  Updated to 10 MS today and my photoshop CS 6 requires the reactivation of use it. It automatically tries to get the activation code by going online, but it stops and says unable to connect at this time, "calling support '; but cannot get Adobe by phone and this phone says trail finally this product only is not supported by phone.  To start it requires an activation code and go online to get a response code requires a request for code I do not have. What is the next step? I just want to be back up and working. Thanks for any help.

  I read almost all of the threads on this subject and tried several things without success.

  I followed some advice from edinbob (sorry if I spelled it wrong), but nothing works. I'm a little computer illiterate... Please take pity, and have patience if you have taken the time to read this.

  I have an HP computer, it says as 256-bit, and windows 7.

  I see no videos on youtube since the update to adobe, trying to install version 10, and a virus warning all as captured AVG (don't know if that has something to do with it)

  I downloaded the exe to install adobe, I downloaded the uninstall program, I downloaded the Remover Mcaffee also.

  I removed Mcaffee with solvent and uninstalled something else Mcaffe section delete.

  I temporarily turned off AVG and the firewall of Windows while painful to install it.

  Nothing has worked. What I am doing wrong?

  Before doing anything to your topic, I want to assure you that your system is clean. Go to www.malwarebytes.org and download the free Version on your desktop. If it is not updated automatically, then click on update on their toolbar and the update. When it's over, then disable AVG:

  Open the AVG User Interface. (Right click to open)
  Double-click the resident shield.
  Uncheck the active resident shield.

  Save the changes.

  Now run a Scan with MBAM (malwarebytes) and follow all the instructions, if they are malware.

  When it's over, you can Re-enabled moy.

  I'll check on tune as soon as I can, running behind today.

• Cannot get icloud update in order to install

  I ccan can't get the 5.1 update iCloud to install on my Windows 7 laptop. I've never had a problem before. I am the new iTune and Quicktime update. There no pictures in my iCloud Photos more when I backed up my iPad. I had to fix iCloud 3.1 and it can take-off them but they should return after I backed up my iPad. I don't have OS 9.2 but OS 9.1 on the one I backed up. Should I backup my other iPad which has the OS 9.2 on it?

  I understand that you need help to unravel the problem you are having with the iCloud Control Panel for Windows and your Photos. The current iCloud control panel available right now for Windows 7 is 3.1.  ICloud Control Panel for Windows 5.1 requires Windows 10.

  Requirements for iCloud

  If you were able to get iCloud 3.1 installed for Windows Control Panel, you can only access the functionality of my photo stream.  This allows you a look at the last 30 days of photos on your computer or iOS device.

  What happens to my photos if I turn off my photo stream?

  If you disconnect from the iCloud or disable my photo stream on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, all photos in the album My Photo Stream are removed from this device. All the photos in my photo stream you have imported all the photo album and the Photos tab are also deleted.

  Photos from my photo stream on your other devices are not affected. Photos from my photo stream will remain on the server iCloud for 30 days from the date that download you them on my photo stream. If you connect to iCloud with the same Apple ID and turn on my photo stream on another device, the pictures will download automatically.

  Before turning off my photo stream, you must save all the photos you want to keep on your device. Learn more about saving your photos.

• Cannot get rid of "True HP cartridge installed" message.

  I installed a new black cartridge of HP60XL in my D2600 and from that moment, every time I have print (even a simple one word 'test' in Notepad), I get 20-30 of these pop-up messages.  I am aligned the cartridges in the HP Solution Center utility.  I checked that the contacts are clean.

  I really need this print feature and the nearest store is 200 miles!  I bought genuine cartridges (as he reminds me), but the printer is almost unusable without the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome of the clicking suite of annoying messages.

  What can be done to fix this problem?

  Thanks for the tip to register - I checked and I have the 'key to the utility system print', so I thought something could be wrong to install it.  I ran the HP update application and it is a critical update for "PC printer communications.  It was not a quick fix; the first print job loaded up the spooler, so I reset the spooler and now everything is back to normal. prints fast and not annoying pop-up messages.  The update made to create the registry setting by your suggestion and this must be the solution.  Thank you - your answer got me on the right path for the solution.
