    Summary: mouse clicks are often not accepted.

    This problem appears similar to screw "mouse click and Audio does not not in Windows 7 after updates - must open the Task Manager to work again ' in that these used to work properly, but don't not after updates.

    Behavior: at the start of Win7, the mouse works. At the time where that Win7 is ready to connect, the mouse no longer works correctly. The pointer of the track with the movements of the mouse properly and the keyboard works correctly.

    Overview, all that is under the mouse pointer lights up. It is precisely the clicks that do not work. To operate, I have to do two things: (1) click repeatedly or (2) move the mouse, click on as I move it. This would suggest that I have a race situation between the input with the keyboard devices, winning unless the mouse is active. Mouse clicks are also a priority lower than that of the mouse movement.

    I tried to uninstall/reinstall the Intellimouse driver and software, from the Task Manager and safe mode.

    Thus, it seems that there is a problem with "Focus".  It seems that for some reason, Explorer.exe to focus every time that you click, which makes the current window isn't clicked outside.  This could be caused by a conflict between your touchpad driver and your laser mouse?  try to disable the touchpad in Device Manager.  test the mouse... then vice versa and let know us how it goes.

  • No mouse click screen capture (Cap 6)

    I use 6 Captivate with default preferences. When I try to capture a software simulation using the automatic mode, any act done with the mouse is captured. There is no shutter to click and no slide is produced. This is true for a mouse plugged into the base of the computer and the other directly connected to the laptop.  In addition, no screenshots not made when the countdown ends after a click on the button Save. Normal screen captures occur when an action is performed on the keyboard (examples: typing and Ctrl + B for bold text). I can also create a slide for automatic registration by clicking on the Prt Scr key on the keyboard of the computer. I have reset the preferences of Captivate. The checkbox "Run this program as Administrator" has been selected. I've been using Captivate since version 3.0 and have never met such a problem.

    I had my IT people do the reinstall. Nothing has changed.

    I made some other experiences this morning and found that in some circumstances, Captivate capture the mouse - click actions.

    Before I explain what circumstances here, you should be aware of my computer Setup. I have a laptop computer in a docking station and a second, freestanding, monitor. At the point where the problem occurred, the laptop has been designated as my primary monitor and I was trying to make my Captivate captures on the free-standing monitor, which designates as my secondary monitor. This choice was made because the independent monitor has adjustment resolution most of my users have.

    After that I went to the registration window, the red rectangle, to my primary monitor (the laptop), Captivate capture mouse click actions. I even changed my primary monitor to be the independent monitor and Captivate has continued to capture the action of clicking on the monitor too. So, there is always a problem, but a lot easier to manage. Maybe this solution will help others with similar problems.

  • Windows 8 media library is slow to respond to the mouse clicks

    I added the media library with free product key, but the app is completely unusable because it takes several minutes to respond to a mouse click and I have to restart. Other applications in Windows 8 Pro work very well and my computer is fast and a full scan recent antivirus shows nothing abnormal. If the application of the library may be corrupted and if so can I ask another key because I can not uninstall.

    Should I try the system restore and try again
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Go to control panel, programs and features, click on the button on / off characteristics, characteristics of the expand (+) media and check a Windows Media Center.

  • Wobbly mouse click?

    I'm working on a game that revolves around timed mouse clicks, and it is somewhat important that they are accurate. However, I am having some problems with clicks. Every so often, maybe about 10 to 20% of the time - the function that the click is supposed to trigger ends. It is an example of code:

    box.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, tester)

    Function Tester (e: Event)

    {

    numberTracer += 1;

    trace (numberTracer);

    e.currentTarget.gotoAndStop (numbers [Math.floor (Math.random () * numbers.length)])

    }

    When I run this code in a project, each 10 or so clicks, numberTracer will trace a new number, but the lens will not generate a new image at random. So, even if the click triggers the function, the function does not work until the end.

    I never noticed this in other projects, but none of my previous projects have used relentlessly by clicking on this game. Is this a limitation of flash or is there a coding problem that I'm on. (The instance of 'box' contains three other symbols, 16 images and 5 layers total.)

    Run a testscenario, to see if the error is random or periodically, like this

    for (var i: unit = 0; i)<>

    box.dispatchEvent(new MouseEvent(MouseEvent.CLICK, Tester));

    }

    a guess would be this randomizer function you

    Numbers [Math.Floor (Math.Random () * Numbers.Length)]

    somehow produces numbers that are out of reach of your movieClip (like in your case 0 or 17), listen this number in the tester() and draw.

