  1. you are able to go to your printer properties and change your settings for printing in black and white only, without having to change it whenever you want to print something. See the steps listed below:

  * Go to your devices and printers

  * Right-click on your 6700 and select Print Options

  * Select your desired default and press Ok

  2. you cannot print without all cartridges installed because even if printing black and white printer will still use the ink contained in the cartridges of color for maintenance tasks.   In the lightroom print section, there are always 2 thin white bars on each side of printing to indicate that printing will not be without borders, whether a print portrait or landscape, it is the same when printing... 2 ugly thin white bars. I've attached a screenshot of what I see my end.

  What it looks like to me, is that the culture of the image is different from the culture of paper, so you see the white bars. By clicking on Zoom to fill should solve the problem.

As you know a printer when it prints a picture, it makes all the colours of yellow, magenta and cyan, even in the dark.   What is your size of cell on in the print module? Cell size sliders must be completely to the right, and the margins should be set to 0.

  I am the Illustrator who produces PDF images for our design service, we have just recently updated to Windows 7 PC, Framemaker 11 and the complete Adobe Creative Suite cloud. Technical publications we produce contain thousands of illustrations in jpeg, tif, cgm, cc4 and pdf due to data transmission format, but all the new and changed, illustrations I want to provide as a pdf. I can solve the problem by exporting the illustrations as TIF or JPEG files, but is not to solve the problem of pdf content.

  Problem solved.

  The software company solved the problem PDF, there was a problem with the encoding when PDF images have been used for a particular frame size document that we use for maintenance procedures. The question did not arise when any other image format has been used only PDFs. due to existing data, images, databases and security reasons, a number of applications that we use have had a few recoding and unfortunately this causes us some problems until the bugs are sorted.

  I'm kinda a newbie on Indesign (much better in Photoshop) and this is driving me crazy.  It's never happened before.

  I have a two page CMYK document.

  A part of the text (modified with pen base, transparency and angle) and the graphic still refuses printing, our laser printer or even in pdf format.

  If you want to make a PDF, export (to say "High quality print") do not print in PDF format.  Then try to print.  It could be that your printer is having problems with transparency should contribute to the export to PDF format.  You may need to use the parameter PDFx-1a if your printer drivers are quite old.

  If they are not there in the exported PDF objects may have a nonprintable attribute set, you can see this by selecting the element and looking at the attributes Panel.

  I think that if there is a problem in the driver, it would be obvious. You might want to try trashing preferences before you do anything more drastic. See replace your preferences

  There are scripts to impose, but print booklet is the built-in choices.  That said, unless your printer specifiacally told you to make pasta spread, or if you yourself are the printer, DO NOT. It is the printer to impose your file to fit its equipment and you'll just make more work for everyone, or even make your job cannot print, if you try to do his work for him.
