  I got McAfee, but the connection has started working again on its own so I thought I was clear of problems.   The three files are each about 5 MB smaller than they should be according to the information that remains in the file. About a third of each file is missing. Something has truncated the file and unfortunately there is not enough left to save a .muse file.

  Truncation of file can have several different causes:

  (1) withdrawal of a device from storage without ejecting first. (This is a more common cause on Mac and Windows, but can result in truncated or other files corrupted on a platform.)

  (2) Failed or incomplete file transfer or synchronization (drop box, etc.).

  (3) storage of defective/faulty media.

  If the files are stored in a synced folder (i.e. Dropbox, Creative Cloud Files folder, Google Reader, Apple iDrive, MS OneDrive, etc.) you can access the latest versions synchronized in the cloud and can so be able to revert to a version from before the event of truncation.

  A good wireless network name is...

  ... In short no more than 20 characters

  Simple... no special characters like an apostrophe, dollar sign, asterisk, etc.

  Compact, without spaces in the name

  For example, a wireless network network name as... red .dfedoryk Apple wireless network... .is not what you want. Something like... .dfedorykwireless. .. masse are much more likely to connect to non-Apple devices.

  Same guidelines your password

  (2) Apple gives the same name to network 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network that produces double router band.  Some non-Apple devices are confused by the present, you may need to use the option to assign a different name for the network of 5 GHz on the router from Apple. Then, 'point' your device to the network name specific to which you want to connect.
