Can I use my HDR-PJ440 in Skype, or as a webcam?

Hi all

I scoured the internet for support on how to use my hdr-pj440 for Skype and a webcam. I do this for the schooling and to communicate with my family, and to the extent that I failed to get the right answer. I hope that the community can help with this?

Can I use Skype on my TV from my Mac computer using Apple TV?

If you have active mirror and work correctly and you have your microphone and your cameras placed correctly, then Yes you can do it.

I often do with FaceTime and my iPhone, but it is perhaps more easily place the phone immediately below the TV so that everyone is looking towards the camera.

Can I use my TOSHIBA for GSM calls and if SO what software do I need?

    Thank you

You can only use it for a data transfer.

If you want to make a call, you need an internet connection and could use a software like Skype for example.

I reinstalled Skype with English as the language of choice. Skype has always with the same "non-English language. I do not use that language for any other purpose on this laptop.

  • I use windows XP service pack 3 and I can't connect to the internet on your laptop even if I can connect using my other devices.

I have tried everything I can think of nothing doesn't. The strange thing is that it connects as usual and I can even use Skype and download updates, but I can't surf the net. I can't understand. I have tried ipconfig release and then renew, repairs of stack TCP/IP, Winsock reset and the use of different browsers. I ran the XP connection troubleshooting tool and received the following message, that this is probably caused by your firewall settings

"check the settings of the firewall for the HTTP port (80), HTTPS (443) AND ftp PORT (21) port.

The problem is that I can't change my firewall settings that I can not start the firewall and get this error message every time I try

Cannot start the service Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on the Local computer.
Error 0 x 80004015: the class is configured to run as a different caller's security id

I downloaded the hotfix from microsoft, but it made no difference unfortunately.

I use AVG 2011 antivirus protection. I tried connecting via the wireless and wired. I did ipconfig and tried to rattle of my other devices and my router and everything seems normal because they can communicate with each other. See below.

Hello I want to know if vh410/vh110 can be used to make voip calls via computer as on Skype/gtalk etc.

    Short answer: Yes!

Long response (er): it really depends on our PC/Bluetooth configuration. If you experience problems, upgrade the bluetooth drivers generally seems to solve this problem.

  • Can I use a blue tooth cell phone headset (Nokia BH-100 say) on my laptop into the microphone.

Can I use a blue tooth cell phone headset (Nokia BH-100 say) on my laptop like microphone (headset). As I need to talk on Skype very often. Have a normal headphone cable drag restricted my moving around. It would be better that I can use the headset blue tooth replace my normal headphones.

My laptop has built-in bluetooth function. How would the connection? Would it not as easy as connecting normal bluetooth with my cell phone to transfer files? Thank you. :) FYI, I am currently using Windows Vista SP1, Acer Aspire 4935.

From what I can find, this would require a custom program to do this. It is not available in Windows, as it is. All that being said, I must say that it is not available.

There are sets without wireless/Bluetooth on the market for the PC headset/microphone, so you might be "unplugged". Mark <> Microsoft Partner
