  You don't have to log in to Firefox. Firefox is just a browser, such as Internet Explorer. Everything you have to do is double-click it and open it. It's like Internet Explorer.   As more than first level help desk people, they are idiots! They are lucky to know enough to pick up the phone if it makes a noise.

  If their network or range of IP addresses is blacklisted only they can fix.
  I would ask to have this comeback for someone who knows something.
