Change number of positive to negative

Hello

I use the SUM function in a calculated field to add and subtract values and display the results in a 'Total'.  Subtraction requires the user to enter a negative number in the field of "losses".  I would like to create a user just enter a number and to have the field automatically change to a negative number.  Is there a way to do it, or should I move it in a different way?

A negative number in a column where the color (sign) is negative would indicate a positive number.

I would make the calculation by using the subtraction operator. This can be done in the simplified or custom JavaScript options.

  • Positive and negative frequency of calculation deviation

    Hello

    IAM with PXI-5620 to measure RF PXI 5600.

    I need to measure the frequency deviation, Positive and negative. The example or vi "MT DAMA demodulate FM.vi" gives peak frequency deviation . Can any please help me find the positive frequency Deviation and negative frequency deviation of her

    Thank you

    Niju.

    Hi Johanna,.

    First things first - 5620 5600 + combined is what we call a PXI-5660 RF Signal Analyzer.

    The PXI-5660 module cannot be presence via the driver NOR-DAMA. The Modulation Toolkit FM sample that you reference is for the PXI-5661 and SMU-5663 analyzers, both use the driver NOR-DAMA.

    You use MT ni5660 FM demodulation. vi, located under the ni5660 examples.

    Now to your question...

    When you perform an FM demodulation, resulting the Subvi MT Demodulat FM data frequency / time with the frequency values (Y axis), is compared to the carrier frequency specified. Thus, data deviation of frequency (Hz), function of time. All you need to do to get the positive and negative frequency deviation is to use LabVIEW table Max & Min primitive functions of table palette. This will give you the min and max value of the FM data that will be the negative peak and the positive peak frequency deviation.

  • How to change the start position of the text on a custom path

    I don't seem to be able to change the start position of the text on a custom path. I can see the 'X' on the basic line that defines the beginning of the text, but it doesn't seem to be a way to change its position. Among the videos on the Internet suggested that now the CTRL key would allow X to drag along the way - however, if I try that, the path moves rather than the X.

    Steps to reproduce the problem:

    Select text on a custom path tool

    Draw a custom path

    Validate by clicking on the green arrow

    Click path for text insertion tool

    Type text

    Engage

    ... Now try to change the start position of the text.

    Photoshop Elements 10

    Windows XP SP3

    After validating the text you need to click on the path with the type tool (for example next to your first letter), and then by holding down the ctrl key should work.

    Your get the path selection tool.

    In other words without switching tools, just pass your cursor next to the text, then click on when the cursor turns into the i-beam cursor, but you can switch to the type tool as Ken suggest if you find that easier.

  • System change number

    Oracle documentation describes this as

    "A stamp that defines a version committed a database to a point in time. Oracle assigns each transaction posted a single SNA. »
    or
    "When a user commits a transaction, the transaction is assigned a system change number (SCN), which records the Oracle as well as redo the transaction in the redo log entries"

    etc.

    I'm a bit confused with the definition of the SNA in Oracle and documentation I see personally. I have a test database, locally, which I'm connected to.

    When I have a query as follows the V$ DATABASE, it returns the values as

    SELECT current_scn IN the database of v$.
    1973076

    query again after a few seconds and

    SELECT current_scn IN the database of v$.
    1973095

    I'm assuming that the number changes each time a transaction are committed. However, I realize now, the opposite is true... after seeing the above, that I realize that whenever a transaction occurs, it is assigned a SNA, but the change in the value of the CNS is not in the transaction are committed, I guess that it continues to automatically change all seconds. But sometimes it skips several numbers a second too. So I don't know what this change in value is based on?

    Can someone explain which depends on the change in value SNA? All links to the Oracle documentation will be also gratefully appreciated!

    sandeshd wrote:
    Is continuous commits that cause the RCS to change, or the RCS changes permanently (regardless of the unit of time) and commited attributed to movements can get this YVERT value?

    SNA does not increment by itself. This isn't like the constant opportunity tick of a clock. Instead, many functions within the Oracle request "the next SNA.

    Every commit request a new SNA. There are also many other changes within the database that also require a new SNA. Each successive application will get the next YVERT derived in a simple increment.

    Since the events that require SNA do not occur at regular intervals, you can consider the RCS to the tick of a clock that has an uneven interval between graduations.

    However if having a real clock (wall) that records fast enough times (microseconds or even picoseconds, if the processor is fast enough), you can see each YVERT corresponds to a specific time on this real clock. For ordinary clocks without a PS-hand, you might see 5 SNA in a "seconds" SNA and 200 in the next 'second '.

