  I'm installing MS wic_x64_enu.exe and get the error message: «Setup cannot find the update.inf file needed to update your system» I run SFC.exe and found no errors. I also reinstalled. NET40. and I still get the same error message.
  I am Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 bit on a HP PC with an AMD Phenom 9150e Quad Core processor 1.8 GHz and 8.00 GB RAM.
  I worked on it for a few days without result.

  LCM 1.0.2 supports this operating system for customization. Most likely, the problem is in VCenter himself.

  Can take you a look at the VC newspapers to see what the problem with the customization?

  In addition, you can try the same cloning/customization directly from VCenter to see if he succeeds?

  I need to customize the skin of the PlayBar and put our new totally brand design.

  I know that the default skin files are found under folder Templates. Should I take one of these fla files and customize it with our new model?

  I have another option in my mind, but do not know if it works. I guess I can hide the playback bar and create my own buttons on the stage and in this way can build the scene with my own reading bar control.

  Do you think one is better? I need your comments.

  The question is not so much what you CAN do with buttons in Captivate to replace the PlayBar, but what one MUST do one way or the other.

  It must be remembered as it is currently impossible to add interactive objects such as buttons to master slides or quiz question slides. So if you do not create your own playback bar customized with all the keys you need, you will end up having to replicate the same button, set each slide of your project, which is a lot of buttons to maintain. But then when you get to your quiz slides, you will not be able to add same buttons here.

  So if you have the resources to customize your own reading bar, which seems to be the best option from a perspective of low maintenance.

  To customize the BEEP homepage, you must edit the 'login.jsp' file that is located in the following location

  D:\Middleware\OBI\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\servers\AdminServer\tmp\_WL_user\bipublisher_11.1.1\gyyvtu\war

  (This is the location of my installation configuration and it may be different on your side)

  File open login.jsp and search for file "oraclelogo" image and you will find the location of the source of the logo file.

  Place your new logo image to the location of the source and edit your file login.jsp accordingly.

  Similarly, search for "BI Publisher" and rename your company new brand name.

  Next:

  Navigate to the location

  D:\Middleware\OBI\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\config\bipublisher\repository\Admin\Translation

  Search for the file "XMLP_en_US.xlf".

  You can search for "BI Publisher" and rename your company new brand name.

  Please note that you must change your 'target' name and don't change the name of the source.

  I am running my VMmark with the agent 6.0 update vCSA 2.  Most of the awnsers I found to this problem are the Windows version of vcenter.  It looks to its find the deploy.cab file, but for some reason any fails to complete customization.  Any help would be apperciated.

  Please try to see if you can manually deploy your model.  Here are the steps:

  1. The vsphere Web Client, right-click on your deployment model.
  2. Select "new virtual machine of this model.
  3. In the name box, enter "DeployVM0".
  4. Select the correct location of the DC, and then click Next.
  5. Select your cluster, and then click Next.
  6. Select your LUNS and click Next.
  7. Click on the box "Power on a virtual machine after creation" so that it is enabled.
  8. Check the box "Customize the operating system", and then click Next.
  9. Select the "StandbyCust" specification, and then click Next.
  10. Click Finish.

  Watch the deployment and customization of vSphere Web Client. You should be able to see the power of the virtual machine and customize from the console without logging in. Wait about 5 minutes to see if all the cloning and the specification of the OS process completed.  Then without logging in the newly created DeployVM, from the first client, at a command prompt, type the following.
