  For burning and copying of discs, I can recommend that the freeware CD Burner XP tools. It of really small and fast tool, never had any problems with it.

  Unfortunately I wasn't able to find out what WLAN card is inside, but it must be Atheros or Intel, so I recommend you try to install the two drivers for Windows XP Home edition.

  Try to install Windows XP Home version for Atheros 9.2.0.419.0 or Windows XP Home version 9.0.4.39 for Intel.

  I have spent far too long trying to solve this problem by myself and need to reach out to someone who may have solved this problem. I read tons of questions similar online and restarted from dozens of times after trying many different things.

  I have a carbon 3444-GCU Touch who can not see his fingerprint reader. It used to work when it is brand new, but after many updates from lenovo and windows, it now does not work:
