  This may be caused by the Tab Mix Plus extension

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

• Factory reset does not work

  I have a Nighthawk X 8 I bought two months ago. Up to today (March 7), it worked fine. Today I came home and found it did not work. I tried to access it via routerlogin.net, nothing worked. I tried factory reset using a toothpick about 5 times now, but it doesn't seem to matter. my computer (connected via ethernet) does not allow me to set it up, and I'm not wireless. The power button remains mostly orange, but it seems resets automatically once in a while.

  I tried to call customer service, but they hung up on me while starting to record my router midsentence. I'm afraid I'll need a RMA number, unless someone can tell me why reset does not work. I tried to do it for 8 seconds (directions say that), longer, several times, while it was turned on, turned off, both, etc. None of this helps.

  If I can't get the factory reset to work, is there a way to set up an RMA number without appeal? After the initial CS hangup, I was told that I would be on the phone for an hour, waiting for relief.

  From your post, I understand that your keyboard and trackpad on your MacBook Pro are unresponsive and now you see the Bluetooth set up screen on the computer. I also see that you tried to reset the SMC, but that doesn't seem to work because the built-in keyboard do not respond.

  I know that you do not have a bluetooth keyboard, you can connect, but you have a USB keyboard? Even a USB keyboard for a computer Windows will work. If you do, I would say connection that the keyboard and you use these keys to perform an SMC reset, but reset the PRAM as well.   Took me all day... problem solved... went to the site downloaded NDS windows microsoft 10 on a USB key from another computer and connected to this computer. Switched from the boot on USB and re installed windows mode. Works great now and I hope to God that I have never do it again.
