Cannot remove tags of multiple files

I can't believe I can't get this to work.

I have 15 images with the same 10 tags in each file. One of the keywords is 'banana' and I want to remove all files of 15.

I select all the files of 15. When I do that it becomes 'active' (he gets a lighter than the other 14 images grey highlight).

I then go in the Keywording Panel and manually remove "banana" in the list.

When I look through files to see the change all but one that was active STILL has the word "banana" applied.

I also tried selecting the 15 files and the file without the keyword active banana does and run "Synchronization metadata" and removed "banana" the "Keywords" field in the dialog box. Same thing is happening. No change to the files that are not active.

What I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Unicorn

Simple. Don't take pictures of bananas!

In fact, I think that you must select photos in the grid, and not in the film. Remove keywords should work as expected, and then when you try to remove the keyword, the keyword will be removed from all the selected photos.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 a A910a - cannot save pdf in multiple files via touch screen

    Hello world

My problem is that I can't save my scans in multiple files (.pdf) If you use the "scan to file function" via the touch screen on my Officejet Pro 8500 A910a a shortcut. It works when scaning manually from the computer, but I need to work from the printer/scanner.

The only way that the scan shortcut saves each page separately (works the way I need) is when you save as a .jpg file, but this isn't the exit, I need. I search for an .xml file change the shortcuts manually, but have not found one. Since my other printer 8500 A909a can analyze each page in a single .pdf file, it must be a question of settings that the A910a does not offer this parameter directly.

I appreciate any assistance with this problem.

    Hi RnRMusicMan,

the solution you are suggesting is what I have now and the reason why I even started this thread. Analysis each page separately from the touch screen is a pain in the a * and analysis of PC via a scan profile is not the way to go for me either. Thank you in any case, it seems like it is actually a problem in the software and I have to be careful next time, choose a new printer.

    Hi Koumack,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that you are trying to save your scans in multiple files (.pdf) using the analysis of the function of file.

That's what I could find in my resources:

How to perform a scan: from the control panel

Breast of HP Scan, select scan on a daily basis, and then click Advanced settings, select the file tab and check create a separate file for each scanned page. Click OK. It should work from the software.

Otherwise, even if it may be a longer process, as a work around the printer, you can scan a page using the scanner glass.

Hope this helps and have a nice day.

I suggest you to download Microsoft Safety Scanner, scan your computer for viruses and malware then check how it works.

You can download Microsoft Safety Scanner from the link "scan to Microsoft Security.

  • Cannot remove the Canon CR2 file (xp)

I'm not "allowed" to delete files Canon Camera Raw (CR2) on my computer, even though I am the only user and I am officially the 'administrator', always, somehow I have not sufficient permissions!

I have windows xp, files are downloaded through the utility supplied with my 5 d Canon.  They are saved in a folder on an external hard drive, which is now complete.  These files are HUGE, and I have many, many concerts to empty.
The official error from the Explorer, tells me that I can't delete because the file is 'used by another person or program ".  Not true.  I'm the only one here.
I restart, open the Explorer ONLY and still cannot delete.
I also tried to remove thanks to Adobe Bridge, this error message says that I don't have "sufficient" to remove.
I checked the properties of folders, they are not locked or read-only.
(Not only can I not delete it, but I can't move or change the name of the file.)
    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

  • Multiple files of the same image.

Hi all. I use Bridge on my Apple iMac to view and work with my photos. When I sync my iPhone on my iMac it duplicates all photos again. So I have in some cases on an exact same hundred photos. IE it is not ignoring the existing files, just copy them over and over again, everytime I sync. It's taking a huge amount of space on my Mac. When I go into 'Images' on the Mac through Finder there are no duplicates, in the bridge.

    I have 2 questions:

    (1) there must be something wrong with my settings when I sync the phone and click on "Get photos".

Please can someone advise what boxes should be checked? This will stop if all goes well the multiple duplicates that passes for future synchronization.

    (2) what can someone advise a simple way to remove all the multiple files in bridge and just keep one file for each photo. Making manually going a hundred years!

    Hi Richard,

You say that when you go into images, you see only simple images. It is not possible to have multiple images on a single image. So somewhere on your Mac is one or more files with copies of your images.

Given that the bridge does not show images of several files at the same time (unless you have told bridge to access all images embedded in the same folder of subsequent records).

What you can do is click right (or Ctrl-click) on the image and select "reveal in Finder," halfway. That will show you where on your disk hard the images are. If they are outside your image folder that life is easy: simple to do a command for that all images in this folder are selected and send them all in the trash. Since you have the originals in your pictures folder, you may not get rid of everything except copies.

