  • Using a Canon Rebel T3 to record video

So I bought a Canon Rebel T3 like 5 years ago and never really used. I was think to post video of music or video for YouTube and myself.

What all do I need (in addition to skills)

What of the hardware and software required?

I saw a YouTube video, saying: you need a lens wide angle (he said they were pretty good markets)

Do I need software or even Canon for this load on my PC?

You will probably need editing at one point software, but you are good enough to go right now. What lens do you have? the 18-55 kit lens is probably wide enough until proof to the contrary.

  • How can I activate the infrared remote on my Canon Rebel T5 trigger

My awesome wife bought me a starter kit complete with a Canon Rebel T5 (not a T5i) for my birthday... I'm so happy! In the starter kit is an infrared remote that looks like this.

It is said that I just need to set my camera to accept a remote trigger in order to use this remote control. But I can't for the life of me find! I tried searching google but whenever I type anything remotely (no pun intended) with Canon Rebel, I get pages and pages of places to buy an and not a lot of information on how to use one.

    Thanks for your time!

    Well Yes, no IR sorry

  • What Flash Speedlite will work with my Canon Rebel EOS T3 1100 D?

Hi, I'm new to the era of digital and older than 55 years.  My husband bought me a Canon Rebel EOS T3 1100 D in July.   (I fought the "technological" upgrade until my old film camera Canon quit on me).  I took pictures since 1966, so I'm not new to photograph, just for our technological advances.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me with which Flash Speedlite will work with my Canon Rebel T3 D 1100 camera specific.

I thank very you much for your time.

I just got my 430EX II that I bought for use with my Rebel T2i. The main reason I bought the Canon product was... using Canon products, I have never had a failure or a bad experience of 60 years. I use the LL 430EX for a few days and I'm very happy with the results. Much, much better than the built-in flash. It is on sale now with free shipping of Fed X. It is hard to beat.

Good luck with your new camera.

  • How can I fix my Canon Rebel XS drive to remote control of shooting mode?

If you mean the IR remote, I don't think that the XS can do that, you must use the wired remote.

  • Is there a way to manually activate the built in FLASH on my Canon Rebel T3i?

Is there a way to manually activate the built in FLASH on my Canon Rebel T3i? I can't find the place to do this.
    Thank you.

You can also use the "Programming" mode  Program mode allows the camera to choose the initial settings, but unlike the automatic mode where you cannot override the decisions of the exhibition, you CAN override the decisions of the exhibition in programming mode if you wish.

If you choose the programming mode, press the button to bring up the flash and then don't bother to circumvent the decisions of exposure of the camera then it will work a lot like automatic mode.

  • EOS Rebel T5 and an EOS Rebel T5i

What is the difference in an EOS Rebel T5 and and EOS Rebel T5i

A little. The "i" suffix is added to the models who are or have been at the top of the line of rebels when they were introduced. Models without the "i" suffix to the end intended to be more affordable and lower line (but frankly any SLR is a nice camera. ("Entry level" for a digital SLR is always very nice.)

The T5i has an articulated touchscreen LCD display, all nine autofocus points are "cross-type", it has a faster continuous shooting speed and several other interesting features. The image sensor, however, is largely the same.

Later in the line of rebels is T6i T6s. The 's' has a bill setting dial on the back and an LCD screen on top of the camera. T6i/s have a sensor improved, better ISO, more autofocus points more have been added to the development system. It is the most important upgrade to a new Rebel series body in several years. Canon tends to introduce a new body of rebels about once a year. Sometimes the differences from previous models are small, but this time, the differences are more significant.

You can buy a USB memory card reader very little expense. TO
Amazon.com, they begin to 1.46 USD.

I always prefer using such a reader, rather than connect the camera.
The drive uses no battery in the camera and it's quick and easy to
    use.

I have two of these drives. An I keep on my desk, one in my
Bag for laptop to use when traveling.

My Canon Rebel SL1 won't download pictures on my Macbook Air. I downloaded the pictures happens countless times, but recently, whenever I connect my camera to my computer the following:

iPhoto opens and it shows that my device is recognized and import the button is grayed out. The images never appear on the screen, and I am not able to do something with my photos. I have a Macbook Air, so I don't have a disk drive. I don't have a card reader.

Get a card reader - they sold abut $10 - and see if that helps. Or connect to another computer - a friend even. See if that helps.

If it is not: what version of iPhoto? What version of the operating system?

  • Canon Rebel T3 busy

I have a Canon Rebel T3 two years, with the two kit objectives accompanying.  Suddenly today, after I take one or two shots in a row he said busy for a second or two and continues to delay the shooting, saying busy.  The battery said full, but I put in a full in all cases.  The card is class 10, 32 gb San disk Ultra.  Online, I saw someone advised to try a different lens, and it's the same problem with either lens.  He also said wipe contacts of the lens with a soft cloth, I did.  This is what lends on manual, sunny day, no unusual conditions.

Is there any other problems and REMEDIES I can do?  I saw a reference to replace the main Board - gee, don't want to go there!

    Thank you!

Do you too low level format? You need to do it sometimes.

  • Settings for Canon Rebel XT

I have a Canon Rebel XT with a Canon EF - 5 18-55mm lens, and I need help on how to configure the camera for taking quality photos of small objects for resale on the internet.  I have a light box and 2 lights tungston, but I'm having a hard time getting a clear image with a white background.  Right now I'm taking pictures of pens to ball. Any help would be really appreciated.  Thank you

If you're having trouble getting sharp images, you might have problems DOF or depth of field, which describes the distance range of the camera subjects are made the point clear.  Take photos of 'products', such as pens, begins to cross the line in macro photography, which is the art of photographing the very small.

    http://digital-photography-school.com/macro-photography-for-beginners-part-1/

Remember, smaller apertures will give you a greater DOF, but may require more light.  You will get sharper photos with the lowest ISO setting, which may also require more light.  Finally, it's good to take a long exposure of stationary objects.  Your camera must be able to do it for you in Av mode, constant aperture, with ISO set to 100.

  • Is there a digital zoom on the Canon Rebel T5?

I realize it has optical zoom turning the lens on my Canon Rebel T5, but I like the digital zoom shots as well. My older Powershot a digital and optical zoom shooting. I expected the rebel T5 having two institutions. I have to be able to zoom more than the 55 mm provides? Recommendations for a better zoom lens? Digital zoom is on this other than cropping model after?

No on both lenses. But sells Canon, a 18-200mm lens, and you can get third 18-270mm lens that will give you this range of zoom with unique to the camera lens.