    Random generation of vor I use this function, it is super fast and superreliable:

    function _randInt(min:int,_max:int):int
    {
    return int ((Math.random () * (max - min + 1)) + min);
    }

    its use in your case would be:

    e.currentTarget.gotoAndStop (_randInt (1.16));

    If movieclip.addEventListener (MouseEvent?);

    the? mark is where I think it would go...

    import flash.events.MouseEvent;

    movieclip.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, fDown);
    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, fUp);

    function fDown(evt:MouseEvent)
    {

    }

  • Disability - Setup to ignore the movement unstable and irregular button of mouse clicks to the hand tremors.

    I feel the tremors in my wrist, hand and fingers. This means that my hand and fingers shake uncontrollably. These shocks, it is difficult for me to hold my mouse again, on a location. This also means that my unwanted finger marks, double-click. Yes, double-click. My trembling finger can double-click my mouse faster that I can do by intent.

    Is there a setting of the mouse or the mouse driver which can filter the agitation of my hand movements? Maybe it would identify fast movements that do not move in roughly the same direction.

    To solve the problem of double click, I offers an option for the mouse, double-click settings that would create a window of acceptable speeds double click. Instead of having only a recognition speed minimum double click, as we have now, the option applies to a maximum recognition double click speed. Double click would be ignored if the speed is too slow or too fast. This option would create a window or a legitimate speed range.

    Well, in any case. Does anyone know a solution to my problem of hand tremors?

    Dashboard-> Ease of Access Center-> make the mouse easier to use-> on make the mouse easier to use the window under See also (below), click on "mouse settings" (blue link) to open mouse properties-> click "Button" s tab, under double-click speed ", set the speed to your liking.» Double click on the small folder to test. Slow setting the folder opens and close to slow and high speed mouse clicks, while setting high speed works for mice high speed double click. In your case I would choose high-speed where the slow mouse double click on the parameters are ignored, while the speed slow settings double click of the mouse of high speed are not. I hope I could help

  • Why the right mouse clicking on the icons and thumbnails cause error message and the screen resets?

    When I returned from vacation, my PC worked as usual, but later in the day that it would be not laod, it gets to a certain point and then a blue screen and try a reboot. Managed to use the 'safe mode' and finally 'System restore', but it kept crashing until I went back as it would go, i.e. end of /April. Been authorized since except this error right click of the mouse.

    Looks like you may have a bad Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) add on.

    What is your version of XP and the Service Pack?

    Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

    Here are a few thoughts:

    When the Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) is wrong to behave on a right click, begins to suspect third-party add-ons explore extension.

    Those who would be the Explorer extensions that do not belong to Microsoft.  This means that extensions that you have added.  Solution Explorer extensions are generally well and installation of certain applications will install extensions from Explorer solutions for you, give you a choice and sometimes they can be added sometimes without your knowledge or consent when you install some software.

    Have you installed new software because the system finally worked correctly and if so, what?

    Solution Explorer extensions are sometimes added as a new right-click option, you see on folders and files (like the scan of this file, open that file, play this song).  When you right click on something, the Explorer wants to display a menu of choices.  If there is a bad or outdated extension, Explorer may crash.

    If there is something in particular that you do during exploration that you know will be the cause of the problem, which will help focus on the problem and the help that you suddenly know, when you have found and corrected.  If you can get there when you want it, make an adjustment, then there is no message the next time you do whatever it is you're doing, you've found and fixed (or perhaps you can fix).

    First of all you need a way to see what modules explore you have installed now and a way to turn them off (not uninstall them) so you can understand that we are at the origin of the problem.  You can have a lot of extensions not installed Microsoft don't even know you about.

    Download ShellExView here to see what Explorer extensions you have loaded:

    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/shexview.html

    ShellExView does not install anything on your computer, simply of runs and displays.

    After launching ShellExView, under Options, choose "Mark non-Microsoft Extensions" and extensions not Microsoft will be pink, clear, but on some systems which is a difficult color to see, so click on display, choose the columns and move the column Microsoft closer to the top, so you can see on your screen without having to scroll left and right.

    Click on the column header for Microsoft not to sort the display (by clicking on the column of Microsoft) if all the "" s are on top and easy to see.

    The s in 'No' would be things you have added (non-Microsoft) and are what you should be suspect.