Now, the problem itself. You do a synchronization of images in Bridge or from iTunes?

Let us know how you train with all of this.

  • EL CAPITAN: Cannot remove multiple tags in a folder

    Hello

I've recently updated (and unfortunately if) to El Capitan and experienced multiple issues, which I'm currently talking with Apple technology. The most recent discovery is that I can not remove many tags applied to a folder of items. I have to delete them individually, and it's a pain because I added more than 100 items in this folder.

If anyone knows the same thing, please let me and Apple know.

Inside this folder, select all the files. Right-click on one of the selected files. In the context menu, click tags... Back space all the tags that appear in the text field. Press ENTER. This will remove all tags (including several tags in a file) all selected files.

    Tested: OS X 10.11.4

  • Cannot modify the properties file or Tags on .wav files

Recently, I noticed that you cannot change the property information or the tag of the file on file .wav audio as you can do it on other types of audio.  Either using the file explore. change the properties or advanced in WMP11 tag editor, all the fields are grayed and shelter directly editing.  This is not the case for all other types of audio files, I tried.

Curiously, the fields are editable by WMP if you can manually find Album Info or just edit the individual fields directly in the screen of the library.  Unfortunately, it is not acceptable, because it means that you can not change at the same time, more than a single field in a single file and then only if this field is represented as a column in the WMP library.

It seems very strange to me; This seems to be a limitation in Windows itself, since even the file Explorer will not let update you the file properties (for example, title, subject, author, comments, etc.).  I really need to save as the original .wav files so they can be changed later (and not lose the content of compression), but I have no way to correctly annotate files!  Does anyone know of a way around this?  Thanx

(Using XP on multiple computers - same problem on all of them.)

    Hello V7Goose,

I think you'll have to come back to apply 3rd party to do what you are looking for.  Otherwise, it will take forever to tag your music one by one.  There are some that you can make a search that may be free.  I just found this one, I don't know if it of good or not, I wanted to give you an idea of what is out there.

  • Try to remove a CD image file, get the error message "this action cannot be completed because the file is open in another program.

I am trying to remove a file from CD image (.img) of my office

When I try to put it in the bin I get the message

"The action cannot be completed because the file is open in another program close the file, and then try again"

First, I checked the obvious things like if the .img file was mounted in a virtual drive - it isn't so I then used LockHunter to find which application is using the file so I can close by the Task Manager.

Unfortunately LockHunter told me that the file is used by 'System' - which cannot be closed through the TM.

    Any help?

The problem is that the program that allows you to mount the image always uses the image.  In my case I used the magical disc. Go to the start menu find the magic disk or folder folder, there should be an option to uninstall the magic disc. I tried UN-installing conrtol add and remove programs but it wouldn't let me. You can also click on computer in Start menu and see if the file you want to remove is always mounted (appears as a CD image). In this case that you can click the eject disc hit.

  • Error: "this action cannot be completed because the file is open in another program" when trying to remove the Windows Media Player folder to rebuild the database

I tried to delete the folder 'Media Play' in App\Data but still received this message "the action cannot be completed because the file is open in another program '. '"

I need to remove this folder in order to correct the problem with my playlists :(

    Hi Unpreghini,

    1. What is the problem you are having with playlists?

Start the computer in safe mode and then try to recreate the database of Windows Media Player. To do this, try this step.
Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode
    a. see start your computer in safe mode: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
    b. connection to the problem user account.

Step 2: Rebuild the media player database
    a. Click Start, type run, click Run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.
    b. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.
    c. restart Windows Media Player.
    d. check if the problem persists.

Note: Windows Media Player will automatically rebuild the database.

  • Windows 7, cannot remove the burn files after back to the top

I have a 64 bit Windows 7 laptop. A year ago I started a return upwards to put on a disc. The backup failed at the time because I ran out of records to put on (had no idea that it would take as much!).

Since then I tried to delete these temporary burn files from the F drive, but every time I click on the option, it breaks down and wrote files are used by another program. I went through and individually deleted most of them, but I still have a few huge to get the judgment and cannot remove the program (86), or on the desktop to the top, mean that they are used by another program.

I burned a CD of all these left during the backup of files and that worked, but the files are still sitting in my drive F, I still can't delete the temporary versions... its taking a lot of space and I got the bsod a couple of times.

I also tried folder in the start menu and delete the temporary files in this way, but it did not result in the F drive.

I tried to rename the temporary files so that I could remove them too, but not to chance it.

I have disc clean up all the time, this doesn't always help with the F drive.

    Your opinion would be appreciated!

How can I access these temporary files to remove safe mode back Burns?

Files waiting to be burned are kept in this hidden folder:
