  I messed up my computer.  Help!

  I have windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.  I have little knowledge of computer.  I noticed that my computer does not seem to be updated.  With a few edits, I could get updated to work & there were 61 necessary updates.  I made them last night and this morning it changed everything on my computer.  I can't access windows live mail.  My printer is gone.  It seems that I really this damn & don't know how to fix this mess.  I can restore back or?  I don't really know what to do.  All responses should do step by step to a fool.

  Step 1:

  Check your firewall and cookie settings
  Maybe the internet browser doesn't accept some cookies

  I have little knowledge of the software, but NO idea on how to fix or hotmail email address tells me to go to a place where I've lost more than before.   Then my password does not work and no access to e-mail.   I do not have a mobile (whatever) and I'm going to another site (Yahoo) so I can use what I paid for... Because windows must advance their tech.  doesn't mean I have to.

  1. You use the same account with Skype and Hotmail to connect to Windows 8?
  2. You will be able to log-in to Hotmail account Skype and use the desktop version?
  3. What is the full error message?
  4. Are referring to the single-use code when you say it takes an access code?

  I can't access my hotmail account using Thunderbird but I can't use Hotmail/Outlook account directly.

  I have been using Outlook for awhile until that this new update, which I hate. I moved to Thunderbird. I accepted all the automatic setting parameters when adding to my Thunderbird mail accounts and everything seemed to work OK except the #2 error message popped up sometimes when I tried batch delete e-mails from the Inbox. This error seems to solve quickly and emails have been deleted.

  Now, this morning when I try to access my hotmail emails with Thunderbird, nada :( The last email from hotmail, which is in my Thunderbird inbox is dated 11/18/2016 @ 06:02

  Note: I found workaround while waiting for someone to answer me in the chat support. I've been #50... !! So had plenty of time to continue its investigation. Since I had another account on outlook.com that worked, and everything by exploring the menus to find something that could unblock me, I saw the concept of alias, which gave me the idea of trying to create an alias in outlook.com for the account... :-)
