  The issue here is not one of which version of Windows you are using.
  It is one of what you have installed applications.

  What is Windows help & support window suggesting that you download the program hlp old format?

  If so, it indicates that Corel Draw is trying to tell you something with its start-up system [might well be generated by an error condition as Corel Draw 7 is not recognized as compatible Windows 7] and Windows recognizes that it would be necessary to get this old hlp format help system to be able to show you what the app is trying to tell you.

  Allowing Windows to download & install this old help system would be the only way to get rid of the pop-up window.  And then you'd be able to see what Corel Draw was trying to tell you.

  You can try to install CS4 software in MAC 10.8, however in Adobe is not installing software CS4 on MAC 10.8 but you give it a try.

  RoaringApps.com shows PSE 8 for Mac compatible with compatibility reports user with El Capitan and Yosemite.  However, you need to download and install Apple Java for OS X 2015-001 for PSE legacy work.

  What do you mean by upgrade it?  You should be able to simply copy the Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 folder to the applications folder and launch PSE 8 after installation of Java inherited by Apple.

  If the machines use the same version of the software, then the files should be feasible in both machines.

  Read the EULA. Your second activation is not a second license and intended to be used on one computer (laptop or other) when not to use the main computer, not at the same time.

  As in the title, whenever I move an object (or click on the background) in CorelDraw X 5 running under widows 8, the screen goes blue when I release the object that it becomes normal.

  I also hooked up a different monitor and it is mirrored there.
  The laptop is brand new. I had a lot of trouble installing corel from the CD and had to copy the files on my HARD drive and install the program from there. I get a message of inconsistency when you start Corel.
