  We read that the new version of Oracle Forms is Oracle Forms Services 11 g. Is Oracle Forms 11g compatible with Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.8.0 Services - 64 bit? or we will have to migrate our Oracle 11g RDBMS?
  
  If our database is compatible, what would we have needed to develop and deploy applications with Oracle Forms 11 g Services?

  That it is compatible or not: 9.2.0.8 database is supported, which means you get patches for it. So even if it's compatible I would opt to upgrade to a newer version, because I wouldn't feel uncomfortable that the product is not supported by out in production.

  If you look at the VICommon.pm module, you will see the::Connect() Util function analysis actually url, user name, and password.

  Looking at the code, it seems that you can just call Util::Connect ($url, $username, $password); assuming that you do not set the user name, password or url methods described in the Guide to Programming Perl VI (do not set environment variables or set the values of the Options in the script or the command line argv array).

  You can use the sessionfile option to store the session cookie, unless you are already doing your own management of cookies, in which case, you will need to look at some of the features which are not usually used in a standard VI Perl script.  There are some functions of "low level" in VICommon.pm, you can take advantage.  Essentially you'll be bypassing the main option handles the login process.

The others are selected but not verified.

  Is there an option I'm missing here, or I don't have to write code to manually mark? If I need to write the code, is the best way to check the State KEYPRESS if EVENT_SELECTION_CHANGE?

  It is not really a built-ins that will allow you to change the font of the tree node label. You might be able to do this with Java, but you must write your own Java Bean to implement. It might be easier to simply add an asterisk (*) to the label programmatically by using the Set-Tree-Node - Property () built-in, but there are problems with the removal of the asterisk when you exit the selected node or select a new node. It can be solved, but you'll have to save all of the information you will need to reset the node - just namly the Node_ID.
