Because these files are financial aid, they must be safe. This process is supposed to eliminate a lot of paper consumption. Is Adobe LiveCycle Designer tool that can help me do this?   Designer can help you build the shape, but it will not allow the transfer of the form. If you want to automate the transfer of the PDF from the form (click on a "submit" button) there are only certain protocols supported. Secure FTP is not one of them. You can submit using HTTPs to a server program and who have to update your system, or send it otherwise you will have to use another program to transfer the file over to you.

  Yes. A simple way is to use the layers panel. You can also do this in the menu object.

  However, that's the answer direct to your question, no, you can't put a region locked in an editable region, however, you can split an editable region in two editable regions, separated by a non-editable area.

  I'm probably in the hope a little too much here, but in the past, I've created editable pdf forms by setting the entire doc in IDCS3 and then to create the form in Acrobat Pro.

  I don't think that IDCS5 has added a trick new (a little hidden feature) to be able to create all (including fields etc.) in the ID?

  We have users who use CD player and none of them are able to save regular editable PDF files, PDF files read-only. The only options that appear for the option Save as others are "text' and 'word or excel." In older versions, there is a PDF option here that allow them to record read-only. When you go to save as and recording it in pdf format, it is always editable. There is no other option to save it as Save a Copy as I've seen in other articles. Can you please tell me how this can be done? Thank you.

  Sign the PDF file use the certificate in Acrobat Reader ms (you'll find it under the Tools tab), to create a digital signature & sign the PDF.

  It will secure your PDF & restrict any changes.

  Open Acrobat Reader DC, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences-> Page Display menu-> set your required Zoom percentage.

  Click OK to confirm the change.

  Restart the Acrobat Reader DC to test.
