CC of Photoshop and CS6 on the same computer...

I'm sorry, if this question was already asked on the forum.

I have already installed extended CS6... I want to open a trial CC account. Can I use the trial version of Photoshop with the CS6 CC at the same time on one computer?

And a second question, is that one version of CC, is there? I mean, there is no standard or extended for CC version, there is only one CC?

Yes and Yes. Different versions can co-exist peacefully and from the CC of the PS, there is only one version of the PS.

    Hi, CPC,.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Community!

You must install Flight simulator on vista as well as Windows Xp and vista are two different operating systems.

You log in to vista, you may not use any of the XP application and vice versa.

  • Updates of Photoshop and Illustrator is the same password as password ID Adope?

I'm trying to update my programs Photoshop and Illustrator, because the creative cloud has announced updates.

I need to add my password in the box, but it does not work. Is this same password as password ID Adope?

If not, where can I change or get the new one, because I don't remember the other oldest.

I don't think a password is required by Adobe to get updates, but if this is the case, it will be the same login information that you use for the Cloud.  It is likely to be your computer security, requiring you to enter the 3rd system password.

  • CC of Photoshop and Photoshop CS3 coexist on the same computer?

When I buy soon Photoshop CC, she and my earlier, entirely legal, version (Photoshop CS3) to coexist on the same computer without conflict? I have to continue using PS CS3 to work daily and gradually learn Photoshop CC. Also: My Custom Actions in CS3 can be imported and used by PS CC? Or do need to be recreated from scratch? Thank you.

Yes, multiple versions can coexist. Re-use of your actions is not possible, because too many items have changed from bene, but you won't know until you try.

  • Mamoud Suite CS5 and CS6 on the same PC?

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum for this post... wasn't sure where to post.

I currently have Master Suite CS5 on my PC (windows 7) can I install Master Suite CS6 and try on the same PC? There will be problems if I decide to keep the two and use a the same PC? (run only one version at a time of course)  All potential conflicts?

What Lightroom4 and 3rd paerty pluggins (Nik software, etc.)?

    Thanks for the advice/input...

Yes, installed versions are separated. You can have both at the same time. just be aware that file associations will automatically point to the latest version. plug-ins will need to be updated. Even trying to use some plugins CS5 CS6 is ill-advised. LR4 is a separate program and has nothing to do with it, so the plugin will have no influence.

  • Master Suite CS5 and CS6 on the same PC (Windows 7)?

I currently have Master Suite CS5 on my PC with Windows 7.  Can I install Master Suite CS6 on the same machine and keep the CS5 (for example, separate programs), I ran only 1 at a time... but I'm worried if there would be no conflcist?

What Lightroom 4 and part 3 Pluggins (Nik software) etc. that are already utililizing CS5?

Thanks in advance for any constructive contribution...

The only issue would be with Acrobat and the earlier version

uninstalled as part of the installation of the CS6.

Other that that, you should be fine.

  • LabVIEW 6.1 and 2012 at the same computer problem

    Hello world.

I've been using Labview 6.1 for a while and it worked fine for me.

I recently installed Labview 2012 on the same computer and looks like the serial port of functions do not work properly. Whenever I try to open an example of VISA communication, labview freezes.

I guess it's because even though I can install two versions of labview in the same computer, the drivers can be installed once correct?

But I thought that labview 6.1 and 2012 may share the same VISA driver.

Is there a way I can resolve this problem with versions of labview works correctly?

    Thanks in advanc.

The LabVIEW and VISA compatibility chart is here. As you can see, there is no version of NI-VISA which is compatible with the two 2012 and your old 6.1. Indeed, the graphic poster not only any version of older than 7.1.1 LabvIEW.

  • Fusion and Parallels on the same computer?

A few months ago, I went from Fuiosn 3.0 to Parallels 5 mainly to see if Parallels would be faster on my iMac (it was).  I like parallel, but all-in-all, I liked the Fusion experience, better, I used a little unity and Fusion felt less intrusive on Mac.  So finally my question: is it possible to install Parallels and Fusion on the same machine, without a lot of interference between them, since they have both fact their integration with MAC OS X.  I do not really want to run them at the same time, but just have both installed, so I can try one and then the other.  I'm guessing it's something stupid and prone to problems, but I wanted to see if anyone else had tried, and what has been their experience.

I tried to search but the only things I found were in 2007 and 2008.

I have two Parallels and VMware Fusion installed on my MacBook Pro and have no problem having both installed at the same time however I have not run them at the same time, neither do I.

  • Flash CS4 can be installed and run on the same computer as Flash CS3?

I will be able to install Flash CS4 and keep Flash CS3? I can run both at the same time on the same computer?

I have several projects I want to maintain that in Flash CS3 for various reasons. If I have to put in place a separate computer to develop in CS4, I would like to know in advance.

    Thanks in advance.

You should be able to. CS4 install in a separate Directory of CS4. I currently have a system running suite CS3 and Flash 8 and InDesign CS2 web! From time to time, the system is confused between Flash 8 and Flash CS3 to open when you click on a FLA file in Windows Explorer by default. But apart from that, there is no issue.

I intend to get CS4 and still keep Flash 8 and CS3, simply because I've been working with people around the world who don't bother to upgrade.

  • Becomes the monthly CC Version of Photoshop and Lightroom substantially the same as getting Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 6?

Before I download and start paying monthly fees for the Photoshop/Lightroom CC, I want to assure you that this is the same tools and editing and high-end like 6 of Lightroom and Photoshop CS6 are (were?). Or am I better to shell out $2000 for CS6 and Lightroom 6.

    they are not the same.

a photographers cc plan includes not only ps cs6, but also the new version of ps already released (and newer versions that have not yet published).  and while the lr 6 are lr cc are the same on your desktop, the cc version includes mobile applications and newer versions (as they are released in the future).

in order to get 200 months for $10 / mo for the plan of photographers, ~ 8 + years of both lr and ps last for your $2000 (spreading over the years of payments that increases your return on investment and gives you the flexibility to terminate in the future).  and even if you are planing on maintaining your ps and lr for 10 years and more, you'll probably be able to use ps cs6 and lr 6 on any computer that you use that old in 10 years before the operating system is not compatible with the software.

It's kind of a no-brainer as far as I can see.

  • Can I get waterfox and firefox on the same computer

    I now use firefox 9.0 32-bit, then I install waterfox 9.0 and still use firefox. I have windows 7 32 & 64 bit

Just make sure you install each version of a separate program folder (make an installation customized if necessary) and that you use a separate profile for each version folder.

I don't know if Waterfox uses the same profiles.ini file to save profiles that Firefox works, but in case it then make sure to create a new profile.

  • installed 32-bit windows and 64 on the same computer

Windows 7 premium and pro 7 2010 more / active 32/64 bit installed on the same model.

It is MS office 2010 more. I was wrong. When I did the install I hit 32-bit instead of 64 bit 32 / 64-bit active.
