can not duplicate the audio channel

I shot a video with a video camera Sony borrowed pro. When I transfer a video file in first, it shows an audio left and right channel. My right channel is complete messed up. It comes a with camera input mixing console, set to the wrong setting. So I try to use the left channel only. But, I would like to reproduce and also do it for the right channel. But, when I try to go to the Clip > Modify > Audio > Clip change and try to make the process of change Channel, a large number of settings are grayed out and when I press OK, nothing happens. I'm a total novice at first and look at tutorials throughout the day. The only reason I bought the first was that I had to be able to remove the right side of my audio and duplicate so I can have a mono full its made from the left lane. And I'm totally stuck now.

Use the audio effect of fill from right to the left.  You can even use it on the entire track in the effects of mixing (Special part).

  • Can not find the audio fade handles

    Hello!

I use iMovie 10.1.2 on an iMac running El Capitan.

I can not fade in or out the audio tracks of blue color (aka in the foreground), but I have no problem making tracks to the color green (aka the bottom). When I place the pointer on a trail of blue color, the small yellow circle does not appear. What I am doing wrong?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi, deomedia,

You do it right.  Placing the pointer over an item in the Assembly should reveal the handles of fade on each side of the blue audio.  Place the pointer over a clip in the media pane will not reveal the handles.  The clip must be in the time line.  If you are in the timeline panel and you are not able to get the handles fade by placing the pointer over the clip, it is possible that there is a conflict somewhere in your project or your iMovie app.

Try to see if this happens with all clips or just one.  See also, if it happens to other projects as well.

If this happens with all clips or in other projects, try to delete the preferences of closing iMovie then reopening while now down the command and option keys.  Delete the preferences in the dialog that results.  Then see if that solves the problem.

If this does not work, you can try to create a new project and then copying to it your media in your current project and see if the problem replicates.

Otherwise, you might try to open iMovie in a different user account.

Any other default, you may have to reinstall iMovie.

    Troubleshooting can take time.

Just to mention, there is another way to get an audio fade.  In the timeline panel, move the pointer over the horizontal line of volume and click on it while pressing the option key.   Who puts a point on the line of volume.   Then, right next to him, place another point using the same method.  Place as many points you need to get off the line volume, and then you can adjust the volume by moving the points upwards or downwards.

  • PowerBook G4 can not get the audio signal of the MacBook Air

My MacBook Air (early 2014) have no audio input. I try to connect the audio output of my MacBook Air to the audio of my PowerBook G4, but it does detect any sounds when I play something on my MacBook Air. I tried the same thing with my iPhone 5 c and the PowerBook detects the sound of the iPhone. I know that there really large gap between the PowerBook G4 and MacBook Air but PowerBook should be able to detect the sound of the MacBook Air.

If you plug in regular headphones for the MacBook Air, do you get sound in the headphones?

I hit continue and I'm in the form of multi track. from there if I try to go to the Edit screen, I get a runtime error, R605 Pure virtual function call. I got that close and it crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe.

  • Audio input Inspiron 15 3000 can not detect the headset

Audio input Inspiron 15 3000 can not detect the headset, but audio dell can detect something trendy. However, the playback sound device cannot detect any helmet. Now I only get gurgling in the helmet. How to solve this problem?

Hello. To test the headphone switch the native Windows audio driver Realtek audio driver.

    1. open Device Manager (type devmgmt.msc in the box of Windows search).
    2. develop the 'audio controllers, video & game' and right click on "Realtek High Definition Audio".
3 Select this option to "Update driver software".
    4. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
    5. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers on my computer".
    6. put the "Show compatible hardware" check box if not already checked.
    7. in the list of devices, click on 'High Definition Audio"(native driver).
    8. click on "next".
    9. in the update driver warning box, click 'Yes' (the driver).
10 restart the portable computer if you are prompted. If not invited, so no need to restart.
[To return to the Realtek driver, do it again but reverse the names in steps 1-6.]

If it is still bubbling even with the native driver, test by using other headphones. If still no luck then probably hardware failure. Contact technical support for warranty repair.

If it works fine with the native driver, then the Realtek driver is buggy. Try a different version of the driver. If you need help with this answer comes back with the full model name (something like "Inspiron 11 3147", etc.) and which operating system there.

  • Why can I not hear the audio in my first items 11 projects

I can't hear the audio in one of my projects, even the old projects that had no problem in the past. I can hear audio for the media before that I have to add to a project but then once imported I can't hear them. I don't see the audio track in the timeline panel.

I even added a few finished projects created with elements in the past and once in the project I hear no audio

I tried a number of types of files, MP4, Mpeg, WMV and can not hear one of them

I did a quick change in a media file then published it and I can hear the audio once it is published. So this is a problem within the project

    Any idea?

Have you, by chance, recently recorded narration with a USB microphone?

In Premiere Elements, go to the preferences (under the Edit menu on a computer) and open the page of Audio material. Click on the settings button. What is your output on?

  • Duplicate the physical channel with virtual channel

I accidentally created more global virtual channel with a single physical channel, for example:

    global virtual channel physical channel

    A0 vtc00

    A0 vtc01

    A0 vtc02

    My questions are:

    1. How can I change the virtual channel as follows:

    global virtual channel physical channel

    A0 vtc00

    A1 vtc01

    A2 vtc02

2-How do I re-name/remove the virtual global channel, when it is not in the task?

    Thanks for your time, Dylan

    Hello Carisa,.

I decided to go head re - install the DAQmx tonight and re-imported the right config file known about it.  So far, all global virtual channels are now under the management of devices and interfaces plus all unwanted virtual channels have disappeared - Yippee!  I tried to browse a unit test to make sure that the virtual channels work too, they seem good.

Finally, the issue is resolved.  I would like to say thank you to you for you and Roberto Bozozlo have spent the time to help me through this.

    Sincerely, Dylan

  • I can not all the sounds from my computer

I can not all the sounds from my computer. I hae tried to click place volume icon in the taskbar, but it won't let me and she also come with 'there is no active mixer device. To install mixer devices, go to control panel, click Printers and other hardware, and then click hardware, but it's not it will fade. Please can someone help me.

The sndvol32.exe file is possibly corrupt.

To replace, there are two methods:

    (1) open the Windows Explorer > tools > Options > view > make sure that show hidden files and folders is NOT checked. Access the c:\windows\system32\dllcache and locate sndvol32.exe > copy it into the following folder c:\windows\system32, overwrite the existing file. > Re-boot, you should now have access to your sound mixer and be able to place the icon on the taskbar. If for any reason any you do not find the dllcache folder:

    (2) put your XP CD in a driver, don't let it start. Then: Start > run > type in msconfig > enter or OK > extract a file > 1st enter in sndvol32.exe > in the second point of the box to your CD player > 3rd enter in c:\windows\system32 > extract file > run over if necessary, close everything and restart.

If the above does not work, re - install you 'audio drivers, although I would only do it as a last ditch measure.

    See you soon,.
