3.5 and it connected my storage using iSCISI & HA and DRS.

Now, I want to connect a storage more LUNS on this server because I'm out of the problem space.

My question is can I use the same kernel (iSCSI adapter) which already is conencted to the storage to connect new existing storage.

Please help me in this regard.

    Konate

    Hello

If it's the software iSCSI Initiator, then there should be no problem. I have not heard one HBA iSCSI being is limited. Just submit a new LUN from the host ESX Server and iSCSI configuration just like before.

    Best regards

  • The use of frames with iscsi SAN

    Hello

We are moving our warehouses of local DAS to a SAN iscsi in common.

We will have two physical hosts (1 ESX 3.5 and an ESXi 3.5) with two iscsi devices (1 DELL MD3000i and 1 openfiler 2.2 "in the home-built') and two dedicated switches (a 16 ports GBit 1216T one one port 8 Gbps unmanaged Linksys Dlink).

Both iscsi devices have connections ethernet redundand (Dell has 4 ports on 2 different controllers, openfiler has 2 ports), so I planned to distribute connections on two switches for redundancy.

each ESX and ESXi physical hosts have 2 ethernet NIC dedicated to iscsi

    My doubts/questions are:

-is the switch 'Office' of linksys OK for this configuration? Or should I get a second Dlink 1216 T?

-J' need to have the Dell MD3000i to least performance that we conduct with the local SAS DAS storage.

Can I activate "frames" switch and Dell MD300i? What ESX and ESXi? and linksys switch (will it work with thaat jumbo mtu)?

-If I DO NOT activate the Jumbo on openfiles iscsi, will it work with standard MTU even if it is connected to the switches with active Jumbo?

-should I 'team' toghether both connections ethernet in iscsi on the physical ESX/ESXi hosts?

an another question I have is:

-We currently have a LUN iscsi on device openfiler which is accessible using the initiator Microsoft iscsi sw inside a win2k03 virtual machine on the host ESX 3.5. Can I disable initiator Microsoft iscsi inside the virtual machine, log on to this LUN using ESX iscsi sw and have win2k03 to find all the data?

    Thanks in advance

    Guido