    You can also Google the name of a suspect add-on and see if there are visits, on Explorer crashing and what other people have done about it.

    You can Google something like:

    Explorer XP crashing

    (you must fill in the name of adds your suspect on).

    See what kind of search results hits you get and are looking for solutions or situations that sound like yours.

    I'm not a defender of trial and error, but I can't think of another way to do...

    Right click and disable the extensions one at a time non-Microsoft keep a list so you can enable them again later if you wish. The result of the change is immediate and no reboot is necessary.  Test your failure condition.

    If you recognize all the extensions that have been added or recently downloaded, start with these first.

    Disabling the extension does not uninstall the extension - it is just disabled.

    Disable them one at a time until your right click on do not generate an error, then restart and test again.  Last extension you have turned off the
    a suspect.

    You can also just disable all non-Microsoft extensions, restart and allow them one at a time until you find the one that generates the condition.

    The hope is that you will find an extension that caused the error, and then you can figure out what on this subject - either uninstall it or see if you can get an update of the author of the extension of their web page.

    I have not your problem, but when you turn off/turn on extensions, the extension is immediately disabled, so disable an extension does not seem to require a restart, but if you find the problem, I reboot and retest anyway to really be sure that the problem has disappeared.

    If you post your non-Microsoft extensions list, maybe someone will recognize it as a potential problem.

    If you find the offending extension that's the problem, please let us know what it is that I can add to my list.

    If you get a blue screen of death (BSOD), you must do this:

    The next time your system crashes, provide more information on what you see.
    Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:
    Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).
    Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.
    If there is a name of the file listed in the STOP message, don't forget to include this information too.
    Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you.  We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like.

    Finally, I'd be curious to know why you say you get an error message and tell us what the error message said.

  • Satellite A500 keyboard/mouse gel pad - slider and type the inadmissible spaces

    Problem with my new laptop, several times, that the cursor has become inadmissible for the mouse pad, and everything that is on the screen does not recognize me typing on the keyboard. This seems to happen while I'm using the mouse pad.

    I got the mouse pad power button thinking it may have been moved, but it does not affect the lack of reaction.

    Could I perform certain functions I don't know? Any other ideas?

    It is not easy to understand what the problem is here and try it all, it is possible to control these issues.
    With original preinstalled OS touchpad should work except that it has disabled with FN + F9 key combination or small button.

    This with typing is also a bit mysterious to me. If you use multiple windows (several different applications) be sure that you try to type when the window is active.

    Please don't get me wrong but the best thing you can do is to ask for help somewhere. Best address is Toshiba service. They can put the mobile on the desktop and check what is happening exactly.
    Here on this virtual world, I can just say: If you want to test on the right way to reinstall OS using the HARD drive recovery image (factory State) and test the functionality again. By default, everything should work well. If this is not the case, there must be a hardware failure.

  • How can I disable standby/hibernation / startup emits a beep and the sounds?

    I have a Lenovo Thinkpad x 200 running vista Ultimate edition. 7454 - cto of type

    How can I disable those annoying beeps that sound whenever my computer goes in and out of standby and Hibernate.

    I tried to transform the model of 'No sound' sounds, but the tone still sounds when the computer enters and wakes from sleep and hibernation.

    If I turn on "mute" is put into standby or Hibernate mode, the beep does not sound (which is what I want). Unfortunately, its impossible to come back on MUTE when im trying to put the computer away from the sleep or Hibernate (which makes it very distracting to turn on the computer during the class).

    Solution:

    Enter the BIOS by pressing F1 during startup

    > Config

    > Beep and alarm

    Tone control power set to [Disabled]

    Your solution is correct, but I think it's also accessible under ThinkPad Power Manager software. Go to the "Global settings" tab and choose "beep when the power state changes.»

  • How can I disable the mouse pad when you use a mouse plug-and-play?

    How can I disable the mouse pad when you use a mouse plug-and-play? I tried to disable the driver, and nothing works.

    Hello

    Check with support of the manufacturer system, documentation online or forums that there is probably
    Shortcut keys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.

    Parameters for TouchPad located in the control panel - mouse (there may be several tabs with TouchPad entered)
    and some come with a utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock in the bottom right.

    ==========================================

    If necessary: (make sure that you have restarted at least once, if the above did not work)

    Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
    Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK
    on the TouchPad and UNINSTALL.

    Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

    This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad from working.

    The similar procedure on XP, Windows 7 and Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

    Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers.

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    I hope this helps.
