  OK - I'm missing something obvious.  How the hell can I publish as SWF Captivate 8?

  There is no option to SWF for reactive nature projects. For an ordinary project, the option is in publication > publish on the computer.

  When all the toolbars are missing, you are probably in full screen view, press F11 to toggle mode full-screen, or you can move the cursor to the top of the screen.

  Toolbars and their contents have been rearranged and buttons have been merged dual-use, the net result is that I could see about 25% of what I had before and recorded about 10% of the area of the toolbar with great loss of functionality to hide things that might already be hidden and to create confusing buttons that already have keyboard shortcuts and don't need to be seen. The only good thing that has been ' Ctrl + / ' has been added to hide/show the modules bar that has not replaced the status bar.

  I just downloaded a trial version of Captivate 9 and can't publish in Flash.  Aid said choose Flash in the Publish menu, but it does not appear as an option, that the various versions of HTML5.  The publishing Flash option has been removed?

  I suspect that you are on a sensitive project. These projects can be published as SWF, because the Flash Player has been banned from mobile devices.

  If you need the SWF-output, you need create a normal project.

  Make sure your video file is all characters lowercase and without spaces or punctuation characters.

  Check that your site administrator has set the video as a type of authorized file mime type.

  Link to the file that Captivate HTM publishes and not to the SWF that you did in the above link.

  Make sure that all THE published files have been downloaded successfully to the web site, including the video file.

• Rendering problems when publishing to SWF, MP4 format

  The image appears well within Captivate 5, 5.5 or 6 (6.0.1.240) (on Windows 7). However, when I preview the project in one of the versions of the said or publish to SWF format or mp4, the colors white and yellowish alternation table are not preserved:

  

  In addition, the yellowish area in some slides will creep on in other sections of the published output (notice that the image above is only a part of the whole capture zone). These problems occur not in the output HTML 5, but I have to be able to output mp4. And I don't think really profesional is to have images of the software to make me do a simulation under par.

  The problem does not occur in sections of full-motion, and the difference makes this more noticeable problem. I checked out some of my old projects (probably made in Captivate 4 or more) and this problem did not exist.

  I tried record 16 - bit and 32-bit color mode options, by disabling the compression by advanced project, percentage, do not compress the SWF, strength to change the JPEG republish and nothing has helped.

  That slide quality do you use? If it is low, replace optimized. It is the first proposal, the only one, you don't mention. Sorry if you tried that as well.

  16-bit/32-bit is for demo Full Motion recording or HD video, but I think you're talking about normal capture workflow.

• Colors in gifs drizzled in Captivate® 5, published

  Hi all

  Has anyone encountered a problem where colors in GIFs is stripped when Captivate 5 publishes to Flash? Attached are the screenshots of an example. Good (below) shows how the graphic should appear - a simple calenda-type chart with two rows (weeks) in yellow and a blue star on Friday last in the yellow lines. Bad (detail below) shows all of the chart with the yellow light and the star is black.

  I tried to make the white parts of the image transparent and also tried making them white. Whatever it is, publication of Flash (Player version 9) makes the graphic look as bad.

  Any ideas? I ended up converting the image to JPG format and that seemed to fix the problem, but I would still like to know why this is happening to this GIF (this doesn't happen to all of them in my project, just this one). Perhaps a particular setting? (Image settings are 0, except for the Alpha, which is 100).

  Double check all settings in the crop tool and make sure that you are not say things to create an image of HUGE due to your settings.

  Yes, you can post a .pdf of 8 output Captivate by pdf export of audit option in the publish on my computer window. You can see which publishes PDFs in Adobe Reader version 9.

  I have a custom navigation buttons has been created in flash and inserted as an animation to the slide model.

  It is a basic navigation for example, next and previous buttons, which in turn will make slides in captivate advance or backword. I use flash for aesthetic reason. I can get this to work in captivate 5.5, but can not do work in captivate 7.

  Use rdcmndNextSlide rather than cpCmndNextSlide. I also propose the discovery of cp outside the button click function. I know this is an old deprecated command, but they always hide in there.
