  sdgardne is correct, that you must have a BlackBerry data plan to use the App World.  I think that this could be an agreement that has been in place between the RIM and the carriers to ensure that carriers do not have losers completely on App World.  Like that, they are always guaranteed fresh data.

  Unfortunately, there is no way around that.

  Note that Wifi is not considered to be a data plan because the data are transmitted via the cellular network.  I know this can be confusing, but once you understand the correct definitions for things, you will see that it is indeed correct.

• How can I get Firefox to load pages correctly and stop asking me to add to every page I visit as a "security exception"?

  I just downloaded the latest version of Firefox today because it is necessary for some of the websites that I need for my course at the college level. I have a 64 bit system, which is the only issue I can think might be causing the problem. I went through and tried to change almost all of the settings, and nothing has helped. I am at my wit's end because I have homework to do and can't because of this problem.

  Have you tried to start Firefox in Mode safe? Key 'shift' startup of Firefox. It could be related to an extension. Then you should read the extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common troubleshooting Firefox problems.

  I see you are using an older version of Firefox as well. You can update. There are many advantages to the performance of the latest version of the browser.

  try to clear your cache and cookies to see if that solves the problem. Incase it doesn't work, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

  Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete the other files of cookie present as cookies.sqlite - journal in the Firefox profile folder where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

  Start Firefox in Mode safe to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