    BUT

    SNA can be used as a clock.

    Perhaps you've seen the clock sometimes recorded on a film. You will enter in the film you see the increase of the clock and you can see events as part of the film linked at this moment. In the same way, you will enter the SNA in the database, you can see changes to database (or 'events') at every moment.

    Therefore, to re-create the database at any moment, you reset the database to any YVERT before that moment (perhaps through a backup) and apply you all database changes, YVERT by RCS (perhaps from your journals of recovery) up to the moment where you want to.

  • SQL to change the negative number to positive number

    My apologies for the no doubt high 'thick-as-a-Board' nature of my request.

    Is it possible to convert a negative number by a positive value using SQL. I have a report that joins the 2 tables and I want to join the tables on a field 'amount '. Problem, is that in the 1 table QTYs are negative, and in another QTYs are positive. I know that this is in itself is a stupid thing to do, but anyway.

    I was just wondering if there is a simple way to get positive number versions of numbers:
    GET sampledata
    WITH sampledata AS
         (SELECT -345 var_num
            FROM DUAL
          UNION ALL
          SELECT -423423
            FROM DUAL
          UNION ALL
          SELECT -323.5
            FROM DUAL)
    SELECT *
      FROM sampledata;
    Any advice much appreciated.

    Thank you

  • convert oracle.jbo.domain.number of positive value to a negative value in EL Expression

    Hi all

    jdev: 11.1.1.4

    My use case is to try to convert positive user input negative number, once the user presses the tab key

    I use the Employee in the HR schema table and when any kind of user + ve value in the salary column, then be converted into value - EV.

    < af:inputText value = "#{bindings." Salary.inputValue.value > 0? 0 - links. Salary.inputValue.value: links. Salary.inputValue}.

    label = "#{bindings." Salary.hints.label}.

    minFractionDigits = '0' maxFractionDigits = "0".

    groupingUsed = 'false' local = "en-US" / >

    < / af:inputText >

    It's work the converted number in ve - but it makes the readonly entry text box. If the user was not able to change the value.

    Kind regards

    Krishan

    I don't think it can be done in EL only. the problem is that you change the location of storage. I suggest that you use a value valueChangeListener and climatiqueLes in there as

    {} public void numberChangeListener (ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent)

    Integer i = valueChangeEvent.getNewValue ((Integer));

    If (i > 0) {}

    get the link container

    BindingContainer links is BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();.

    updates to process

    FacesContext will involve = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

    valueChangeEvent.getComponent () .processUpdates (contxt);

    get a definitions page ADF ADF attributevalue

    AttributeBinding attr = (AttributeBinding) bindings.getControlBinding ("Salary").

    attr.setInputValue(i*-1);

    PPR refresh a component jsf

    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .addPartialTarget (valueChangeEvent.getComponent ());

    }

  • How do I listen for the change in the position of a node

    Hello

    I want to create a knot of thread/connection between two nodes of the scene. I want this thread node to be updated when one of the nodes is moving. In the common scenario I'd listen for change events in the nodes of the target of the post and update the thread:

    targetNode1.translateXProperty () .addListener (new ChangeListener < number > () {}
    public void changed (value of ObservableValue, oldValue, newValue number number) {}
    wire.setStartX (targetNode1.getTranslateX ());
    wire.setStartX (targetNode1.getTranslateY ());

    wire.setEndX (targetNode2.getTranslateX ());
    wire.setEndY (targetNode2.getTranslateY ());
    }
    });

    The problem is that the target nodes are children of a different container nodes (who are moving in fact). To listen for change events in the properties to translate target nodes does not work (their parent nodes are moving actually)

    Is there way of list of change in the overall position of the target relative to the scene nodes?

    That's right, it's not a super easy way to do. You need to connect listeners to each node in the parent hierarchy. The reason for which we do not have this feature built-in, is because it is extremely expensive (early versions of JavaFX 1.0 pre had "boundsInScene" but which was incredibly convenient, also completely killed performance). Do this for a few nodes is not a problem, but the fact for each node in the scene would be your 3 GHz machine to its knees :-).

  • positive and negative rotation numbers

    Hi all

    I create a roulette game that calculates the winning number based on the rotation of the main wheel. I'm if/else using statements to determine the winning number based on the rotation. I am tracking the rotation in the output panel. I want my rotation to go between 0 and 360, but the output panel trace 0-180, then it starts from "-180-0."

    The wheel can turn several times. No idea how to keep the positive numbers between 0 and 360, and do not have to write my if else to accommodate negative numbers?

    Thank you!

    var rot: Number = (whatever._rotation+360)%360;
