Cannot remove the Application

Hello

I am able to run the application in the IDE. I push the application thoroughly and close the application. The second time, when I try to access the app, it does not, the icon is faded and also I am unable to delete app.

Finally my solution will like, target Naigator-> select Simulator-> select process-> emit SIGKILL .

I have to do the entire process every time. What are the scenarios that could cause this problem? Is this something with the code or the simulaor / device?

Please help me with possible solutions.

Thank you

SHA

Thanks for the suggestion.

Cross, I checked the application.

In main.cpp, I used::exec() App twice what has caused the problem.

Kind regards

SHA

  • Cannot remove the application of EPMA

    Hi all

I use EPMA 11.1.1.3 to manage Essbase applications. Everything worked fine until I accidentally deleted the Regional service console cube, EPMA not. Now, every time I select this request in EPMA is showing "30:6519:Target application does not exist" and EPMA is not letting me to remove the application. Does anyone know how to remove the application of EPMA gracefully? I know that I can do since the SQL backend, but looking for a more "correct" solution Thank you.

    Kind regards
    Gerd

If you rebuild the application to the Regional service, then try again and delete does the problem still exist, I have not tried it could still be a problem because it will report it as an essbase app and not a planning application, always worth a go well.

    Hello world

I installed logical web 11 g/OBIEE on a 64-bit windows 7 (Enterprise mode) environment for a proof of concept. I have set up external authentication against the OID and retrieve external data groups. These two functions operate correctly. However, when I create a new custom Application role and assign a group to the table of external database with this custom application role - and then try:

    (1) completely remove the custom application role

  • Cannot open the application "Mail" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported

I work on a MacBook Pro mid 2012

    Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz

    OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

The Mail app suddenly quit and when I tried to resume, I got this message

"Cannot open the application"Mail"because the PowerPC applications are no longer supported."

This also happens with the "Maps" app

All Mac software are up to date, but "Mail" has been working fine since my last update that was awhile ago.

I am confused to say the least. Suggestions? Thank you!

If you do a Get Info (command - I) on Mail and Maps applications, what version numbers do you see?

    Try a reboot.

Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

Isolate a problem by using a different user account

If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

Safe mode - on El Capitan

    Start Mode without failure-El Capitan.

  • Cannot remove the Mega-Backup-get error message

When you try to remove MegaBackup I get message "Cannot open the application"MegaBackup"because it may be damaged or incomplete."

"MegaBackup" is an application of unworthy of trust-storage cloud or perhaps real malware. I have not tried to make this distinction. To remove it, please start back up all the data (not with the MegaBackup himself, of course). Then take the steps below.

1 Select the elements of the connection tab in the users pane and groups of system preferences. Remove all elements with a name starting in 'MegaBackup '.

2 log off or restart the computer.

    3. slide the MegaBackup application in the Applications to the trash and empty folder.

Note that you cannot delete any application trying to drag its icon from the LaunchPad or the Dock. You must open the Applications folder in the Finder.

You may have installed ad-injection with MegaBackup malware. If you don't see unaccustomed pop-up in a web browser, ask for additional instructions.

  • El Capitan: Cannot open the application "app name" because it may be damaged or incomplete

Came across this several times. After you initially upgrade to El Capitan 10.11.2, after logging into my main account (admin), I was not able to open applications and received the following error:

"Cannot open the application name"app"because it may be damaged or incomplete."

I couldn't open "Activity Monitor", "System Preferences", "Finder" or anything (provided, App Store or other system). The icons will revert to the default application icon. Other users have no problem with the same apps.

After the panic, I found a solution: go to another admin account, delete the old user account, and then add it again. This version corrects the problem of this user; It apparently rebuilt the user for that user identity information, while leaving their home folder (and preferences, documents, key rings, etc.) only. iCloud information must be re-entered, but it is trivial. Once the user delete and add, I was able to run these applications.

When I upgraded to 10.11.3, it is the same thing, but to 3 accounts. I managed to solve this problem through the guest account - that is, I was still able to authenticate as an administrator, but I could not open a session and run anything.

El Capitan removed permissions repair; I think it can be done in the recovery console, but I shouldn't do that.

No idea why this continues to be?

Generally to searching for the above error message is specific to applications from the App Store or other, not about things like "Activity Monitor" and "System Preferences."

    You now have this problem?

Cannot remove an application because it's administered protected. I'm the only user on my PC and I tried to uninstall it and using programs of cleaner files but to no avail. I'm afraid that it changes my files and folders because it has permissions to modify files and every time I have to refuse permissions that they reset. I also noticed various system files in good areas. Any help would be great thanks in advance.

I tried everything above, but ultimately I came short. Instead, I saved my precious files and then restore my computer to factory settings. It seems to have worked, but it was a lot of effort, unfortunately I forgot my log in then it will have to do.

    Thanks for all the help.

Unlike Windows XP & Vista, Windows 7 does not include a default email Client. [What were thinking?]

You will need to install a (e.g. MS Outlook;) Windows Live Mail; Thunderbird) , and then set it as a default for mail in CUSTOM (<>) article in Set Program Access and defaults of the computer , then restart your computer before any function send to or MailTo will become available.
