• InDesign CC 20141 completely unusable

  Since I installed the 20141 update last week, InDesign CC was completely unusable for me.  Everything works fine until I open an existing file or create a new one, then just stops.  I can't use it at all (I had to reinstall CS6 for work on InDesign documents).

  I am on Windows 7 (64 bit) - everything worked perfectly before the update.

  Everyone knows about this problem?  Is it possible to cancel update?

  FYI: I managed to work around this problem by running InDesign as an administrator.

  I'm able to return the Windows 7 upgrade as Amazon customer service is so awesome.
  If I buy the FULL version of the same product (Windows 7 SP1) will work without having to reinstall everything?
  From my understanding, I have 30 days to activate my system with a correct product key. My hopes are that I can work on this system in the meantime until my full version. I just want to be sure that the FULL version product key is all that I need.
  Note: It was my stupid mistake. The product description clearly says 'Upgrade' and I managed to miss. :(

  Yes, when you get the key, follow these steps:

  Press Windows key + R

  Type: slui.exe 3

  Press enter

   

  Enter the new key, and then click next to activate via the Internet.

  You can download and install from Creative Cloud desktop application. In there, there is a menu drop down saying: "filters and Versions, select"Previous Version"here and you'll be able to install 9.0 CC from there.

• Bug: InDesign exports the completely false images

  When I export my EPUB, InDesign inserts wrong images in the HTML code.

  I have an Illustrator autopaint working file which is placed in the document. Each chapter has an image in front of him, each image is a work plan in the .ai.

  When I export to EPUB, some plans of work are inserted correctly, while repeat several times in several chapters completely randomly. There only appear once, but InDesign inserts several times. What is happening here?

  I use the XML command. I solved the problem by removing the photo frame (reissue of links did not help) and it re-anchor in the stream. Then the images exported correctly.
